Liked your vídeo! Had pretty much the same impression---and difficulties---that you had, mostly with loading the BBs and forgetting to unlock the spring. It's a beautiful piece, definitely, but I guess they could do something to improve the magazine. BTW, shot mine with an actual Mauser C96 wooden stock. It fit perfectly
Awesome, great to know about the fitment! I also love this piece. Glad to hear from another Airgun enthusiast. Please consider subscribing to my channel lots of more Airguns to review and many more videos to come, be safe and keep shooting friend!
there are those plastic gadgets called BB speadloader they are used in airsoft to load 6mm plastic BBs into similar magazines for machine guns and gas pistols. I ordered one but it came wrong size for .177 cal it coast 4$ from ali tried it on my umarex MP40 (shimaizer) kind of OK much better than loading with hand ofcourse. and this way you dont keep your mag loaded couse the sprngs of my mp40 is crappy left it for 2-3 weeks under presssure and then didnt push the bbs all the way up not that i cannot open the mag and add a washer at the end of the spring or some spacer to increase tension. Nice video !
I completely agree, would help accuracy but let’s face it, that’s not what we’re concerned with when we buy this thing! lol. Thanks for the comment. Stay safe and keep shooting friend.
I hope you have better luck with it than I did. The magazine catched failed after the 5th magazine. After that the mag would fall out without warning while shooting.
Sorry to hear that, Ive shot mine probably 30 times or so it’s holding up pretty good, sucks to get a bad one, I got a bad sig P320 not long ago would jam up just about every time I shot it. Unfortunately it happens occasionally. Hope it doesn’t deter you from adding others to your collection. I have many and will be posting many more videos of co2 pistols, pcp air rifles, big bore Airguns, it’s my favorite hobby. Stay safe and keep shooting!
Get some K&S brass or aluminum tubing that is the same diameter as .177 cal/4.5mm and cut the tubing to a length that will hold one reload for the M712 magazine and use them as speed loaders. Plug one end with epoxy or hammer it flat and either store them upright or find some sort of plastic or rubber cap (carburetor vacuum caps are a good idea) for each tube. Done.
zu Lwowitz Ever since I receive a M 712 from Umarex about 4,000 BBs ago , I was wandering about the claim of 360 FPS (on the box and everywhere ) since the couple of ‘wandering BBs at the beginning of my shooting escapades went clearly through the 1.5 inch wooden door at our bathroom . This feet couldn’t be reproduced by my other airgun SA 10 which claims a FPS of 430 - 440 . Both guns produce , at best , the same FPS -----shooting 5.4 gr steel Daisy BBs ( my SA 10 doesn’t like pellets of any kind or fashion )-----as futher velocity tests done with the same external condition ( including the time ) have shown . My contention is that FPS-----as one , if not the most , important stats for the customers-----should be taken much more seriously. The difference of almost 100 FPS shown above is clearly impossible to swallow and , thus , all reviewers ( including this one ) should start with chrono test . I believe that a lot of expensive misunderstanding could be thus avoided .
Have you ever used a drozd black bird there perty rare now but there a blast moded to shoot they have a 1000 round BB mag and shoot about 4000rounds a min the thing shreds can in seconds hooks up to a. Hpa tank it's the king of full auto air gun pumpkin carving is super fun and it sounds insane definitely a must check out 💯🎯👍👌✌️🍻🤯

It’s a shame this thing won’t fire pellets.

The CO2 might last longer in warmer weather. Interesting replica.
shooting in cold weather eats the gas.
