Maybe a tier list of your favourite bookshelf ‘tropes’? Like your favourite features of a bookshelf to the most revolting objects that would make you detest the person who built it immediately.
Maybe a roast of people’s non-fantasy reading choices? Most readers dabble in multiple genres, it’d be fun to see you roast people’s secondary book choices.
Me too, but I already know I would get so roasted. The only thing really speaking for me is the fact that my bookshelf was made by my grandfather. And that's not much.
I really hope the guy with the dune collection goes full religious zealout with it. And always has a copy with him and never misses an opportunity to give a copy to someone to spread the word.
The answer to your question is yes. The posture of the doll/cat was a deliberate choice, more of existential dread and the inability to do anything about the impending fiery heat-death of the universe but hey death also works
Personally, if I sent in my pitiful bookcase for a roast, then I would at least leave my laptop open in the picture, showing my subscription to Daniel's channel for possible bonus points.
Maybe try roasting people's TBR pile or favorite books list? I love this series but I can understand wanting to keep it fresh~ Hope you continue to do bookshelf roasts every once in a while.
It would be cool to see like a "battle of the fandoms" style bookshelf roast. A lot of people seem to have themes so maybe have like "One Piece vs Cosmere" bookshelf battles or something like that. Either way I love this series and will be here to watch it in whatever form it takes. Thanks Daniel !
*Video Idea* Maybe issue specific bookshelf challenges and you pick the best of the submissions? Like: submit a bookshelf that uses a lot of lighting or uses lighting in a cool way. Or: submit a bookshelf that has a lot of color. Basically, "if you have a bookshelf in X style, submit it, and I will pick the best, rank them, or whatever".
Thank you for roasting my shelves 😂. I’m the girl with the dune bookends! I’ll definitely send a picture in when I get new shelves and can actually re organize my books with all the nicknacks I have!

Inspired by the shelves at 3:05, if you need to ✨spice✨ up the book roasts, just start playing match maker with the submission- decide peoples romantic destiny off of bookshelf vibes alone
Love all the roasts! So the 'Dinosaur Skull with D&D dice' are my wife's shelves. 'Action Barby' is Squirrel Girl. Thanks for the cool shelves and good laughs.
I do love these shelf roasts, and have submitted my bookshelf to a couple of them. I understand if you're getting bored of doing these, perhaps taking a break and roasting something else bookish related will be a good idea and a nice change in pace! :) (Though I do hope you'll come back to roasting bookshelves one day because I still haven't seen your reaction to my long furby, Adam. He guards my bookshelf from angry gremlins and is paid for his work in teeth and praise.) Loved the video, and I even spotted some new books to read from those shelves~
I have an idea for a bookroast. Do the ones found in movies and TV shows, like the huge library of Castlevania, Beauty and the Beast and ATLA, etc. Could even be a tier list vid
My daughter gets a stack of books from the library every week, but still has her 'I'll be re-reading this series several times' bookshelves. I'm not sure if you've covered local little free library locations, but for those looking to swap books, there is an app to help locate them in your neighborhood. It looks like your viewers are a good resource for book swapping.
Also, the one you said just looks like a generic fantasy shelf is literally from a bookstore; it looks identical to the Waterstones near my house, even down to the black shelves😂😂
Yeah I do try to change it up a bit but it is a bit generic 😅😂But I love my shelves! They are filled with books I love to read, my SO do say I need to make it more persona tho but I really like the Library aesthetic

My cat chews all my books so they're currently hidden in different parts of the house. It's surprisingly hard to find a bookshelf with doors or glass to keep the contents safe.

The string shelf is a masterpiece of engineering and possibly the only proof that God exists
Checkmate, atheists. 😂😂😂
The books on the shelf where in German so the engineering part is kind of a given
Do you even Newton, bro?
That shelf holds together because the creator believes that it will. If that belief ever falters the whole thing will collapse into a pile of sticks.
they also have great taste in books

This is what I do with Assassin's Apprentice. I almost never leave without a copy. I've almost given away 50 copies. At 46 now lol
