- This video is about treatment for Gas and GI Statis and steps you can take if your vet is closed.I talk about the difference between gas and GI Statis. You should always take your rabbit to a vet if you suspect a problem and if your rabbit has not eaten in 12 hours.This will give you some tips of things you can do in the precious time before you can get to the vet and give you information so you can be prepared to ask your vet questions. Always speak to your vet in advance and do not force feed your rabbit.

Thank you so much. My little buck just all of a sudden stopped eating a few hours ago. He ALWAYS eats his greens but he wouldn’t touch them and our vet isn’t open right now. I do have most of the stuff you mentioned but they were for another bunny that had GI Stasis a lot and the measurements are for weight…for my boy to have something wrong is rare.
I'm so sorry about your bunny. If you have baby gas drops that doesn't matter for any weight. I really hope he feels better!
@@TheBunnyDojo thank you. He started eating after I gave him some type of critical care (the fine yellow powder) I had leftover for my other bunny. After he ate that he started to groom himself and then he started eating hay. So I’m assuming he had gas. Thank you again for the advice.

Hi I’m from India my bunny is not eating and vet is closed any homemade syringe feed I can give him maybe from celery or anything else
@@aaoreviewkarein5324 do you have pellets? You can crush them up and syringe feed.
