Even if it was a proper resurface (which it was not, the grinder stone shrinks as it grinds) the plate is still thin after the "repair" a more important it is still cracked.

As a machinist, I see a few issues. The first one is the lack of safety glasses. The second one is over tightening the clutch as it can cause premature wear on the jaws and other internal parts. Lastly, trying to hold the pressure plate or brake rotors using the chuck jaws will not ensure a continuous even cut. The vibration and harmonics of cutting will cause unwanted movement in your work piece. A piece of rubber strapping or anything to absorb the vibration around the device will help somewhat but not eliminate it. Andy 🇨🇦

They should be rotary ground with a cup style wheel, which would leave a finish similar to a Blanchard ground surface. This is a really rough way to do it (speaking figuratively), but it obviously works, and you have to appreciate the ingenuity.

the problem with using a grinder for facing all the clutch is that grinding stone is constantly shrinking so your cut comes out at a slight angle

There are no dial indicators in Pakistan - any instruments that have needles in them are considered Haram - against Islamic Policies.
