Kumbi-m you did very well on this review. Even though I feel you did not do justice for both Chery and your viewers by not showing the keys for this car. There are so many features you can perform with the keys for this car. South African reviewers are more interested on test driving the car and less on showing us the car . I still feel that when test driving the car what you tell us are just your opinions cause I can't tell if it true or not without test driving it. Please South African reviewers show us more the car. And less of test driving the car if you feel the video will be too long.
True. I think the whole point of motoring journalism is to help the viewer experience the vehicle which includes all aspects. Save for one or two TV shows at least they're not like that annoying top gear stuff where every car has to be taken onto a racetrack and penalised for not performing well there. I respect the UA-camrs for not being too boy racer cuz that's just annoying.
My Tiggo 8 Pro 1.6 has a 51l tank and I can barely reach 500km on the full tank. Range anxiety is so strong in this car. And in the coffee cup holder you can't put two cups.
I think the solution is to get the FWD model. I have a relative who has the FWD model. It's more efficient in terms of fuel. He averaged between 7.6 and 9.0L / 100 km
In addition to fuel consumption issues (which are prevalant in other chinese brands) the chinese need to prove to the south african market that their cars are reliable as well. I quiet like the H6 and this tiggo 8 pro max but the worry is alwayls how long till it breaks down and how much will maintaining them once they start breaking down nuke my wallet. But I'd still most likely buy one if I had the chance, these many features and that aesthetic at that price has already seduced the south african market...the chinese know what they're doing with these SUVs.
i was hoping that the Facelift will have some vrrrrrpha nyana, i mean it looks good and all that but it should sound as good as it looks, but unfortunately its disappointing, all round, good car, good tech, go check out my review on it
You seems not to know the car you purport to review. This car in this video is not an awd model but fwd, lastly the price you kept mentioning is close to that one of awd which is R731k. As for the fuel still you deprived the viewers not to mentioned that the awd its fuel tank capacity increased from 51L to 57L thus it can't be correct to mention 480KM range of one full tank?
My brother, the spec sheet and that unit is a Pro Max, an AWD variant. So unless you’re saying the brand gave me a wrong car, I mentioned the range I got when the car was delivered. So if you work at the brand and you’re hiding behind a username, stay off my comments.
In future reviews please show us car keys and tell us what you think about them. Car keys are part of the car.
Noted 🙏🏽
Yaaaaaass ❤

this is beautiful car, value for money and i am not surprised why we have a lot of them on the road.
yup!
Is the vehicle you tested the all wheel drive?
I did not see the AWD sign on the bool door...
Meant to say AWD sign on the rear door...
Yes it is. Pro Max models are AWD
@@kumbimoncarsThis is the front wheel drive.
😂that fuel consumption will make you cry i made that mistake once always research fuel consumption before buying.
😫
There’s an update coming out that will reduce it. Tiggo 4 update is in effect and it’s 6L/100 now

I’m currently doing 6.9L/100km but it’s not the pro max

My issue with these Chinese cars. Absolutely beautiful but fuel consumption is really high
That is the issue.
Ai, that brown 'chomp' interior looks horrible.
Eish
They should have just gone with black. I thought I was the only one who does not like that interior
On point mfth...
Why you driving in circles?
Saving fuel😅
😫
👊🏽
That actually chows more fuel 😂😂😂😂@@Ummo2850
When someone says trust me 100% is s lie 😂😂😂😂😂
