Thanks for watching! And the woke mind virus strikes again: I did say/label the lug width as 20mm, but I meant 22mm. Thanks to those who pointed this out
Oh, love this! The grey, the gilt, the orange tip of the second hand, perfect! I guess the in indentations of the bezel/bezel insert help to align it properly. But you're right, the bracelet's a throwaway. If it was my watch it would live on an aftermarket bracelet from the likes of Long Island Watch or Strapcode.
Great shout, mate - and I guess that's another plus to getting an Orient or a Seiko etc. Plenty of great aftermarket options!
Great review 👏🏼👏🏼
Spinnaker Fleuss and San Martin Sand Dune dial GMT, both way under $500, and dials are killer!
Those are Chinese junk watches … some people don’t realize that Spinnaker is right out of Hong Kong. Chinese QC is a complete roll of the dice & online reviews confirm that objectively.
@@krasnaludek298 I know what they aea, I own both and both are great.
@@krasnaludek298 😂
Hands down my favorite offering from the Epson Group for under $500. I especially like the white dial. Great review as always!
It would be a dream for them to finally come out with a 38mm version of this watch. EVERYBODY wants it but for some reason we still don’t have one yet. Also Just a correction, the lug width is 22mm on this watch not 20
How is this $180 watch priced that high? I can find Ray 2 and Mako 2 for well under $250 on Amazon.
Love an Orient diver. Canny beat it
Great review Pip 🙏
My first one, mate, and I was suitably impressed!
The dial is class
Good video sir
Idk I've been looking hard at the new Henry archer nordso neon iii. It's not a color for everyone but many it sure looks good to me at $499.99 but at this moment it's almost sold out.
Orient is very underated, everybody prefer seiko with a part of snobism i think,i own 2 orient who are realy good,an old orient power reserve buy auround 2005, and the super king reissue who all youtuber destroy as a garbage,i adore the super king, not expensive, very good quality, very old fashion, difficult to apreciate if your never live in third world,in poor country it was a luxury watch,i like this watch and orient globaly
There is a list of Aliexpress watches that are technically better, along with brands such as Helm, Axios and Zelos etc. I had Kamasu and it was incredibly average, with a poor bracelet & clasp, and a rubbish bezel. I do prefer Orient movements to Seiko, as they generally arrive with better regulation. I presently have an Orient Star which is excellent, albeit not cheap
Lug width is 22mm
Good point! 😅think I’ve got into too much of a habit of saying 20mm…not just in a watch context either
@@LumePip Yeah, I noticed it as I've had 6 and still got 4 Orient divers. 20mm? I'm jealous
@@urbanfrit this was my first go of an Orient and I was really pleasantly surprised! 🤣🤣🤣
@@LumePip My first automatic was an Orient Ray I, it cost me £79 new in 2015, I couldn't afford an SKX at £120!
It looks like it's been run over by a train but it still keeps good time
You didn’t say “so, as your mom said-let’s get into it”..🤷🏼♂️🤔. I am worried 😉
Specifications dictate a watch must to have 30atms or 300meters of water resistance to qualify as a diving watch everything else’s is a kids toy. I’m a diving instructor (over 30 years) and 200 meters is for snorkelling take it down to 20meters and it will leak, I’ve had it happen. Orient is to Seiko what Tudor is to Rolex.
A little bit of a fatty, this Orient. 😅 No, I am not a ha ter. I own three Orient watches and like them. I am just not a fan of high watches and also not a fan of this kind of day date complication. 🕐⚙️🍸
Grade habe ich mir einen Orient 20 anniversy selbst geschenkt 😊nr.793 aus 3000 und ich liebe ihn 😁
