I started using Olaplex about 5 months ago on my afro ethnic 3b/c hair and it is the absolute best! My hair always grew almost to waist but stopped years ago and was super dry/frizzy, I think due to abuse from chemical relaxers and hot curling irons. I went all natural and used Olaplex, now it grows an inch per month sometimes more (measured). I just reordered for the limited time 250ML no3, Olaplex website presented option to pay with the Amazon store card which is very nice & convenient.
Advice to all of u: Olaplex N.3 is not suppose to make ur hair shiny or soft, it’s supposed to make it healthier so it doesn’t fall off or become brittle
I think people expect their hair to feel like they put a deep conditioning mask on it, but you're right, it works deeper than that. I think it makes my hair feel somewhat softer but only because healthier hair usually feels softer.
It doesn’t do this either. My hair continued to break off in chunks for the last 2 months despite using olaplex 0, 3, 5, and 6 many many times. It doesn’t actually stop breakage. scam af
Christy-MiyukiItachi no one expected a miracle in a bottle. I expected some breakage prevention which I got none of with olaplex. Only now that I’ve been using Ions olaplex dupe is my hair finally starting to get better and grow little by little.
I just got the no6 and no7 and they smell incredible and really have made a difference in my hair when drying/straightening. I wish all salons followed this entire process but usually when I ask for olaplex they only include the no1 in the bleach and don't do steps 2/4/5.

I can use 1 and 2, because they are rinsed and shampooed out, but not the others. I wish all product companies would use less fragrant formulas or remove the perfumes altogether. Hello Danielle, Wow, what a beautifully detailed video for us DYI scared beginners that would rather do our own hair at home. I was wondering! I receive by mail each month a shampoo & conditioner from Rome that I have been using forever, which leaves my hair absolutely weightless & super soft. Yeah but how often will you bleach your hair? no 1/2 will last a loooong time. It's really only 3/4/5 you'll go through the quickest. no6/7 will last ages as well as you use small amounts. Worth the money to ensure your hair is as damage free as possible.
Love the Olaplex line! Also, Love Sephora for offering a mini size for shampoo and conditioner to offset some of the price till you see how you like it! Olaplex no 3 was my 1st choice & can't believe the wonderful change it made in my salt & pepper, 67 year old wiry & frizzy hair! So smooth & healthy & had movement like never before!! The longer you leave no. 3 on, the better for your hair, and I left mine on for 2 hours! Now I have just purchased Olaplex no7 and what a thrill to see difference that made! Soo soft & smooth! So, I can't wait to purchase the whole system! Olaplex has brought back the pleasure of having my long hair! So pleased!😊
Great video. There is one other use for Olaplex that I highly recommend. The stand alone treatment with Olaplex #1. Doing this process, without bleaching, and following up with deep conditioning is a fantastic fortifying treatment for hair. Doing this treatment before/after a bleach process can make an enormous difference in damaged/ over processed hair. It also works wonders on naturally curly hair.
@@NwFndGlr Hi. You mix 1/2oz #1 Olaplex with 3oz of water in a non-spraying bottle. Apply to hair. It's very watery, so apply carefully. Saturate and comb through. Leave on for at least 5 minutes. Chisty A ah thank you :) I never colour my hair but I’ve damaged my hair with heat so that’s why I was wondering. Could I use like on of those plastic condiment bottles, you know the ones with a small nozzle?
@@NwFndGlr I would think so. I usually use an empty hair color squeeze bottle with a pointy tip. Hello! I have question; is it okay to use only one or two of this products at home? Only the no.3 and the oil for example? or even just no.3? I bleached my hair and dyed it a year ago, I might only dye at home with color, but I have no intention of bleaching it again though. Will it strip the color if I use olaplex on it? and how many times a week do you recommend doing this treatment?
Thank you! Very nice video.. I have a question for the use of 1 e 2. I only do root retouching at home, so there is no bleaching phase. I used the number 1 as a basis and then in the color I entered the number 2. Did I skip any steps? thanks for the further help

Hey! It might be the product. The #6 is a leave in repair cream so it may be too heavy for you hair. I would use the number 7 only in your ends but if that's also too heavy I love davines oi oil.
@@DaniellaBenita thank you so much for getting back to me. Now should I use #7 before or after I style my hair? And what is the best heat protectant in your opinion ? My hair is pretty thick.

But I just feel like it’s so dull and lifeless, it’s not even that damaged (but I do have split ends), but its not shiny like it used to, it’s dry, dull etc. I really just need one Olaplex product to help with that but I’m not sure which one to get. I was thinking No.7... ? But I’m not sure. I’m not fond of oils.
If u r using Blonde me products u should not use Olaplex bc blonde me already has protection bond in it ,if u only been to their class, Second when u were drying that hair keep the heat on low or don’t get too close tho Client’s hair cz u can see smoke coming from the hair .
I just bought schwarzkof bondme bleach and developer olaplex #1 & 2 ...... :( that's what I bought it for so you can't use it in blonde me what will happen if I use it with fry my hair or something?
Hello love! I thought tu pour n1 on the keratin treatment application ( as don’t have sulfate or parabens) or not? Instead on put in the bleach/color mix
Thanks for sharing all your tips, I wish you were in NYC! I’m thinking of getting a GK keratin treatment, can I still use the olaplex 6 and 7 after? Also if I have some greys can I still use the redken eq to do the root melt, would it cover my greys?
Haydee Manning thank you!!! And yes you can use it after wards and if you want to cover grey I would suggest using color gels with 20 volume instead of shades eq. Shades eq will Blend greys but not completely cover ❤️
Fun fact: Use no 6+7 together. It’s easier to get the tiny amount of oil distributed and they work really great together.
Never knew.. 6&7 together.. will do that from now on! 🙂Thanks!
Use 3 and 7 together

How much do we supposed to charge with All that products we put into the Hair.
What about #0
If u r using Blonde me products u should not use Olaplex bc blonde me already has protection bond in it ,if u only been to their class,
Second when u were drying that hair keep the heat on low or don’t get too close tho Client’s hair cz u can see smoke coming from the hair .
Olaplex stated on their instagram that Olaplex is compatible with Blonde Me.
G H also blond me has its own developer...
I did that once and and realised that. Never again will I add olaplex to blonde me. Its not needed.
I just bought schwarzkof bondme bleach and developer olaplex #1 & 2 ...... :( that's what I bought it for so you can't use it in blonde me what will happen if I use it with fry my hair or something?
@@cpantoja09 what happened when you added olaplex #1 to blonde me bleach? I just bought both to do my hair :-( did it fry it? Think you
What is the smoke when blow drying...should not be sorry
Hello love! I thought tu pour n1 on the keratin treatment application ( as don’t have sulfate or parabens) or not? Instead on put in the bleach/color mix
Love ur video
Thank you!
I thought those large bottles were fake. May I know where do you find them
It's colour safe right?
Thanks for sharing all your tips, I wish you were in NYC! I’m thinking of getting a GK keratin treatment, can I still use the olaplex 6 and 7 after? Also if I have some greys can I still use the redken eq to do the root melt, would it cover my greys?
Haydee Manning thank you!!! And yes you can use it after wards and if you want to cover grey I would suggest using color gels with 20 volume instead of shades eq. Shades eq will Blend greys but not completely cover ❤️
Daniella Benita, thank you! I really enjoy all you videos, you are very nice and informative for those that we can’t go to the hair salon all the time
