FPQC Mother-Focused Care Initiative: Physician Leadership in Respectful Maternity Care (RMC)

FPQC Mother-Focused Care (MFC) Initiative teams have shown substantial improvement in RMC education and commitment for nurses. However, teams have requested more support as they identify strategies to engage physicians in RMC.
Learning Objectives:
• Recognize how experiences of respect and disrespect in OB units impact both patients and clinical teams
• Address the specific challenges of providing education to physicians, nurse-midwives, and nurses
• Illustrate how on-demand trainings can be married with experiential trainings
