My grandmother , who lived to be 103, had an album of Elvis singing gospel songs back in the 70-80s. I don't think she even knew who Elvis was. It amazed me. His gospel songs have so much depth to them. They are amazing! When my father died, I had a pastor who played the violin. We had him play it at my father's funeral. Nothing more beautiful than "Amazing Grace."

there comes a point when you look at somebody's body of work as a whole and it's not just about the 20 number had or the fact that he has close to 40 top 10 hits or the fact that he's won 3 Grammy's 4 gospel music or the fact that he was nominated 14 times or not even the fact that he was the first ever crossover artist ever. it's when you listen to how he was able to sing every different style and form of music and do it at another level that I've never seen anyone else accomplish when you look at all of that it's clear to see and to say that he is the best.
My Father passed away somewhat unexpectedly on 12/08/2021. My Dad is my hero and my heart is absolutely shattered without him. This song helps me to feel. God bless you Dad and all who knew you.
You’re not alone. Asbestos cancer took my dad, my best friend 7 years ago. We both were truckers. Not team. He had his 18 wheeler and I had mine and we travelled the USA together.
