I bumped into Tom Cruise at one of his Mission Impossible movie openings a couple of years ago in London. Had no idea he was going to be at this one venue...just stumbled upon him walking around greeting fans outside the place. I have to say, he was remarkable. He stood out there for like an hour, signing autographs, letting fans take selfies with him. I have quite a bit of respect for him in that regard, plus he does a lot of, if not all of, his own stunts. I think he's a great guy.

Tom is unreal. He has the youthful energy of a man half his age. While having the wisdom and maturity of his own, yet not letting his age dictate how he should act and feel... or LOOK. Whatever role he plays, he learns those skills and keeps them. What makes him so damn iconic is that he's not just an actor-- he's genuinely the most charismatic, entertaining person in the room because of what he's learned in his movie roles!

I like his films, obviously not very intellectually challenging and more relaxing action but he plays his roles well. Yes Scientology is currently one of the nuttiest religions out there with their labor camps but it is dying and they film and record everything Tom says in these confession type sessions ( auditing) they are probably blackmailing him.
