I feel like Polyphia are just meme lords and I love it. Every Time I listen and that build comes i get ready for some kind of drop or solo....then back to main riff but not complaining.
The fact it isn’t instantly re-listenable is probably the biggest compliment to the vibe they were going given an OD isn’t something you want to jump back into after going through.
@@bruhthecatman6594 me too. An OD as well. Quickly went and shoved three heroins into my arm. No one could ever listen to this without three heroins in their arm. Take that BRO dylan!
There fact that it was a lot to take in made it more relistenable. Instead of feeling like it’s nothing new and I’ve heard all of it already, it got better and better each time I listened to it. I’ve been listening to polyphia songs without getting sick of them longer than anything else now
I really don't understand the "too much to take in" criticism. They have a very easy to understand motif and hook that's used as a punchline frequently enough to get the idea of the song. This is my first song of theirs I've listened to and its the one I frequently go back to.
love your reactions especially with this type of track dood, keep it up. Also polyphia only had jason tour with them on their first headliner lmao, altho im sure theyre good friends, I'm guessing their darker influence is coming more from the trap/soundcloud wave theyve been fuckn wit
Having seen so many reactions to Polyphia now, I think I finally understand what makes them so great. Restraint. I'm not kidding. It sounds weird, but as absolutely balls to the wall INSANE as Polyphia is when it comes to technical chops, they still show a characteristic restraint that sets them back from nearly every other prog rock band in the world. SO many of their songs don't actually go NEARLY as hard as they possibly could, and yet crowds will mosh to slower, "vibey" songs that would not elicit the same kind of reaction from ANY other band.
5:56... How would you as a Music lover ( trained and a Great guitarist as I have Watched your videos ) as I am a basic musician ( who has had some college music theory courses ) NOT listen to this Over and Over after you discover this song after Loving G.O.A.T. ... An Anomaly for Sure. I hum this shit Internally at work and Bob my forehead
Am I the only one who finds this similar to an Eminem song? I can’t exactly remember the song, but I’m sure Eminem had something similar… I could be wrong
Polyphia is KILLING it with these new tracks!
Nik Nocturnal i totally agree with you its a sick track
Overdose
Don't you mean Polypholy?
Od aka Okay Dude by policedfillet
"Yass bitch, OWN that harmonic minor" - The single most nerdy thing I've ever heard a musician say
also kinda sus if you're not a music nerd

"just good vibes man"
video has a noose passing by
xd
Memeboy44 i noticed that too😂😂
That riff did have sum good vibes tho
See? Just good vibes
"I'm thinking O.D. means overdrive" Oh Nick.... You sweet, innocent boy...
Don't know what you mean that what my friend went to the hospital he overdrived lol
It means Only Dicks
You guitar idiot boy
The "over" he got right.
it actually means 'right eye' (Oculus Dextrus). Tim explained in one of his videos.
Tim and Scott are always good but the clays shine on this one.
^^^^^^
It's Clay season
Clay Aeschliman will go down in history as one of the greatest drummers to ever live.
Needs more time to say that
agreed man, he plays so different to 99% of other modern metal/rock drummer, dude is innovating like crazy
They're on that Danny Elfman gypsy jazz shit. Hell yeah.
Lmao exactly!
OD actually means Oculus Dexter, I think it's Latin for "right eye" or something.
The Clay’s went crazy with the rhythm and convo between drums and bass. The bass and the drums make it for me on every song
I feel like Polyphia are just meme lords and I love it. Every Time I listen and that build comes i get ready for some kind of drop or solo....then back to main riff but not complaining.
Live how Nik just goes "good vibes maaaaan" while there's a noose in the middle of the room
It's for some reason so satisfying to see someone react to Polyphia the way I do literally every time I listen to them xD
The fact it isn’t instantly re-listenable is probably the biggest compliment to the vibe they were going given an OD isn’t something you want to jump back into after going through.
Ever since I listened to this the first it's been on insta-repeat nonstop.
@@bruhthecatman6594 me too. An OD as well. Quickly went and shoved three heroins into my arm. No one could ever listen to this without three heroins in their arm. Take that BRO dylan!

