I think psychology is fascinating but I mostly chose it because I like to work with people and with words and it feels like it would fit me. I want to defend your dad for his CD collection because there are still so many albums that are not available streaming, and I say this as someone who collects Japanese and Korean pop/rock CDs alongside rare CDs, lol. Love this series of videos, and I legit just love seeing people's bookshelves, and the different collections. I need to rearrange my shelves to get to A-B Tier. I'm not going for S-tier because that's too much pressure.

I got rid of most of my books when my wife and I moved into our house last year. I'm rebuilding my collection with special editions of books I love and have influenced me as well as re-purchasing standards of some old favorites. I'm for sure entering once I have my library room finished in 10 years or so.

I have just watched all your shelf roasts back to back and oh boy I am itching to take action. I've been studying abroad for 18 months and only have been able to bring a small fraction of my book collection around with me. In that time I've also collected a fair few more books. My shelves at home needed sorting before I even went away, and my mum has recently bought me a new empty shelf knowing I would probably need it upon return, which is now in two weeks time. My family is going to be heartbroken when I finally walk back in the door, go straight past their loving faces and open arms, and instead run right to my bookshelves to give them the thorough organisation and love they deserve!

Regarding the "upside-down" books. I don't think this is particulary a fault of the reader, but more likely the publisher's fault for printing the name on the spine this way. When you look closely on 5:29 you can see logo of publisher being on the right side (the bottom of the spine vertically) of the book, meaning it is indeed layed down on the "correct" side in line with other book's spines.

Hey man i still buy cds and vinyls because way too often songs i like are removed from online platforms. Unless atlas sends a hit squad after me they arent getting my persona 4 sound track even though they take videos of them down all the time and you cant find them anywhere else.
