After 4 months I finally got everything I needed to get Aurene's Bite. I just got it 20 minutes ago!!! The only reason it took so long was because I got all the materials myself and the antique summoning stones take months to get. If there wasn't a weekly limit on it I would have gotten it in half the time

Every map have an achievement "lightning the XX map" which require you to turn on every jade lantern on the map. Once it's done it reward you the "map completion" rewards once again. And this can be done more than once (I believe it is an infinite repeat but not sure). So it's very helpful for the craft. Lanterns are only available once the map has been completed by the character.

Nice guide. Very helpful. Here's an added tip - Mystic Clovers can also be gained by completing the Death to the Corrupted or Death to the Dominion repeatable achievements found under Jormag Rising. This also applies to the repeatable achievements Glory to the Iron Legion, Glory to the Ash Legion and Glory to the Blood Legion found under No Quarter. I farm the Drizzlewood Coast meta regularly and usually receive 2 Mystic Clovers each day if running at least one full meta.

i have been playing since HoT came out and i never knew you could salvage ecto's XD and i have never tried to either XD the luck part was the thing putting me off from making my aurene pistol but now i am totally gonna make it for my harbinger / thief and engi :D
"These legendaries are supposed to be more affordable than the first generation ones, and easier to make, so that players can experience the legendary armory feature. This is also the reason why all legendaries are part of a set, instead of unique in their own way. . . . Anyway, here, have a timed currency that takes you either 20 weeks (or 12, if you are clearing what's currently the hardest meta event in the game once every day consistently), or 2000g on average to get (which is probably never gonna go down, since the meta gives like NO rewards at all aside from this one currency and is hard to beat". Like I love the game and what Anet's doing with it, but seriously, getting ONE antique summoning stone per day (if you beat EoD; good luck with that until people get a grip on the mechanics and maps start not depending on a commander giving calls 24/7), and 5 weekly, feels like it's TOO slow. Players with endgame content access can usually craft a T1 legendary every two weeks (or even less) in a regular basis. To balance this out, either make every EoD map have it's meta have this as an option to select in the chest, or raise the weekly limit (and do it hard. Like 25 a week hard). I get that giving players the chance to craft a legendary weapon every 4 weeks (just weapons, though) might feel like a bit much, but the rest of the materials are more or less expensive on their own, and it would make much more sense for the legendary armory's existence. At the end of the day, legendaries are just QoL upgrades for ascended equipment, so that you can change builds in the spur of a moment, yet it's still way less troubling to just farm T4 for two weeks (or even less, if you are lucky) to have a full set of equipment (armor and all) than to craft these. Heck, it's even less troubling and cheap to craft the T1 ones, and those are way more unique than the new ones. AND fashion wars is the true reason why people were crafting leggies in the first place, so these are already not filling the role they were created for (being accessible). TL;DR: I am ranting cause the new leggies are way too expensive (and will continue to be due to time gated materials being required) when they were supposed to be more accessible than the rest.
You can also buy 10 mystic clovers a week from the raid vendor in lions' arch aerodrome. Very cheap method. Edit: you can also buy ascended salvage kits from the raid vendor.
Great guide! I see crafting these legendaries is much easier than I thought! Any advice on what kind of weapon would be best for someone that aims to have one character for each class (with a focus on support builds) as a first legendary weapon? (Currently working on legendary jewelry, but wouldn't want to waste my free precursor)
Look at the weapons which are used the most in meta builds on Metabattle and such, or simply make a weapon which is used by the most classes, like Staff or Greatsword. Avoid off hand weapons though or the ones you cannot dual-wield, at least at first. Only make those who are two handed or which you can dual-wield, if you are on a budget. But metas are rotating anyway, so maybe just craft one you really like and try to accommodate a build around it, if you have no set preference on any class or specialization.
@@HummingbirdSound Thank you! The meta is unstable right now with all the nerfs and new elite specs, but I'll keep an eye out :D The leggo weapon I'll craft from this will be my only one for a long while, since I'm also saving for my raid armor, so there's no rush :)

The gift of battle is so hard to get, I can never find a commander online when I play so im forced to just run around the map just killing stuff, I don’t think I can capture anything by myself
No, don't give up. This is for making a legendary which is not "needed" for anything. Making a simple ascended version of the same weapon will give you the same level of stats and is much much easier to get. That is the great thing about GW2, it is accessible to everyone with minimal "grind" to get top-tier gear. All the rest is unnecessary "bling" (like the weapon in this video) which is just intended to keep people playing and having fun. Legendary gear and everything in the cash shop is just bling or convenience items - nothing that will give you a competitive advantage.
@@funnyvideos-funnyoutloud2618 as said AJ, legendary weapon is only for the skin & some more convenient bonus. But you have the same stats as ascended gear, that is very easy & fast to get :) Dont give up really !

Yes You need the Aurene Legendary first :) then they will add thé skin, and you will need this Aurene Legendary + to make a small achievement to unlock this new skin :)
How hard is it compared to 2nd gen legendary? I'm new, i tried to craft 2nd gen legendary but i haven't finish HoT mastery yet 😂. And yeah haven't play eod either, just bought it yesterday.

Another thing to note: if you wait the 20 weeks, and do the Gift of Battle reward track, you'll get 37 Clovers for free through login rewards.
2 mystic clovers per day? Absolute fucking cap man. You get maybe 1/4th-1/2 through a reward track at best if you do a whole day of meta.
