    Currently i am following intermittent fasting from close to 100 days and have lost good amount of fat. I am 33 yrs, 5.7 height and was 72 kgs, now i am around 63kgs.
    My day goes like this:
    1. Morning 8:30 AM, first thing i take is turmeric and very very small quantity of Neem for cleaning my colon (Take care of Neem consumption as it might affect sperm cells)
    2. Morning 9:30 AM, i take warm water with Honey and (lime if available)
    3. Morning 10:30 AM, I have my fruits meal, usually 2 varieties of fruits (pomegranate with orange, Red banana with papaya, Muskmelon, half water melon), If only one fruit available then I have additionally millet kanji
    4. Lunch around 2 PM, I have my boiled pearl millet or Foxtail millet or any millet available with raw vegetables like carrot, beetroot and any poriyal, Sambar preferably vegetable or dal made at home
    5. Have dinner by 6:15-6:45 PM (Usually prefer boiled or raw foods like soaked peanuts, banana, Millet kanji, sprouts, sweet potatoes boiled, raw coconut, idly)
    6. Brush my teeth and take a room temperature water/ normal water for bath around 10:30 PM.
    7. Do meditation for 15 mins before going to sleep.
    Note:
    1. Make sure to chew 24 times on every bite. This takes off much load on digestion in our stomach
    2. Drink water 30 min before meal or 1 hour after meal.
    Things I have gave up for better state of body and mind so far,
    1. Non-Veg (I love Mutton biriyani especially seeraga samba biryani, Rabbit meat, duck and Kadai)
    2. Shawarma, sweets, salt and milk products
    3. Most of the oil cooked foods
    4. On Ekadashi, I only consume fruit diet for morning and lunch meals and finish my dinner with millet kanji.
    Things that i have lot of opportunities to work this year,
    1. Give up on Fish meat that i consume 2 meals every week (Wednesday and Sunday Lunch meal - Exception on fullmoon, newmoon, sangata chathurthi, pradhosham, kirthikai, shashti)
    2. Go to sleep by 10 PM and wake up at 4:00 AM
    3. Perform early mediation and learn Surya namasakaram and perform at 6 AM
    4. Do not judge and react on people and rather listen and respond
    5. Learn to accept things as it is than trying to get things done perfect or as per your ideas and thoughts. Definitely express your ideas and thoughts but not enforce
    6. Feel inclusive as we all human beings, animals, birds and insects are all one in this earth
    7. Thoughts will always come, try to live in present time, not curse or feel for past guilt or afraid of future. Learn from the past think about the future, but do not live in the past or future.
    8. We are mortal in this world. Thank every morning to the creator and living beings around us for one more day to live and experience life in this planet.
    Note: I am on learning spiritual aspects of life and thus the list is big. I am sharing this as atleast one point might help one of us.

    Hi Dr. Pal you have certainly made a huge difference in both me and my husband's life. Your humour based message is easily digestible. Thank you. My husband is the one who recommended your videos to me and we both started doing 16 hours fasting and 8 hours eating window since 1 Jan 2022. We have achieved it thus far and it's been 1 month now. The difference we experience is tremendous. We both have lost 2-3kg each for this month. And we certainly feel very energetic and light.

    Happy New Year Doctor. I am following TRF since 9 months. I am 67 yrs ( female). There is lot of overall improvement in my health. I haven't checked my weight before and now. But getting lot of compliments from people seeing me ,say that I have reduced. Thank you. Now even my husband joined me and he has lost belly fat fast just in 3 months. Will follow what you said in this video. God bless you.

    Dr. Pal, Happy new year to you and all followers here.
    I started my real weight loss challenge from October 2020 and followed strict diet and walking 5000 steps/day until April 2021 and came down from 105kgs to 84kgs. After that due to job loss and change of job and location I was not able to follow the schedule strictly. Hence thought of maintaining my weight. Mostly succeeded with 86 as my current weight. I started my second cycle of my journey from yesterday. The same balanced diet with 5000 steps walk/day and workouts would be increased gradually, but for one addition would be going into a TRE/( 12 hr eating window) , would go for 7pm to 7am for a month to start with. I will have to bring down my weight from 86kg to 70kg. Expecting similar videos and advice to keep us rightly motivated. Thankyou.

