As someone who is medically obese (35.6 BMI at 300lbs and 6'5), I have never seen so much delusion from a group of people before. I'm finally breaking out of my old habits and I'm working out now which is amazing I'm loving it so far :). but it's actually insane how people think being obese is healthy. My take on fat acceptance: being fat shouldn’t be encouraged. But that’s no excuse to bully fat people. If you’re a friend or family member of a fat person, be kind to them, but also encourage them to exercise. Make exercising and eating healthily fun for them. Also don’t enable unhealthy eating by taking them to a fast food place or be like one of those grandmas who forces a second portion on their plate.

My partner and I both got fat from binge eating all the nasty shit we could get our hands on. It was great, definitely gross though. Over the months we got fat really fast and, wouldn't ya know it, stretch marks appeared on our sides and underarms. It really was fun getting fat. We eat healthier and are losing weight together now. You don't have to always be alone to get high or alone to get sober.

I’m a very overweight guy and I hate this whole “fat acceptance” thing. I know I’m in horrible shape. I’m sick of hearing the term “fat phobic”. Yes, there are people who physically cannot lose weight due to illness, but most overweight people are not like that, they’re simply too lazy to change diet or exercise. Yes, I also fall into this category but at least I’m aware of it.

My take on fat acceptance: being fat shouldn’t be encouraged. But that’s no excuse to bully fat people. If you’re a friend or family member of a fat person, be kind to them, but also encourage them to exercise. Make exercising and eating healthily fun for them. Also don’t enable unhealthy eating by taking them to a fast food place or be like one of those grandmas who forces a second portion on their plate.

My partner and I both got fat from binge eating all the nasty shit we could get our hands on. It was great, definitely gross though. Over the months we got fat really fast and, wouldn't ya know it, stretch marks appeared on our sides and underarms. It really was fun getting fat. We eat healthier and are losing weight together now. You don't have to always be alone to get high or alone to get sober.
