I have to say, I absolutely LOVE the acting in this. He reacts like an actual person, no "Huh that's weird I thought I saw something," he immediately starts freaking out and screaming at the "person" to get out. And then he really does sound like he's going completely mad.
Frrrr when he started laughing before he was going to "deal with it," it actually sounded like he was going completely insane. 10/10 acting, I'd pay money to hear that scene for the first time again Plus the screaming at it asking what it wanted and to go away was so genuine and not toned down at *all*

i really appreciate the first “attack” here. While i love analog horror, a lot of it is plagued with quick jumpscares and sounds. I find it a lot more interesting when you can make a monster move normally and still be scary

That’s interesting. It’s engrained into the human senses. So I’m somewhat curious on if the way to overcome this SCP is in relation to “taste”, and the Cowbell being covered with rust that seemingly won’t deteriorate no matter what chemicals are used. It sort of makes me think that if a person were to lick it, it would cease all actions after. (As most wouldn’t randomly lick an item they randomly found, let alone one that rusty/grimy).

Auditory hallucinations are far more common, but visual hallucinations can present in certain individuals. What those suffering from either condition will tell you is just how real it feels in the moment. Super creepy.

They should do a test (in the SCP lore) where a group of 15-20 people all hear the bell and if the being tries to stop one from sleeping, the other 10 people (let like 5-10 people sleep in rotations) would beat on it. As it seems to be ineffective against large groups. Hell, its not stated that it cant be killed, just that it does immense damage to the mental health. Seems like a good lore thing to look into is if it can handle large groups.

Hi! I have psychosis, and i noticed Marcus talked aboyt "if thats what it actually looks like" Short words. it varies for everyonbe but for me, yeah pretty much lol. Dark and somewhat obscured and overly distorted or ominous figures are pretty common. For me it shows up mainly at dark corners, so I sleep with the lights all on. As for the noises, and if a bang that louud would make you think its real. If you are diagnosed with some kind of hallucinogenic disorder, or psychotic symptoms, auditory hallucinations like that are possible.Even something like a cat collar's bell, or the sound of your mom or dad calling your voice can be debatable if theyre real or not. It varies between people. Art therapy can really help. It can hepop you communicate to doctors and therapists about what they cant actually see, and that can be a real godsend at times. Holding a job isnt impossible for everyone. I work customer service so learning to ground by talking to people helps me sort myself out! But yeah. Big scary shadow boi go brrrrrr. America W. The fun part is, due to reading so much SCP articles, watching horrors like every day and havving friends who like the same things, i am immune to getting disturbed. Suicide is just another thing that happens and that i watch or read normally Anyway DID YOU KNOW, theres an SCP who literaly goes after young children and tortures them? The SCP is called The Yule Man (SCP-4666), he manifests around Christmas in one house somewhere around the world (Only in conturies that are colder, like the north parts of Europe, Russia or Canada), and only in houses with children under 8 years old. The affected house starts to smell with an odd odor, and the children i the house can see the Yule Man walking around the house occasionally. There are two scenarios that can happen. First, the better one, is that the family gets presents under the christmas thee. However, these presents arent quite what hey seem. They may look like actual toys for children, but all of them are visibly and completely created out of human parts, like bones or flesh, teeth, nails, hair and stuff like that. There even was one that was straight up just a child with its eyes sewed so it would look like a doll. Later it was found that the same child was still alive. Second, the worse one, is that the family gets raided by the Yule Man. The Yule Man kills the adults, and takes the children with him into an unknown location. In this location, they are forced to make the gifts (Those that are mentioned in the better scenario), and usually the gifts are created from children who were forced to work there before, but died due to hunger, diseases, ect. Cannibalism is also a common thing there. If the children taken to the location arent working or are simply too old, they are killed by the Yule Man. The child i was talking about earlier was the only documented case of someone returning from this location, the girl was taken there, passed out from exhaustion (i think) and because she seemed dead, they turned her into a toy as well. Luckily they just sewed her eyes, and it didnt take long unil she was delivered back to the surface, otherwise she would be dead. The foundation took her into their side and helped her recover, and she told them what she saw. This is how its known where the children go and what happens to them. Another interesting SCP, SCP-420 othervise also known as ,,Aggresive skin condition,, is a bottle of whiskey that always has just a tiny bit of whiskey at the bottom, but it never runs out. When the whiskey is consumed, in the next weeks the victim's skin, hair, nails, everything basically start growing without end, but are also easily torn. But due to the quick growth its impossile to stop it. The skin also starts growing, creating extra skin that just hangs over the existing one, and it continues like this for quite a long time. After about a month, due to the skin growth, the huma is transformed into a hoard of extra skin, and the skin even takes over their mind, starting to act as a primitive organism on its own. And this is why i love SCP Foundation. To be honest, i could continue talking like this for hours-

