Seems fine enough to me if you have no family, having some buddies over, 2-3 friends during the weekends, do your job during weekdays. Although you could probably better off just paying a mortgage for a house instead of financing a truck which costs at least 200.000 dollars.
Philipp H. I mean yeah it all depends on individual circumstances no doubt. It’s about wisdom and long term economical profits and purpose. I can definitely see an independent business owner/operator investing in such a set up. And not to mention that many trucking companies allow the driver’s spouses (significant others) to accompany them during their travels. Having a happy spouse treated like a queen on your treks makes for a happy truck driver nonetheless...it’s my overall take on the topic.

Same as, they are automated manual trans, still has a clutch. Well, European auto trucks are, on third one so far, 1.6 million km in first one, broke first time at 1.3 million for a new clutch plate, but not really broken because computer told you to stop an change clutch in a 1000k, second one was still going strong at 800k when I got my new one, now even better gear change than before, 385k so far, not a single missed, or stalled gear. ( sometimes the old boxes would not set off if you didn't completely stop rolling).
just pull a 48fter. All you need. 53s only add a pallet and the new 60fters add another pallet. HEB Grocery uses the 60s on daycabs for store deliveries.
That thing has a separate toilet and shower, that is freaking awesome. Really awesome truck, I wonder who the Trucker that owns this beast is. This truck has more things than a New York apartment.
How do truckers feel about custom-/extended-sleepers like this? Excessive, or much needed? I'm thinking of getting my CDL. If I do, I'd refuse to do long-haul without a truck like this. Honestly, don't know how these trucks arent more commonplace
Hi Steve, I hear the Aussie built Kenworth C510 can pull a 300ton payload with only 1950 ft lbs torque and a combination mass of 450 tons. They can only travel at 46 miles per hr at that weight though
So what does one of these normally go for on the second hand truck market? I want to move to the US when I'm 30 and would love to have a job that pays me to travel(i.e Truck driver or Greyhound Bus Driver). One of these rigs would be perfect for what I'm after!
Hey Corey; I'm pretty sure that's the best offer he's had today! And, with that many weekly payments, you'll have it paid off by the time you're 87 years old, assuming you're 21 today. Love your sense of humor, man!
Corey Butler don't laugh he might take you up on that, the first owner probably found out how useless that truck is In the real world of trucking and figured out how much money by he wasted buying that thing, too heavy, too much fuel consumption, and frankly the interior is not that attractive to me, seems a lot smaller inside then from looking from the outside, I've seen better well configured 96, and 102 inch sleepers. good luck unloading that thing Steve...

@Hello Eddie Lane how are you doing
@@lydiacapps709 I am fine thanks.
@@eddielane9569 ok i hope we can get to know each other if you don’t mind

Dealer: So you want a truck?
Him: No!
Dealer: So what do you exactly want?
Him: Yes!
Combination, baby! That’s what I want and ima get!
That’s basically what this truck is
Dude I thought that was brand new AWESOME CONDITION
If you carry around an apartment in the back, doesn't it reduce the length of trailer you are legally allowed?
it can
just pull a 48fter. All you need. 53s only add a pallet and the new 60fters add another pallet. HEB Grocery uses the 60s on daycabs for store deliveries.
felixthemaster1 can’t drive w a 53 in Ca
Rollo Lawson You get my point. Dont need to explain further.
@@brandoncaldwell95 I guess you live in Texas. I used to live there. Now I live in the north east
That thing has a separate toilet and shower, that is freaking awesome. Really awesome truck, I wonder who the Trucker that owns this beast is. This truck has more things than a New York apartment.
This makes me want to be a trucker.... freakin sick!
This thing is nicer than my house!
thanks
That's a super nice truck and apartment.
I don't really see that many of them out
and about when I'm filming the trucks.
so get a mortgage to buy this sleeper no need for a house.then get a job as a truck driver, spend off days parked at a caravan park.
What kind of life is that
@@sevenhazee not a stagnant humdrum one.
Whatever makes you happy.
KC Hose but by the time the truck is paid off it’s depreciated to 25% or less than you paid for it. A house will go up in value
KC Hose
BINGO!!!!
How do truckers feel about custom-/extended-sleepers like this? Excessive, or much needed?
I'm thinking of getting my CDL. If I do, I'd refuse to do long-haul without a truck like this. Honestly, don't know how these trucks arent more commonplace
great review man
I have been around those trucks growing up and, wow!!! Completely blown away
Thanks so much
EveryThing Blind Justin dale Pippin. Call me. Love. Dad. Funny
What's your problem?
Watched my first Peterbilt Steve video and it's about a kenworth!???
ouch
Same

