Mr Tommy is the real deal… I had the pleasure of watching him tip-toe in there and methodically figure these finicky fish out. Tommy V is a fantastic fisherman, a really nice guy and apparently a pretty good cook too! 0:15
I remember my mom frying the fish that way. She would make an egg wash but also dip it into mustard and boy it was good. Do you know if the peanut oil is better than the other oils?
Tommy you can use avocado oil to fry fish . It has a higher smoke point than olive oil but is still super healthy. Great video.

You are so informative we much appreciate it. The only thing you forgot was to tell me what time Supper was being served.
Great Video
I got a flounder in the freezer from grand isle last weekend. Gonna have to try frying it whole!
I fry my fish the same way, except I do sour cream and mustard 50/50 mix. it makes a beautiful brown crust.
Next time leave mustard off,try blue plate mayonnaise
Going to have to try the mustard and cutting the fillets in half to make them thinner.