The thing that i saw back when i experienced my first so far only sleep paralysis was some tall humanoid being wearing a mask that my parents had hanging over their toilet, that mask always freaked me out, it was a very feminine mask that during ghe paralysis had what i think were antlers. This thing was towering over me slowly raising an axe. I would cinstantly fade in and out of conciousness with all the while that thing kept raising the axe until i finally managed to bring myself to move.
At 7:24 , you're right. The SCP that you're likely thinking of is SCP-662. It's a small silver hand bell that's missing its ringer. However, if you ring it, a chime sound can be heard. Though, this doesn't come from the bell it's self. It comes from somewhere else. When you ring it, a butler will appear and do essentially whatever you need. Need a meal? It will try and find or make one for you. Need your keys? Sure thing! Need an ancient book that tells you how to burn the world in hellfire? I'm pretty sure it can try to do that, too. Also, SCP-662 is a safe class. No need to worry :) This video is 5 months old... why am I even making this comment...

The fun part is, due to reading so much SCP articles, watching horrors like every day and havving friends who like the same things, i am immune to getting disturbed. Suicide is just another thing that happens and that i watch or read normally
Anyway DID YOU KNOW, theres an SCP who literaly goes after young children and tortures them?
The SCP is called The Yule Man (SCP-4666), he manifests around Christmas in one house somewhere around the world (Only in conturies that are colder, like the north parts of Europe, Russia or Canada), and only in houses with children under 8 years old. The affected house starts to smell with an odd odor, and the children i the house can see the Yule Man walking around the house occasionally. There are two scenarios that can happen.
First, the better one, is that the family gets presents under the christmas thee. However, these presents arent quite what hey seem. They may look like actual toys for children, but all of them are visibly and completely created out of human parts, like bones or flesh, teeth, nails, hair and stuff like that. There even was one that was straight up just a child with its eyes sewed so it would look like a doll. Later it was found that the same child was still alive.
Second, the worse one, is that the family gets raided by the Yule Man. The Yule Man kills the adults, and takes the children with him into an unknown location. In this location, they are forced to make the gifts (Those that are mentioned in the better scenario), and usually the gifts are created from children who were forced to work there before, but died due to hunger, diseases, ect. Cannibalism is also a common thing there.
If the children taken to the location arent working or are simply too old, they are killed by the Yule Man.
The child i was talking about earlier was the only documented case of someone returning from this location, the girl was taken there, passed out from exhaustion (i think) and because she seemed dead, they turned her into a toy as well. Luckily they just sewed her eyes, and it didnt take long unil she was delivered back to the surface, otherwise she would be dead. The foundation took her into their side and helped her recover, and she told them what she saw. This is how its known where the children go and what happens to them.
Another interesting SCP, SCP-420 othervise also known as ,,Aggresive skin condition,, is a bottle of whiskey that always has just a tiny bit of whiskey at the bottom, but it never runs out. When the whiskey is consumed, in the next weeks the victim's skin, hair, nails, everything basically start growing without end, but are also easily torn. But due to the quick growth its impossile to stop it. The skin also starts growing, creating extra skin that just hangs over the existing one, and it continues like this for quite a long time. After about a month, due to the skin growth, the huma is transformed into a hoard of extra skin, and the skin even takes over their mind, starting to act as a primitive organism on its own.
And this is why i love SCP Foundation. To be honest, i could continue talking like this for hours-

The thing that i saw back when i experienced my first so far only sleep paralysis was some tall humanoid being wearing a mask that my parents had hanging over their toilet, that mask always freaked me out, it was a very feminine mask that during ghe paralysis had what i think were antlers. This thing was towering over me slowly raising an axe. I would cinstantly fade in and out of conciousness with all the while that thing kept raising the axe until i finally managed to bring myself to move.
At 7:24 , you're right. The SCP that you're likely thinking of is SCP-662. It's a small silver hand bell that's missing its ringer. However, if you ring it, a chime sound can be heard. Though, this doesn't come from the bell it's self. It comes from somewhere else. When you ring it, a butler will appear and do essentially whatever you need. Need a meal? It will try and find or make one for you. Need your keys? Sure thing! Need an ancient book that tells you how to burn the world in hellfire? I'm pretty sure it can try to do that, too.
Also, SCP-662 is a safe class. No need to worry :)
