did you find any brace that would work? I'm struggling to get enough pressure with tape, I can stop the clicking by pushing the fib head with my thumb though
classic osteopathy is based on the mobilization of the head of the fibula to establish the direction of the subluxation. This is no longer my case, because I think it is a very bad test. Of course, I am criticized for this opinion. In my eBook and associated video, I explain how I do it. Since then, for difficult cases, I have found shortcuts that I teach to my trainees and that I will perhaps reveal one day.
So you know how you were touching that little bone that sticks out the side of the leg and is under the knee, I got kneed right under there on the side of my leg and now it feels like sore, would you happen to know what it is?
Were you able to find out what happened? I got direct contact playing soccer under the little bone as well. During the moment it hurt so bad and made my leg weak but after a few minutes I could walk a little but I was limping. 2 weeks later I can walk and run but there are certain moments where I put weight on my leg and I feel achy, as well as when I move my knee in circles really fast it tends to ache a little too. It also aches when I bend my knee all the way. What could it be?
hello, without examining you, I would be an imposter to offer you a diagnosis and especially the appropriate treatment. I am sure there is a good manual therapist near you...
diagnose the direction of the fibular head subluxation, so the bandage in reverse: it's too difficult to describe, hence the video and the eBook on the knee ...and training
I can push the fibular head backwards and stop the clicking, but I can't keep it there when I tape it, when I tape it the clicking returns, what can I do? anyone any tips?
if there is a click, and the tape is in the right direction, consider reducing a subluxation of the posterior horn of the lateral meniscus, frequently associated
Wow, after 4 years I've only just found out pushing the fib head backwards stops it. Unreal, thank you!
Hello! So Glad I found this. Any chance you could provide a link to a brace you would recommend for the stabilization of my fibular?
unfortunately, as a physician, I think I'm not allowed to promote brands

If i can mobilize the superior fibular head anteriorly but not posteriorly, which sublaxation do I have?

yes, and the diagnosis requires a clinical examination. I made a movie just about it :

What's the difference between taping it backward/forward.. how would I know which direction to tape it?
