- Yo welcome back! In this POV street photography video, we hit the city with the Sony a7iv and Sony FE 50mm 1.8 prime lens pairing. I'm using the DJI Osmo Action 3, set up on a chest mount, so you can follow along with me on a morning walk as I capture some people, buildings, street art and more.
I'd never normally grab the budget 50mm lens when heading into the city to take photos, but on this occasion I felt like sticking to one focal length and seeing if the limitations of no zoom could work just as well for street photography. The so called best budget lens held up well, what do you think?

As a street photographer who isnt known yet. I understand about the invasion of privacy and im the same way when go out and about. Shooting in new york is cool but point your camera in the wrong direction, it will lead to a bad altercation lol.

Thanks so much!! - yeah it definitely builds up the confidence if you start off shooting people form behind or far away! - I have silent mode on whenever I am close enough that I think it might alert people, I sometimes get bad coloured banding down the images if I’m inside or near bright lights, so try to keep it turned off as much as possible!

tips how to nail the eyes i have this kens and a7iv i keep missing focus of eyes any settings i need to adjust?thanks
Turn on eye tracking and make sure your subject is set to human. If they’re close enough to the camera it will always lock onto the eyes. Your chosen Aperture will also effect how sharp the focus on the eyes are as I’m sure you already know but just incase!
