That Pearl has the water all messed up over here in the Slidell area too. The exception is Lake P. We have been dropping the hammer on some good specks 17-21” on the bridges when conditions are right. River will only get worse after all the rain comes down again in the next couple days. Croaker gotta season. I get em right off boat though and they don’t die. But if you keep ‘em overnight on o2 they gotta be seasoned.

Do you prefer hooking your croaker through the lip or tail? I’ve heard that fish have to eat croaker head first because of their gill flairs. Just curious to know what you think! Thanks

Mr.Tommy im from Texas and husband is from Houma. I used to wade fish in Boliver flats until hurricane screwed it up then moved to Houma then fished Last isle and surrounding areas. Your videos make me cry for the gulf coast fishing. Even though we live in Florida North Central CEDAR KEY would be place for fishing nothing like Texas. Im always going back and forth to Texas would love to stop in and go fishing with you. Im a 71 yr old married woman who loves fishing with somebody i can relate to. My family laughs at me everytime i pull up your videos🤣cause i say "you aint gonna believe what was on TOMMY VIDRINES CHANNEL TODAY" and they just laugh at me. Im so glad u found another great place to live i miss Houma and everything about Louisiana. But still fill my grocery list when i come back home🙏🤣🥰

Did you fish the rocks along the backside of the Island Caminada Bay? It looks like those rock on the Bay Side go on for a long ways from the bridge to Bayou Rigaud.

Great job finding them and getting them to bite. That’s a good spot in the spring. I’ve caught quite a few fish there also. Sometimes nothing but lady fish. Pretty sketchy getting close to it because it’s really shallow around it and between there and the island. When I first moved here in 2020 I was told to always fish the west side of the island.

Headed to Gulfport tomorrow morning gonna try it out right at day light free line some live shrimp and see what happens definitely gonna catch white trout if nothing else bites lol

The natz ate me up yesterday fished off the side of the seawall caught couple small reds but they got so bad they ran me off the water had about 50 swarm my face and I about jumped the water😭😂🤣 definitely gonna make a trip to Gulfport and launch from Long Beach got some nice fish and them white trout you get a box full 14 inch whites that’s definitely good!
