Hi Kulas thanks for sharing your adventures. I’m from olongapo and my mom is from San Antonio so happy to see a glimpse of my hometown. Power on Kulas and kumander daot!
Nice to see you guys doing Central Luzon. It might not be the best time of the year for it but maybe you'll do something on the Saud Beach area of Pagudpud one day. Perhaps my wife and I will meet you if you're traveling through the City of San Fernando, Pampanga in the future.
Well perhaps not the entire place, but there IS an area there, in the camping grounds beside the lake that is full of what I think are a type of pine tree, that does looks like a popular lake in NZ. Check out the video I sent in your Community post to see it.
Subic town is in Zambales like Olongapo City but the capital is Iba. Subic Bay is Freeport Zone and parts of it are in Subic, Olongapo and 2 towns of Bataan, Hermosa and Morong.
to be fair, the lake and upper reaches of the river remind me of a place here in NZ called Paradise, i think youre right, a lot of filipinos dont realise that the Philippines has beauty of its own,
Lake Mapanwrpe was formed during the Pinatubo eruption when the whole mining site BCI-DIZON mines in Barangay Pili, San Marcelino Zambales sank beneath the lahar and lava flow. All the houses and the church are underwater now. The cross on the church belfry is the only thing visible of that mining community.
The sand has pumice in it. When it's wet it is grey and when the sand is dry it turns white. We call it white sand and it is used throughout Luzon in concrete production. Power On.
That’s a really cool Barangay. So clean, even the lake. See what a good governance can do for people? I long suggested that Subic(my hometown) should provide trash cans all over the town and collect their garbage often. Discipline people to care more for the environment and keep everything clean and stop people from throwing their garbage in the river or the roads.
Hi Kulas! Subic Bay Freeport Zone is our home municipality right now! SBMA is Subic Bay Municipal Authority and is owned and operated by the Philippine government. It is separate from Olongapo City. You cross the river then you are in Olongapo city!
Bro kulas and Mr. Daot that’s the House of President Ramon Magsaysay., go for more adventure in Zambales you can find more good places there. The capitol is in IBA Zambales and we have also mango festival summer time April. I am from Zambales too thats why its more fun in Zambales😎. Visit mount pinatubo, nagsasa cove or just search more places while on the way to sta. Cruz zambales.
Thanks for your video & We are watching from Metro Manila, Philippines. Assalamu alaikom ( means peace be with you ) ( maanaa kanimo Ang kalinaw ) - is the Muslim greetings in the whole world for all Nationalities , Races and Tribes.
If you guys are still in the area, visit liwliwa at san Felipe. And the 4 coves of san Antonio. Anawangin, talisayin. Nagsasa and silanguin. Take care guys.
You can scooter in Lahar going to Mapanuepe Lake . Botolan has the biggest Lahar desert . He is right that SBMA like Clark , Nuvali , Alabang are the most livable places to live in the country .
The Subic Bay Freeport Zone is separate from Olongapo and Morong. It’s not even covered by one province. Governed by the chairman of the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority. It even has its own zip code 2222

ahhh I was a little confused... was thinking of ginormous turtles :D

Been to Olongapo when the US navy still active , It's like USA !
a lot of USA similarities for sure
There’s a story about a Sambali and an American understand each other.
Finally you found a place where pilipino obey the traffic light lol.
Actually the snake turtle in my province is invasive species most of us kill this kind of turtles because they ate fish especially in the fish ponds.
