  • A video showing a walkthrough of Delta’s domestic check in at Hartsfield Jackson International Airport. I then travel to TSA Precheck security and then onto the Plane Train. I then walk through Concourse A until I get to my gate at the extreme south end of the concourse. (Filmed October 2022).

    43 NEVER flown in my life and for some reason i'm wanting to fly out form here because it's the only nonstop flight that goes where i'm going and OMG the anxiety watching how big this place is, is INSANE!! I have no idea where to park and this feels like an underground maze of halls and don't even get me started on the luggage an how it is sent of into never never land . I don't know if i can do this!!

      It is a large airport, BUT its far from an underground maze, so don't worry about getting twisted up. There is essentially one long & straight tunnel/walkway underground with the Plane Train running alongside it. The Plane Train doesn't leave the airport and only goes between concourses, so no chance of getting lost. To see a simple interactive layout of how the airport is check out their official website at www.atl.com/maps/
      As far as parking goes, the cheapest way is to use off-site parking lots that shuttle you to and from the airport. I routinely use The Parking Spot.
      Don't let it get to you - You can do this and have a great trip!

      @@bozy106 Thank you SO MUCH!! Your videos have been so so helpful! I think we are going to drive the three and a half hrs to Atlanta so we won’t have to do multiple flights for our first trip ever! We are literally less Han an hr from Pensacola international airport but we would have to go to DFW then to Wyoming and that may be a bit much for first time. I love that your videos literally walked by potential departure for where we may leave from and after a few videos I think I may can do it!😝

    So the self kiosk thing is that something you chose to do, because I saw there was a line around 1:32 by the sign "Agent Assist" is that basically where the agent does what you did at the kiosk

    I'm flying international but the hotel shuttle drops me at domestic terminal only. Can I check in here, go to security and then take the train to my concourse/gate? Or Do I need to take the domestic to international terminal connector shuttle bus instead?

    • @bozy106
      @bozy106  10 місяців тому +1

      I have heard mixed reports about being able to drop bags and check in for a Delta international flight at the domestic terminal. Some say you can while some say you can’t. If it’s another international airline (like British Airways, etc) you will definitely need to check in at the international terminal. I’m that case Your best bet is to take the international connector shuttle. Here is a video of that process… ua-cam.com/video/YF9Pii11rds/v-deo.htmlsi=qWVQW9orTW9EEErk

      @@bozy106 Thank you so much! I'm flying with Delta. I think taking the terminal connector shutter is less risky. Even though I've read that lately is taking much longer because of the constructions.

      @@TaniaMukai in the video I made in August it only took like 9-10 minutes driving time on the shuttle and there were 2 waiting to pull into the pickup area as soon as the shuttle I boarded left. Hopefully the time has been improved all around. Thanks for the view and comment! Have a great trip!
