И что потом? Это, как скотчем примотать турбину самолета к крылу. Держится вроде, попробуй полетай теперь. Кругом дураки такие сидят. На заводах по изготовлению шин тоже не идиоты. @@marshalkindo you honestly think they're doing this because they're trying to cut corners instead of ordering a new one off of tire rack or something? You sir / madam are a complete and utter tool...
This is sheer necessity as there is no access / availability for a new tire thus making do with what is in hand. Pure craftsmanship & ingenuity...
Furthermore I'd wager a new one of these tires is well over $1,000 if not five times that much. Which the driver would not be able to afford, again making do with what is available...

This is a Great Idea and skills Lost . This man is doing a great service for ones, that don't have a lot of money for a new tire. The Side wall's of these big tires do not have the Pressure that the Tread has. I have a large Tractor Tire with a tear this size, and plan to stitch it with Kevlar, which is about the strongest twine available. I would like to find that Peal and Stick Rubber Roll, but so far haven't found it yet. I have a boot on order and Industrial cement for the inside. Old Tire Repair shop's used to vulcanize with rubber strips, and a heat cap that was lit, which heated the underside. This Man has developed a similar way to vulcanize, by using a crude, but effective under the tire heat. Thanks for good old people that still will work. I'am 80, but still can move about to get things done. Any comments will be apreaciated. Thanks

I have ordered from a supplier called Acme Rubber in the past when doing repairs on tires like this. You should email them and inquire as to whether they'd sell you a smaller quantity. They typically do wholesale, but if you ask nicely, they're willing to ship out smaller amounts for a small fee.

I suggest you think about this. The side wall is what holds up the tire. All the air pressure is looking for the weakest point to get out and that bandaide is where is going to go. It’ll blow like a balloon. Maybe not right away or even a little while. When it fails, it’s going to blow and jolt what ever you’re driving.

For sure it's not a road used tire
It might be use for a shovel truck working off road in a crusher area or building site or so. Even the shovel truck wiil not move in a long distance range in the site. It will stay working in the same area loading or unloading
So it's not for road speeding purposes so I think it's safe

So long as no one is hurt by a rapid decompression, it is simply an annoyance getting the earth mover/truck/whatever machinery uses this tire out and into the repair shop on just three wheels.
A tire like this would be around $2500 USD, so even if refurbishing it means more safety precautions must be taken on the jobsite, it is still worth it to repair and use until it's worn out.

This is a wonderful demonstration of museum restoration of ancient artefacts. That tire probably is stiff and crumbly, but in the hands of an octogenarian it is re-made into a whole new museum piece.

The patch is still really sketchy given how monstrous the initial sidewall hole was, but this is easily the best Pakistani industrial tire repair I've seen on UA-cam.
From the cross-hatched stitch to the quick cement tread mold. It visually looks pretty good

Really depends on the use case. Tires this large (usually) have notably lower psi requirements. Shit, looking at his repair, it wouldn't surprise me if something inches outside the fix-it site gave out first. The U.S. may have regulatory benefits, but it's just one of the many things that ensures competition is a matter of capital.

A tire of that size is probably around $5000 usd mounted and balanced. They are super expensive....which is why it's better to pay a man like this a few hundred dollars for a repair instead of the cost of a new tire. Some tires and machines that work in mines go for as much as $50000 per tire. It's insane and a fookin very large tire lol

The carcass does not exist on an small place and you can't replace layers of steel weaving, with some thick cotton thread. They are'nt even vulcanizing the damaged spot correctly. This grandpa is making a sort of emergency repair, that is use AND brainless, because U can never use force on this tire again, let alone on the tread of the profile. I understand, that being poor is everything they have there, but this result is for the ass.
