My friends bought one immediately after test driving it. It's such an amazing vehicle. We recently drove with it from Joburg to Cape Town and averaged 7.3 litres per 100kms (they have the 1.6 turbo version). 4 passengers and all our luggage. Brilliant. It's so comfortable, quiet and smooth. Actually even better than the double the price Mercedes GLB I had.
On the fuel consumption part, it is really good for the power and torque. Most people give the Chinese cars unnecessary flak for this. Just as an example. I recently drove the new Rav4 2 litre from Joburg to George. It has 127kw and 203nm from its naturally aspirated 2 litre with a CVT. It averaged 7.7 litres per 100kms with 4 passengers. I did the same trip in the 1.6 turbo Tiggo 8 which has way more power and torque at 145kw and 290nm and it averaged 7.3 litres per 100km. So the Chery did better and it is heavier and bigger. In town, the Rav4 averages above 10 litres per 100kms. So the fact that this 2 litre turbo is 10.5 is excellent then especially considering its massive power and torque outputs compared to the Toyota. But you will never hear people complaining about Toyota's fuel consumption.
In Turkey, the Chery Tiggo 7 and the Chery Tiggo 8 Pro are very common. Despite the abnormal inflation in Turkey, the vehicles are still priced at a very good level. Currently, you can't buy a more equipped car for this price. It is a shame that this vehicle is not available in Europe due to the punitive tariffs on Chinese cars, decided by the German Ursula von der Leyen. Nobody wants to drive an overpriced Volkswagen anymore, which no longer offers any class.
I have the Tiggo 7 Pro (2023) and extremely satisfied. What I do not like about the new Max versions is that display. My Tiggo 7 has the standard instrument panel, that still looks like a normal dash. It protects the screens from the sun and just looks so much better than that display that seems lost on the dash. Also, the climate control and other shortcut buttons are better on the standard 2023 versions. I feel Chery has gone backwards trying to save money to standardize with the curved display and new shortcut buttons. Other than that, it is really a great buy. Very happy.
I agree it’s a great but. But you’re right, brands are trying to find ways to save money all over, and adding screens is the first way to do that. Removed the need to for buttons, wiring etc.

That's actually really decent.
I'd go for this over the Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace, Ford Territory, Toyota RAV4 and the Kia Sportage😌
Me too. All the so-called "big boys" are just expensive for nothing. With them, you get no value for your hard earned money.
Happy with my Chery T4 but this is the one I want. Thanks for the review.
Thanks for watching!
good looking, decent power, great value for money.. i can definately buy this one

I have watched a few of your reviews and i must say they are informative, objectives and to the point.
Thank you for the feedback 🙏🏼

Hi Greg....can you confirm if this AWD version has front fog lights...when I check the spec sheet they are not mentioned and yet the FWD has them...?
Would love to buy this car one day
Can I find one in a Diesel engine.?
Does it come with spare tyre?
Yes, under the rear
I’d prefer black interior especially on a silver white or light coloured car but I think id prefer the brown on a darker coloured exterior 🤔
Def black over brown but not a deal breaker. Still excellent value !! AWD demo's available from R 670 000.00
In Australia, we have the brown or black leather option in the AWD
My dream car 😍😍
I can see why 😍
Price !?

I loved everything about it but the sound , sounded so wrong.
Dankow ❤❤
I hope you enjoyed it 🙏🏼
8 speakers in a 7 seater is disappointing though
They are 8 brilliant speakers though. The sound quality and loudness is amazing.
Its 10 speakers in the AWD in australia
