Yes, full-auto is illegal in the UK also; it's a major criminal offence to possess such a gun. Tampering with any gun to convert it to full-auto means a stiff jail term in the UK.

ive had this gun for a lil minute i ordered it off a private seller on ebay named my audio empire and it shipped to queens nyc very suprisingly its ana amazing heavy heavy gun requires some lubing on the cocking mechanism magazine c02 pneumatic its quite loud shoots very well and accurate
My M712 shoots very high (about 3 inches) even at 15 yards and the sight adjusted to lowest elevation. However it is centered. The barrel also wiggles, mainly up and down which may account for this. If you get creative you can fix that. Excellent gun for the value. Im stocking up on this beauty.

Theres a small screw on the bottom of the barrel, and it doesnt come super tight, so just take a really small screwdriver and tighten it, same problem with me brotha

4:44 you report 36 shots per air cylinder, that is not very economical compared to my Crossman Vigilante @ around 80 to 100 rounds per cylinder, depending on amount of air loss per installment.

36 ROUNDS PER CO2 CARTRIDGE? That's only TWO mags worth. Hell my Crossman 1600 with 17 shot capacity gave at least 4 or 5 reloads and that was 30 years ago.
It looks like when it's firing in 'full auto' that it's just slam-firing and not using a disconnector. This is disappointing and responsible for the insane rate of fire and excessive gas consumption. If the slide was permitted to go fully home before the hammer was released it would slow down and be much more efficient with the gas. The hammer is just following the slide down now which forces the gas system to stop both slide and hammer on their forward movement vs just blowing the slide rearward after firing like in semi-auto.
warning this gun is no fun on semi auto, click it on to full auto and that one second blast will make you smile. i wish they would have made the ammo clip separate to slide up into the magazine somehow where you could have 3-4 mags ready to reload quickly. it's a paain to reload but that qiuck blast makes it worth it.
this pistol is REALY STARTING TO PISS ME OFF! The first one had to have the barrel shroud screw located under the barrel, tightined then lock tight had to be used to keep it from jiggling loose while firing, the next problem was full auto fire, no matter where the selector switch was set on. Now when I try to shoot the danm thing the magazine pops out. Now I gotta send it back. WHAT A PAIN IN A ASS THIS IS!!!!!

I also ordered the stock holster for the broomhandle metal parts from Sarco to make my own holster stock. you can also get a leather holster from..... www.replicadungeon.com/us-mauser-holster.html .........it would be nice if umerex would come up with a sturdy plastic version though as some of these stocks and gear can run in the hundreds of $$$$ if you get real or replica ones.

Sorta...? The "Red 9" pistols are Mauser C96s that have been chambered in 9mm parabellum, and are fed with stripper clips. The M712 is Mauser's answer to the Beistegui Hermanos MM31 pistols, which were essentially copies of the Mauser C96, but with detachable magazines, and full auto capabilities. These were sold primarily to the Chinese during the civil wars in the 1920s and 1930s.
Not one comment on how bloody difficult and tedious reloading is. Painstaking. Annoying. Is there no way to quickly reload? One BB at a time? Are you serious?? I took this thing out and shot two mags before deciding it was just too much trouble. Especially reloading out in the field. Unless I'm missing something obvious (the owners' manual was oblique on this point), I find this reloading issue to be a fatal flaw. Unless, of course, one purchases several mags and preloads. What a pain!
Didn't know Capello was in this or I wouldn't have watched it. I stopped drinking that guys Kool Aide years ago. His typical product review...."I really can't find any negative things to say about it (the pistol.)" He's supposed to be an "expert," and he can't come up with a single negative aspect of the pistol? The guy is a complete joke. I wonder if he even remembers the first time he sold out.

I just bought the same model M712 Mauser by Umerex...I have all the German replica's by Umerex now. The MP40 is awesome!

I was watching you shoot and it looks like the barrel was moving up and down.Can you tighten up the barrel and get better groups when shooting auto?
I was going to purchase one but reading about barrels falling off, etc- changed my mind.
Theres a small screw on the bottom of the barrel, and it doesnt come super tight, so just take a really small screwdriver and tighten it, same problem with me brotha

I would think 2.75 pounds weight would be a negative. 360 fps also seems a bit slow, but the blow-back action probably uses much of the fps energy.

36 shots per co2 seems a little low..... I think with the PPK blowback, I was getting close to 175 shots per co2 cartridge...
It's low compared to what? The PPK is not full auto. This is a optional DUMP gun that takes no prisoners!.

There is a way to reload it quicker, all you need is an airsoft bb speedloader. Sorry for replying this a year late.
