I was a social drinker for most of my adult live until 2 1/2 years ago. Game changer. I do yoga in the evening when I used to have 2-3 glasses of wine. My skin has never looked better...sleep is awesome....anxiety is down
Coming from a personal trainer and nutrition background, your tips are good. However, it is extremely important for women to lift heavy while strength training- especially after age 40. Those light weights really are not doing much at all challenging your body. You need progressive overload. You will not get bulky. I am a slender size 2 hourglass, and lift on the heavier side.
Agreed! The HGH you kick out from heavy lifting also keeps the skin looking much younger on the body and having good muscle tone when you have low body fat keeps you from having that “ sack of deer antlers” look that so many older women get if they are thin.

Check out Caroline Girven here on UA-cam for a great place to start. She is tiny but has a ton of muscle. Perfect physique in my opinion but I like a fit, not scrawny look. Her workouts will get you going and building muscle if you prefer to do it from home. I do think gym equipment is required to really work the lower body but you can grow your strength at home first and move to heavier weights with machines. I looked at your channel….seems you’re a carnivore gal, too. I love Carnivore and you can use it with intermittent fasting to really speed muscle gain. Lift at the end of your fasting window then refeed with red meat.
For your hips try a niacinamide supplement - it takes at least 4 months of using it daily to see a difference... in my early 40’s I started to have hip pain after I ran and would limp for a few days and eventually stopped running. In one of Susanne sommers books she interviewed a doctor at the tahoma clinic and he recommended niacinamide for at least four months to people over 40 complaining of hip or knee pain.... it was a game changer for me.... I didn’t think it was doing anything until after 4 months I noticed if I rolled on my side while sleeping I no longer woke up in pain... soon after I started jogging again.... it’s a supplement I will never go without now

Love this! I started Bikram partly because of you. During Covid, hubby and I tried it online and enjoyed the challenge. We now are in studio and love it! It's an awesome addition to our Caroline Girvan online heavy weight workouts. I'd love to see what you eat in a day video. I LOVE food and I'm able to keep a healthy weight by eating the right foods. Love to see what you choose.

Me too! Was juicing celery, and eating the big salad everyday but was constantly boasted and inflamed. Went carnivore and have lost that squishy look. I’m 51, 5’2” 118 ripped pounds and I put the 20 year olds to shame at the gym! Best of all I don’t feel a day over 30.

I found out that I have osteoporosis in one hip and was sent to a rheumatologist. He said I need to get on one of the bone building drugs. I told him I wanted to wait because it’s a lifelong thing once you start them. Did your Dr mention that to you or just supplements and exercise? Thank you!
Just wondering what your typical dinner may look like? I add beans to my diet for extra protein and fiber. I do now like meat that much. Also, wondering how you modify this if your going out to dinner? Do you allow yourself that pasta? I struggle with this balance. Thank you for sharing!
Absolutely cut out alcohol! It is the worst. It really puts the lbs on also. I cut it out and lost 15 lbs without trying, and I wasn't very big to start with.

I used to drink every day and quit cold turkey for my health. I lost 30lbs and felt like a new person. And I had more money because I wasn’t buying expensive wine all the time 😂
