Relentless mutation, I was hooked. I thought to myself: "can it get any better?" Then you guys released Bleed the future.... Damn..... How you guys gonna top that? Fuckin love it!!!!❤❤❤
So cool to kno u lov editing video Dean cuz yur GREAT AT IT!! 🤣 thoze videos with Claire are so awesom n hilarious - really stoked I found yu guys not alot makes me laugh out loud these days - fucking brilliant. Bless yall 💗
I’m admittedly not a musician of any kind lol. That being said, I absolutely love learning not only about the instruments but all the workings going on behind the band. Keep up the great work!
You don't have to be a musician to enjoy and appreciate hearing people talk about it. As someone who started out as a non-musician and is now a 5-year guitar player starting to tackle the "Easier" parts of Archspire, it goes by so quickly. If you are interested in learning any instrument my advice is just to start learning and don't let yourself stop as long as you don't stop regardless of how little you play you'll be shocked at your progress before you know it. Anyone can do it I promise I always thought of myself as someone who didn't have the discipline to learn guitar.
As a tangent to this, I also really appreciate both Tank and Dean and other musicians being super transparent and upfront on a lot of the logistics and machinations of a tour involving a popular band. Dean's recent video (within the last few months of this comment) detailing all the logistics of their tour with Whitechapel was eye opening and brilliant and super appreciated also.
Amazing interview (finally had some time to watch it). Another example of a band member of a really heavy sounding band who seems to be a very wholesome and funny person. Wish some people who call every metalhead angry would just listen to this. :D
Hearing Dean explain how with every new release sets the bar higher while also narrowing down the options of things they can utilize in their new songs is interesting
How does this interview not have more views? Absolutely amazing interview and great flowing conversations. Just subscribed. Dean has been an incredible inspiration for my own guitar playing and watching his videos and listening to Archspire has really pushed me to practice harder and harder. The idea that a human being can be as skilled and as humble as Dean really makes me want to be better in every way.
I love these interviews. And this might be my favorite yet. Great chemistry. And I don't even know Archspire that well! I should go listen to some Archspire now.
This was a great interview. I subbed to your channel after seeing your very recent Archspire reaction, so having this interview with Dean was quite awesome to see. Keep on making great content.
I think the reason Dean searched out a negative comment is because that made all his hard work real. It would seem like a dream. All the positivity makes it seem like he was living in a fantasy. That negative comment was his anchor to reality. Dean's the man. Also, I'm a citizen psychiatrist.
I sadly never saw them live... Been following Archspire since 2012, like a year after their debut, All Shall Align came out. I can't wait for them to return to Germany, but with our Covid case amounts, that might take half a year to subside, before shows are safe again.
Thanks for another interview. I love watching these. I like the questions you ask better than most other actual "music news" sources. And thanks to Dean Lamb too. Also Tank, Eskimo Callboy jist announced US tour with a stop on Louisville, KY next November. I'll buy you a hotel room for you and your wife and some tickets if you want to come up and hang.
Just a human Bean... errr, I mean Dean. Love you both, cracked me up so many times and made me feel better about my day when it was goign shit and on top of that, we get tons of free info from musically formidable and knowledgable guys!
I can relate to the struggle of patch changes. Been learning an Opeth song lately and there are a couple patch changes back and forth. Sometimes I'll do an amazing run only for it to be completely ruined by my foot hitting the wrong button on my pedal board mid way.
Damn man. You are doing some great interviews lately 😁🤘 Would love to see you interview Stevic or Kin from twelve foot ninja in the future 👏 🤘 Great interview as always, Jesus I love how chill they always are and how knowledgeable your guests and yourself are :)
Still not in D-Metal, Queened, Eddied, Nightwished and never looked Back, although the whole work and Talent to create an Effort, which may or may not apreciated by the paying Audience is the Thing, what make me Kudo every Pro-Musician who dont do the Manowar move. Somehow exept the POP Kids, which are merely proud, when she they choose ther Outfit for Videos by Themself. And even they get more expiriencend and perhaps genuie Musicians. Your Interviews sometimes remember me of that, besides being really entertaining. thx for that
Playing along with the stems in your in-ears is an interesting concept, but wouldn't that remove the possibility of improv? like if you just wanna mess around and maybe play a part multiple times or just stray from the original song in any way? there were many concerts where my band and I felt like we wanna have fun and maybe play a song faster or just screw around to have fun
Not necessarily, but you'd have to build scenes into your tracks. A band I worked for had points where the tracks would cut out so they could improv and talk to the crowd and rip solos and stuff, and then the drum tech would usually trigger the tracks to count back in when they were done. But with these guys' setup, they'd have to do massive scene changes to then put all the inputs in their ears.
😎
Absolute pleasure having you on here, man! Thank you for such a great conversation. Don't ever shave your mustache. 😂
Guess I have to watch another 4 Levels of Death Metal now 😂
Relentless mutation, I was hooked.

I like the underground mini golf at castle fun park too

They told Dean "lmao get good" and he got good.
I’m admittedly not a musician of any kind lol. That being said, I absolutely love learning not only about the instruments but all the workings going on behind the band. Keep up the great work!
Thanks man!

And just like that, I've watched the whole thing. Dean is awesome. Tank is awesome. This idea was awesome.

Thank you for taking the time to watch! I appreciate it! And Dean really is one of the most humble people I've talked to. Absolutely awesome person.

Buckle up. Hahahahaha

That was a great interview Tank. Love watching talented people talk about music.
Props for Tank for putting additional Infos in the corner, really shows that it's made with passion;)

Ich hoffe, dass du richtig liegst
@@frankyeichler3303 War doch bisher zwei Mal so… Ab Mai/Juni waren die Zahlen sehr niedrig.
Thanks Tank and Dean for this wonderfull interview.
Another great interview. Keep on doing them. Especially all the stuff besides the "regular" music/song topics make them really interesting.
This was really interesting to watch - Thanks Tank and Dean!
Awesome interview Tank! Can’t imagine it was too hard 😎 Dean’s such a great dude. Keep up the great content Tank
Dude! You've got to get Entheos on, they just recently moved to Nashville! It'd be great.

I will most likely be at the Louisville show as it's closest to me, if I'm not at any of the other ones.
well this was a great interview tank! dean is super chill as always and the convo flowed so naturally. love to see it :)
How has this video only 6k views? Love Dean.
I love your energy in the intro
Loved this💜
Archspire are great, good interview.
Thank you!

This is exceptional! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK TANK🤘🤘🤘
Great interview/conversation once again :D Also I kinda feel like I should kick my butt to my music room and go practice now...
Hahaha. I've been playing my bass for the past 3 hours because of some of the things he said in this.
I found Archspire from their nomination at the Juno's in the Metal category. Good luck to Archspire.
I can relate to the struggle of patch changes. Been learning an Opeth song lately and there are a couple patch changes back and forth. Sometimes I'll do an amazing run only for it to be completely ruined by my foot hitting the wrong button on my pedal board mid way.
What a nice and intelligent guy 🤟
10:58 me who bought dean's sweeping lesson package.
Damn man. You are doing some great interviews lately 😁🤘

Man, that'd be a blast to have one of them on here!
@@TankTheTech I'm seriously going to try to make this happen 😂
Honestly would love it if it was kin interviewed by you!
Let me know how I can help make it happen, I'm seriously keen on an interview with yourself and TFN 👍
Can I take a little credit for this happening? 😅😅😂
Can't wait for this. 😁
Yes. Take all the credit. Haha