Hi Steve, I hear the Aussie built Kenworth C510 can pull a 300ton payload with only 1950 ft lbs torque and a combination mass of 450 tons. They can only travel at 46 miles per hr at that weight though
So what does one of these normally go for on the second hand truck market? I want to move to the US when I'm 30 and would love to have a job that pays me to travel(i.e Truck driver or Greyhound Bus Driver). One of these rigs would be perfect for what I'm after!
This one sold for $230k used
@Hello Nick Higgins how are you doing
Idk why this was recommended or why I clicked on the video but aye dope truck
6:39 thank me later
Thank you, lol
Seriously, the video begins here
Thank you
No
Ok o watched the video. Thanks. (He said thank him later soooooo.)
How does 1% down and 3500 payments of $49.99 strike you my good sir?
Hey Corey; I'm pretty sure that's the best offer he's had today! And, with that many weekly payments, you'll have it paid off by the time you're 87 years old, assuming you're 21 today. Love your sense of humor, man!
I'll beat that! I'll do 3500 $55.99
Corey Butler don't laugh he might take you up on that, the first owner probably found out how useless that truck is In the real world of trucking and figured out how much money by he wasted buying that thing, too heavy, too much fuel consumption, and frankly the interior is not that attractive to me, seems a lot smaller inside then from looking from the outside, I've seen better well configured 96, and 102 inch sleepers. good luck unloading that thing Steve...
Arthur Duda yeah it sure looks cool but i could imagine all the difficulties
Corey Butler .
Because of the added condo weight and extras... how many lbs can you legally haul yet with this beauty?
I dont recall
Beautiful truck Great description as always. I have been inside one of those trucks and it's huge
Thanks 👍
Shoot that's bigger then my first apartment
Heck, it's bigger than my last house.
Me too,wth!
and costs more than my house
nathan galloway than*
It's the size of my first apartment, five times as nice, and more than 100 years newer. Lol.
Beautiful truck! Be safe out there with all the crazy drivers!
I had to watch 8 stinkin ads on this video. 2 at the start. Then two in the middle somewhere then when i tried to rewind to the middle it triggered the two ads again. So i got it back to the start and it made me watch those again! I know more about shit I dont care about than the damn truck now!!! So glad UA-cam has gone to shit now.. so wonderful.
Y’all got recommended I actually searched for it
Thank you sir!
What would the price be for a rig like this 300k plus I would assume the w900l itself costs a pretty bit.
This sold used for 240k
from the very nice blue colour 2000s style to oh my god 70s brown inside
Muchas felicidades a la compañía kenworth.son el ejemplo de trailers muy poderosos. Y elegantes.saludos de Tijuana b c.

@@pitbulltrucker783 good thanks for asking I hope we can get to know each other if you don’t mind
In europe you you couldnt legally tow anything behind that truck because its already to long... Lol gotta love the US sometimes.
I love it every day
T0BBi94 Makes sense, most European roads are already to cramp and small for a truck like this to squeeze by.
true but compare the interieur, the US Trucks are stuck in mid 1950...
@@HIIMUsc and their isn't anything wrong with that. 'Merica!
cmarbormaster i mean i have nothing against it, but if you would‘ve been a Truck driver here you would probably like the European Truck (interieurs) more, have a nice day!

sold for 209k
Ok Peterbilt Steve first you told Armaan khan that it sold for 229k, NOW your saying 209k!! What gives?
It's important when you travel, especially if you travel often, to make sure that you are in the heaviest possible vehicle. The more barrels burned per mile the better, that is how you can be sure that you are a true VIP and planetary friend!
Wow that’s a nice RV!!

Hahaha get errrrr done
This is when a semi becomes a rolling apartment 😂
yep
That truck is BAD ASS!!!!
You are literally king of the fuckin road in that BAD BOY
dam that's a huge cab
she big
Damn, if I had one of these when I was driving I'd probably never left truck driving.
I been driving for 20 years and still can’t see how you can make money with that thing on the road... I’ve only seen a handful of trucks like that pulling a trailer in all my years.
I see them mostly in army bases. Maybe armys transportation pay rolls must be very nice.
You're right, I hardly see them pulling trailers.
Karson Kalabo YEAH, maybe D.O.T. will stop digging deeper into our pockets... Electronic logs are the biggest insult to the industry I’ve ever seen. Maybe we should deliver their Starbucks and amazon coffee ONLY DURING BUSINESS HOURS... Then the world will make sense to a bunch of desk jockey college fomo’s...
It's bigger and better than our apartment 😧😁♥️. Very nice.
OMG l had no idea..beautiful
I need to start looking at truckers..😀
i work at the facility in denton texas we produce the cabinets in the cab
You can put 3 driver in it and keep it running on road for a week without stop
(Of course if fuel is enough)
It's has a 24 hour fuel capacity fyi.
This is nicer than any apartment I've ever lived in.....
