  • We had the opportunity to take our adventure bikes to the Gold Butte National Monument near Mesquite, Nevada in March 2023. Having lived in Las Vegas and now living in northern Utah, I've traveled through Mesquite probably hundreds of times and had never heard of Gold Butte until a friend mentioned it to me. I watched a few UA-cam videos, mapped out a route in Gaia GPS, recruited a few friends and headed out for a spring adventure where we were just wanting to get out of the record snowfall of Utah for a spell. What we found was beyond our expectations.
The video is rather lengthy but was done so intentionally. My hope was to create more of a moto adventure documentary for those hoping to visit Gold Butte than it was to create a short adventure video for pure entertainment value. At the very end of the video (25:45) I actually display a Gaia GPS map of the route that we took and talk about the key points of the route. If you have any questions, post a comment, and I'll be happy to reply.
