I tried these this morning at the gym. Excellent!!! Thanks so much. I'm really hoping to build up my core strength and flexibility for the upcoming golf season.

I am an avid follower of Athletic golf and was hoping for some information. At 58hrs of age, I just had meniscus knee surgery, on my left knee three months ago, and was hoping that there were a few golf exercises I could do to strengthen my knees. Because I love the sport, I hope you can help. Thank You Very Much!!!

Is there any specific reason behind that rep range, besides the fact it will limit the weight used and hence avoid the risk of injury for false technique? Or is the intention to do the excersises with small resistance and very explosively, I see this is more of a ''beginners'' workout but best to get it right at the start.
From my personal experience, I gained best results in explosivines; for legs anyway, by keeping the reps low and mixing it up with jump squats in between the sets with small resistance (empty bar).
New to golf, but I believe this method will work for me in golf aswell, sure people are diffrent. Really shame how little videos like this there is when it comes to physic training for golf and most of the stuff seem to be more like ''getting to healthy condition'' rather than specific for golf. Glad to see you make videos like this, keep it up!

    Hello Alex,
I very much enjoy your videos but this one raises some interesting issues. Many golfers in the United States (and I suspect the UK) are retired and therefore are in their 60s or older and have tired, worn or even injured bodies, which makes many of your exercises out of the question. I think you could add a different--and large--audience if you also did training tapes that take into account the special needs and abilities of the older generation. Do keep up the more strenuous stuff for the younger crowd, but also consider how much additional time--and often disposable income---the older folks have to put into improving their golf.

A solid core that can create a smooth burst (explosion) is what I am determined to develop now. You are the light in a tunnel here with all the training ideas!

I do my work outs at the gym, not an underground car park.