I've shared my complete Diabetes reversal (Hb A1C down from 13.1 to 4.7) and weight loss (23 kg) journey within 5 months, with you on email, and how your video ""WHEN" you eat matters more than WHAT you eat!", played a huge part in this. I'm now 23 kgs slimmer, completely free of diabetes and full of energy, able to run a 5k in 38 minutes, which wasn't possible even in a dream for me earlier.     Thank you Doctor for your valuable advice in losing weight and tummy. I am committed to losing 6 kgs of weight and bring my weight down to 55. The steps that I will be taking in that direction are as follows:
    1) I will eat right and will avoid sugar, oil, butter cheese etc.
    2) Will follow the restricted eating window.
    3) will go on a brisk walk for 45 minutes on all days as far as possible.
    I hope I will be able to achieve my goal and report back to you by the end of the year.
    I am really glad that you are addressing the obesity issue faced by many through your videos and I am sure you will be able to get more and more people to lose weight and lead a more healthy lifestyle. Thanks very much.

    Iam 63 yrs old. I happened to see your video only now.
    I started to follow 15:9 hrs fasting. For the first two weeks I was very much scared if my stomach would come out of my mouth.
    But i managed with medication from the local medical shop.
    Now during my third week, iam so safe that i got released from my stomach problems.
    I was 70 kgs. Now in the third week, iam 68.5kgs.
    Gradually loosing 0.5 kgs. Per week. Now iam so happy.
    I have planned to continue the same. Reducing 0.5 kg every week and drag and stop it at 60 kg
    Now I have confidence that i could achieve it.
    07.00am vara coffee w/o milk and sugar.
    10am 300 ml sathumaavu kanji
    1100 am any one fruit with 150 ml milk
    01.30 usual indian lunch with vegetables and 150gms of rice
    04 pm milk or coffee with fruits
    0700pm 2 chappatis Or dosa Or vegetable upma.
    First 2 weeks I used to have milk with the dinner. But another channel warned that taking milk with dinner would be calculated as two dinners. I was afraid and cut off that milk also.
    Now I feel comfortable with my intakes and got safe from my stomach issues.
    I swear that I would continue and reach my goal at the earliest reach.

    Two weeks back when I checked my weight. To my surprise 🎉 I have lost 8 kg 🎉
    This has only happened because I followed the fasting window of 12 hours nearly for 3-4 months continuously.
    When My family, friends and neighbours noticed this drastic change in me they asked and I told them about your channel.
    It's really effective and worth it.
    Just a matter of patience and endurance. We can achieve our goal.

      @@ranginisivaprakasam9662 I eat my dinner at 7:00 pm and then next day morning I have my breakfast at 9:00am. In the beginning it was difficult but gradually I could.
      You too can do it. I would say give it a try and definitely you ll succeed.

      Hi doctor… have started my intermittent fasting last week. But I don’t know whether I’m doing it the right way. I’m 66 yrs old lady and I’m 5.2 ft. My weight is always around 64 kg to 63 kg. Twelve years ago my weight was 78kg. I don’t take breakfast. So I start my morning with one glass of hot water around 8am. Then I start doing my QiGong exercises for an hour. I start my food intake at 1pm with rice and mostly vegetarian side dishes. Then at 4pm I take biscuits or bun if only I’m hungry if not my window is closed. In the night before bedtime I take a cup of camomile tea to have a good sleep as I use to suffer from anxiety. I’ll be coming to US in May to visit my son and family in Livermore … hope I can meet up with you to show my appreciation. You’re a wonderful person helping all of us. Thank you so much🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

    I want to get back to my exercise routine of min 6 hrs a week and follow a healthy diet.
    Plan of Action: 1. Walking routine in the morning

    First thing to do: Starting Wednesday after dropping my son in school , I will walk back home which is approx 2.5km and cycle for

    Thanks for everything you do Dr Pal. You’ve inspired me. I’m in! Appreciate your passion and service. I don’t know how this is humanly possible but I’ve gained 7 lbs in this past 2 weeks. Feel sad about it. I wonder how long it’s going to take me to shed these pounds.

    I'm following the 8 to 8 and have lost 9 lbs in 9 in so far - I started this back in late summer and at certain occasions eaten before the 8a.m and after 8 pm - but for my new years I decided to more strict about the 12 fasting and number of days a week then I had been.. Promise !

      Decrease 1 hour from dinner time and follow for 6 weeks. Gradually, you can adjust to ideal eating time 10 am to 6 pm. Take healthy and fiber rich foods with minimum 1200 and maximum 1800 calories

    Truly inspirational and I really enjoyed your video. I don't understand your movie jokes but they make me smile regardless. My goals are i) get to 10st by summer, ii) stop eating comfort food, iii) not to take extra top up food at the end of family dinner - my excuse is that I dont want to waste food.
