    Are you wondering what the difference is between Sundays at Badlands Ranch and the food that's available for dogs on Sundays at your local pet store? In this video, we'll compare and contrast the two and give you our recommendation.
    Recap Of The Video:
    I'd recommend Sundays for any pet parents ready to give air dried dog food a go.
    Sundays For Dogs offer three recipes - beef, chicken and turkey, while Badlands Ranch have just two.
    Reading the list of ingredients for Sundays For Dogs and Badlands Ranch recipes, I recognised more ingredients in Sundays than Badlands Ranch.
    As I mentioned above, Sundays and Badlands Ranch offer elevated air dried food when compared to traditional kibble and neither brand uses additives or nasties.
    But I liked knowing I've eaten most of the ingredients in Sundays' recipes.
    I believe Sundays offers better value seeing as you can get a 1.13kg bag for $69.99 but Badlands Ranch charge $59.99 for a 680g bag.
    So you're getting almost double the amount of air dried dog food for $10 more.
    I felt like Sundays provided a more complete service when considering the packaging and level of detail in the information provided in my first delivery.
    In terms of Copper and Skye's verdict, it was close.
    They really enjoyed both Sundays and Badlands Ranch. I couldn't really notice much of a difference in terms of mealtime excitement.
    Having said that, I felt Sundays Food For Dogs beef recipe did appear to be their overall favourite.
    So based on recipe selection, price and mealtime excitement, my pick would be Sundays For Dogs.

    Interesting video. Badlands is $40 a pound. You could feed a dog real steak for less, including the supplements or fresh ingredients. My cats eat chicken thighs ($1.79 lb) or raw ground beef ($5.99 lb). I bought the powder supplement in January for $21. The jar is about half full in mid November.

      Best thing to do is just read up on what your dog needs and just buy it and feed it to your dog it’s simple but people are just lazy this is all you need to feed them beef meat as well as organ so heart and liver throw in fish as well then give them carrots, broccoli, sweet potato pumpkin and blueberries then get some marrow and grind up the bone into a powder and sprinkle it over the food that’s literally all they need to eat and they’ll be great

      @@DemonTime08 As long as the nutrients are balanced, it should be fine. Homemade pet food does require time and research. Cats have very different requirements. What I feed today is very different from six months ago. Happy Sardine Sunday!

    I have a 7 month old Giant Schnauzer, I feed him 4 cups a day, Sundays dog food would cost me 400.00 a month. That’s Ridiculous.

    I don’t really understand badlands pricing. 24 oz for their bigger bag. That’s 3 cups right? So if I have a 50 lb dog then one bag is good for a littler over one day? So $60 per day? Could someone clarify haha. That’s more expensive than any human eats on a regular basis. I don’t understand. Wouldn’t it be cheaper to feed raw diet and it helps their teeth when they are actually chewing and gnawing at their food.

    I ordered Badlands Rach on a Sat night, and immediately sent an email to cancel. The next morning I had to call only to find out that I could not cancel the order. I'll have to send the dog food back and pay for shipping. The reason I tried to cancel the order is because of a comment regarding the size. The bag is 25 ounces, Not pounds.

    Is the serving size based on the dry (dehydrated) food or the rehydrated food after water is added? So is it 1 cup of the dry food or 1 cup after it’s rehydrated and expanded?

    • @tagmmr
      @tagmmr 4 місяці тому

      You don’t rehydrate either. You feed it as the dry kibble texture.

    SUNDAYS has the worst customer service EVER. If you call the company, expect thirty to 40 minute wait times. They don't understand that Service is More Important than Product.

    I have to know how your dog's waste has been? My dog's waste is smaller and not as solid as it was on regular kibble. Is that a Badlands Ranch issue or an air-dryed dog food issue. My pup has been on Badlands for 3 weeks now.

    All good, except I hate buying from companies where they force you to take a survey and give them your info before they even show you the prices. And Sunday for dogs does that thing. I went into the link and got right off. I refuse to fall for that shit. It's annoying and companies will keep doing it if we allow them to.

    I thought that this was a decent comparison video.
    I had never heard of Sundays for Dogs, but have bought Badlands Ranch before...although I just use it as a "topper" for my dog's regular food due to the cost. I like the Badlands Ranch because of the Superfoods and vegetable balancing out the proteins. My dog is big, so purchasing as his only diet would be extremely cost prohibitive! Sundays for Dogs boasts that 90 percent meat vs the 87 percent of Badlands Ranch. Not much difference there, but honestly, at my dogs current exercise level...both are excessive in the protein department. For me, since I still have about 9 bags of Badlands Ranch, I will continue to use it as a topper for my dogs meals, but when I run out, for the cost savings, I will likely try Sundays for Dogs next. I think that both of these foods would offer something missing in even the Hill's Science Diet, or Purina Pro Plan diets...but on their own...for MY dog...the protein content is too high to use either one as a stand alone diet.
    Thanks for the comparison! I appreciate the effort and will eventually try Sundays for Dogs!

    Like the badlands reduces use of resources. Come on, we can use a utensil from our home to measure. I see that big, colorful Sunday box and think, waste!! And increased land fill! I wouldn’t buy it for that reason. You aren’t biased, even tho you are sponsored by Sundays? Hmm. 🤔

    It seems there was some information left out. Badlands is $59 one time, or if you subscribe with a free account it drops it down to $39. And if you buy in bulk you end up saving quite a bit. This sure makes it seem like your biased toward Sunday's and therefore isn't a fair review.

    What is in this food? My dog wouldn't even touch it. Talked to a neighbor, she experienced the same thing. It cost me $28.97 to ship it back for full credit. They could offer us a shipping label at their negotiated discounted rates.

    Sunday's for dogs is trash. They have never done feeding tests and they also even say in their nutrient statement it's meant for all dog life's. A food can not be the same for a puppy and an adult dog. They need different amounts of nutrients at different life stages.

  • @CowboyUp1371
    @CowboyUp1371 Місяць тому

    Sundays for dog is garbage. Just because a vet made it doesn't make it good. They try and say all the right things to market the food and sell an item. It's not actually good for your dog. They hope people blindly listen to nonsense without actually doing research.