YES Ive been waiting for this video since I saw the music video.
YUS
O.D, maybe means Overdose! We're waiting for a cover, Nik!!
2:49, when you're pumped about the hype, but the chorus isn't your type, Polyphia. XD
MY FAVORITE SONG OF POLYPHIA! 🔥
I love what there doing with these tracks. So smooth. You gotta try and colab with there drummer.
I'd love to!
Their rhythm section sounds like an 808 became sentient
The bass lines are incredible jesus
Song: Has bass solo
Anyone: “What the fuck is happening”
I want an O.D. - J.T. "Cry Me a River" mashup real bad now
Nah O.D obviously means pewdiepie
Te iba a pasar el canal pero ya pa que xDDD
You, couldnt be more wrong. The more i listen to this, the better it gets.
I see polyphia=instant click.
This better be your next cover.
David Nwokoye He dont like covering polyphia
josh ball why
polyphia=rip fingers
David Nwokoye its probably too hard to nail it one take for a video
josh ball there's two ways around that. Multiple clips or practice the fuck out of it.
Please react to the lesser known tunes on this record! Drown, Death Note, Nasty
that riff is catchy af
You should check out the new Beyond Creation tracks, I really like Algorythm, talk about some amazing bass playing!
I really don't understand the "too much to take in" criticism. They have a very easy to understand motif and hook that's used as a punchline frequently enough to get the idea of the song.
This is my first song of theirs I've listened to and its the one I frequently go back to.
Nik could you react to Toska's new track Congress? Its a Beast track🔥🔥🔥
0:57 Anyone notice that they just recycled this riff from G.O.A.T?
I'll check it out!
bassline tone makes me wanna get better speakers
Why did nik look sm happier 3 years ago.
Haha your reactions are exactly like us fans'. I am swaying the same way all the time while listening to Polyphia.

Me putting it on loop
react to CHON pls, everybody wants it
I think O.D. may be my fave polyphia track of all time
Please do Ice Nine Kills next, both new songs are pretty much equally good
I covered both of them already :)
Don't wanna slam your name and all but I can't help but notice that the sun's out...
I was feelin’ the way you were feelin’ this song so hard.
I don't know if you know yet! But Crown the Empire shared a moment of your reaction to 20/20 in their twitter timeline :D
Aha yeah I saw!
It stands for overdose

Polyphia reminds me of early noughties Venetian Snares
2:41 @Nik Nocturnal the WHOLE song is a solo! :D
“Yaaass bitch, own that harmonic minor!” Aaaand im subscribed
*GROOVE*
GR0000VA
"Own that harmonic minor".... Slavery is never ok Nick. No matter how well the kid can sing.
Hey Bro, Could you do a lesson on how Polyphia composes music. Specially in the new Album "New Levels New Devils"
Never listen to them before this video, now I have to
:D
If you haven't heard of Intervals, you gotta check them out too
You should check out Napoleon!
Nik: "Yeah, give me the solo. Give me this sh*t"
The whole song: "Am I a joke for u dude?"
I think it is overdose as you were saying it is a lot to take in once so you get overdosed with the song
A Polyphia video! Quick, nobody move!
When your hook is basically a full-band solo
yeah. wouldve been perfect if they didnt do the main riff again at the end
Please react to Dogma by Earthists. They are underrated af.
Please in the next align the wall with the edge of vid, please.
Nik, you need to listen to Yohei Kimura new album, he is a youtuber just like you.
Not something I'll visit over and over again? I beg to differ
I challenge you to write a song the way they do.
Lol he’s wrong. I’m still listening to this on repeat even three years later.
Enjoy your taylor swift! Lmao legit no hate to Polyphia. Great writing and composition. The Clays freaking wrecked it, as did Tim and Scott.
Am I the only one who finds this similar to an Eminem song? I can’t exactly remember the song, but I’m sure Eminem had something similar… I could be wrong
Overdose
there are a lot of eyes on this video so i guess O.D. stands for Oculus Dexter?
guys we have an answer everyone stop thinking
Jeff T dexter or dextrus is the same
Are you high
Calls it "over drive" and at the end give an exact description of what an over dose could be musically speaking
I thought O.D meant "Overdone". As in so much more than it needed to be but just a great show of their talent as musicians. Just my take
This song is the definition of "mean".
Sees all video spinning what the fuck is happning
It's official
Polyphia loves animals 😂😂 Goose, owls, goats, frogs!! Oh my gosh lol
joann smith “Animals as Polyphia”
GOAT overdosing
GOAT is a great song but this one is better ngl
oculus dexter lol not overdrive
yeah too much listen to this track might causing O.D dude. hehhe
React to seraphim- belial pleassseee
Please do a reaction on Congress by toska! Great video as always!!
Lmao at 1:29 "wtf is happening"

Cool!
Will I listen again? No.
Top notch musicians tho. Hands down. Great job!
i’m thinking overdose not overdrive. u know. like ur overdosing on awesome shredz
Yea for me this song kinda felt hard to head bang to
React to Between The Buried And Me white walls
Oh, wow, okay...I honestly wasn't expecting this lol, never heard of Polyphia before, is this common for them?
Oh, nvm I didn't realize they did G.O.A.T
Yo you’ve had three years where’s the cover lol
I don't know much about the band, but the song reminds me slightly of Dream Theater
OD: Optical Density
Just sayin

OD? Must be about the cranberries vocalist.
So much cringe😂😂
It's sooooo good until you realize they can't do it live. Then it's like fuuuuuuuck...
