OGT (a duo made up of musicians and producers Edgar Muzah and Mthokozisi Mabuza) is determined to remind the world to start living again post lockdown using this feel good single sampled from the song My Hero by Matshikos which was released in 1996.
The duo’s song merges nostalgic qualities from the timeless sample while evoking a head bop with its bouncy bass line accompanied by subtle synth countermelodies and energetic sounds. “As music festivals and club dance floors are filling up again with smiling faces, it is starting to feel like the summer vibes we know and love. This song will be the soundtrack of bright lights and good times” says OGT.
Intent on making listeners feel the 2022 summer like no other, OGT features rappers Epic the Scriptwriter and Sir David as well as the beautiful vocals of Dani.
