What i loved about your videos is the way of explaining everything in order and details without giving a headache hahaha. A lot of UA-camrs go so much in details and make me bored but you are so good. Thank you so much for saving me a lot of money. I used to pay 100$ to remove extensions and 300$ to install them. Not anymore 🥰💃🏼❤️

SO glad I found you! I get a headache from clip ins and just recently decided to try tape ins. I love them!! However, I did not realize how strong that glue is and really appreciate your tips as I am flying blind.

Quite honestly the removal is something I dreaded each time and probably a part of the reason I was “able” to leave them in as long as I was. Lol. Be PATIENT! The longer they are in the easier they are to remove and if you are planning to reuse them, the LESS product you use to remove them the better. Good luck! Glad you are here!

I really enjoyed your videos on installation and removal of your tape ins. I have been paying the big bucks at the salon and I wish I had the confidence to to it myself. I love how they look on me as my own hair has always been very fine and thin. Its always a shock when they are removed and moved up, and I am trying hard to not damage my hair with a lot of heat and styling. I'll try the collagen. Thank you so much for your good advice and honest opinions about hair extensions.

Pls discuss about washing extensions while wearing it, and conditioner used when it becomes frizzy, I have less hair on my head, I used clip extensions, hair toppers (clip ons) but they actually are painful. So I feel having tape ins would be better. Will use my first tape in extensions in few days once it arrives.
Also, affordable tape in extensions if you know (I’m a student so I won’t be able to afford very costly products). And thank you very much for your videos ❤.

Thank you for this! Just be careful taking the extensions out without loosening the adhesive first.. you can permanently damage your scalp. (You can permanently damage your scalp anyway using tape-ins.)

Absolutely perfect advice. I actually stopped using them a couple years ago once I got my hair to grow again!!!

@BrookieRush given your first video on how to put them in, I was shocked when you said you don't use them anymore in your removal video! 😆
When I personally removed my first set, my hair was super thin. So much so that I thought I had damaged my scalp. However, my hair is naturally thin and brittle, and I lost a lot of hair from covid (I had bald spots all over my head). Now that it's been a few months, my scalp and hair are fine, and I plan to continue using the tape-ins. I long for the day that I have a natural full, thick head of hair. Sadly, those days are not in my future (genetics!).
      Thanks again!!

@@JeanneEdelman-gr5ox well I made the discovery that diet soda was a HUGE culprit in how thin and brittle my hair had been for YEARS! Once I quit (I struggled to, I was addicted at up to 18 cans PER DAY!!) and started collagen, everything changed with my hair.

For some reason the strip of adhesive comes off of the weft when i pull them apart from my hair. This makes removing the adhesive sticker from my actual hair such a pain... any idea why the adhesive comes off onto my hair instead of staying in the weft when removing?

    • @BrookieRush
      @BrookieRush  2 роки тому +2

I hope you get this analogy; you know when you eat Alaskan crab legs and most of the pieces are hard to get out but every once in a while you get one giant whole piece of amazing crab meat?! Yeah. I get that same feeling when the tape adhesive stays on the weft and not in my hair. Unfortunately the longer you leave them in the more the adhesive will “melt” and goo into your hair from the oils on your scalp. There is no trick to that, unfortunately. I use melted coconut oil and leave on like a conditioner for about an hour and then take a fine tooth comb and gently pull what’s left out BEFORE trying to wash.

How do I apply single tapes for thinner fine hair?

    • @BrookieRush

Hey! I’m sorry I’m just seeing this! It’s actually super easy. Watch my DIY installation video here
      ua-cam.com/video/S9FA7kqyjdE/v-deo.html
All you do is skip the step where you flip it up and apply the second piece to sandwich the hair! So essentially, you place the first piece onto the hair and just press!
