Congratulations on a great video Senior! I look forward to following your engine rebuild. Junior has got some real competition as best Squatch family videographer now!
Well I can see why SR didn't want to film this, he seems like a go hard get it done type and this added a lot to this job. Well let him know that we really appreciate that he took the time for us, really well done. Excellent video and Toby has competition in the video game.
Sr. I would really like for you to do more videos! Jr. needs some help (rest), and you are excellent at doing videos. Kept me glued to the screen! Please consider doing more!!!!!!
Well done "Senior' there's nothing wrong at all with your technique in making descriptive video. I almost wish I could watch and listen to the 'adultversion' of the next chapter. I'll bet it'll be interesting. This is a most enjoyable bit of 'entertainment' for me at least. ( I pretty certain that you and I are of the same era , so one to another, keep these coming!)
I enjoy your videos Squatch Sr. !! I know you want to expedite the overhaul on the Super M, and not be bothered by too much videoing, but thank you for what you are sharing regarding the overhaul !! Looking forward to seeing more!! 👍 👍
That is a pretty nice old "M", Good to see it getting repaired, rather than getting parked in the corner of a field to rot. I love old iron, if I had more resources I would have a few myself!!! For now, I will watch you love yours.
that was totally awesome with the steering going through the top of the radiator and having that really cool tree that goes down and controls the steering. Love how they did things back in the day.
Once your dad has fixed this tractor please go out and buy him another old broken one. I honestly didn't think this channel could get much better. Then your old fella goes and raises the game.
Heck of a job, Sr.! I am getting the Memorial H project back together little by little. Engine is 75% assembled... From there I will get the rear end all new seals, attack rebuilding the front steering bolster... Then it is off for sandblast, prime and paint! Look forward to seeing the video progress on this rebuild! One thing about the radiator studs on the H and M tractors - they are difficult to get to for removal... BUT Re-installation can be even worse because you have to compress the springs to get the nuts started onto the stud. I NEVER liked doing that part!
Outstanding Senior, well done. You make want to tear apart a farmall right now. I'm really looking forward to see what you find in the motor. Thanks or taking us along.
Great video Mr Squatch Senior, the old Super M looks like she's getting to the point of the teardown where she's going to start digging her heels in, some awkward and time consuming bits and pieces to deal with, you have the tools and the time so no issue really.
Senior Needs his own channel. Great job. Sure wish my Dad was still around to do things with. He taught me a lot about al kinds of machinery. Miss him daily! Thanks Senior!!
Your dad is a natural! He has been holding out on us. Glad he decided to do the videos. I know it slows him down but really enjoyed it so far. Look forward to more.
Squatch Sr, that was a brilliant video! As others have said, and much more eloquently, you sir, are a natural! :-) I'm looking forwards to the next video, and if there is any 'robust' language, I reiterate that I am over 18, although my IQ isn't! :-)
Go Squatch Sr! I got a lot of grey hair too. Warms the heart to see Sr. at work. "Like Father, like Son" sure applies here. Senior, you got a following now. Enjoy it.
Thanks for posting SR. Squatch. That Super M has a boat load of Modifications ie Power Steering, Alternator, Live Hydraulic 12V conversion, my Dad had one that had all the same except 12V and alt. he used an 8 volt battery due to engine work it dyno'd at 104 HP, the only problem then was the bull gear would hand grenade at the worst time.
So much for Sr. Not wanting to take video. This was a welcome surprise! Thanks a ton for the update Sr! I really enjoy your slow, methodical approach to taking things apart in a way that ensures nothing gets ruined. Top notch video and commentary!
Great video!!! That garage is a tight space ! Hope you have a second one to lay out the disassembly! Looks like Sr will give Jr a run for best video!!!! We are waiting for this series to see what is causing that strange noise. Can't be sure but it might be coming from a splash shield in the oil pan. Sounds tinny to me. I hope it is nothing major.
Sr. Does a great job!! Good video. That front end is a Norden , made in Kensington Kansas. I bet !!! Look on tag and see if I’m right. Close to me!! My Fad put one on a 44 Nasseynin 1960 !! Drove to plant and picked up!!! I don’t think they’re in business anymore!! Let me know if I’m right!!!!
For a man that wanted to get this done and not film a lot, this was a great video from Papa squatch. If he wants to continue filming i'm up for watching, It's great to see him working on his own tractor project as well. Thanks for sharing part 1 , Take care guys.
I can understand the apprehension to doing these types of videos, you have to talk to yourself A LOT and most of us don't want to admit to how much we do it anyways. Great video!
Senior did an excellent job making a video that I thought he didn't want to do. A natural Talent! Could;t ask fort anything more. Please pass on the compliments and I look forward to more from you both
Obviously not your first rodeo on a Super M - glad to see someone with gray hair still working like a young pup - look forward to the rest of the vids.
See what happens when you leave your video camera on the kitchen table before you go to work at the dealer-another awesome video! I'm looking forward to the next installment!
It seems like a very nice machine. Folks in Maine where I stayed summers as a kid, were more Ford types. One tip I saw work on a very worn old Ford tractor was STP oil Treatment. I heard the idle speed increase as it was poured in. Perhaps this can help somebody. I haven't been near a farm in far too long. Folks like the Squatches keep my root alive, if only in memory. Thanks and God Bless you all.
Hey Senior, that was a great start on the job in hand. And if you're ever looking to give up your day job, well who knows where you might end up. Looking forward to the continuation.
Great video Senior! You did a good job of explaining and showing what was going on while still making sure work got done! I hope you will continue to video the progress as much as I’m sure you hate it because it’s very enjoyable to watch! Keep up the great work!
Glad that you decided to film this project, really anxious for it.....my dad and I have a similar project swapping rear end housings from one Farmall H to another! Your doing a fine job sir.....maybe Jr might have to start another channel now 😁 really good wholesome content boys !
The universe is amazing. I walk past one of these parked outside the mall entrance here in South Africa today and later UA-cam suggests this video to me. Those are awesome machines.
Yep its raining out so I'm going to call it a day.....how luck you are old man....cant wait for retirement....hopefully I'm in as good a shape as you when I get there....I would love to tinker on my own projects!!
Thanks so much for making these and posting them.!! I am about to start my own restoration and rebuild of a Super M. So this will definitely be very helpful.
Sr did a fantastic job, his narration is great, and toy can he is a wealth of knowledge good job Sr. Thanks for deciding to this can not wait til the next one
I thought you said Sr. Wouldn't be filming any of the tear down. Well looks like he's done a very good job so far even with the video. Thanks for the video Sr. Will be watching for more.
Good job Sr. You’ve proved you don’t need no stinkin Ford mechanic to help you operate on your old friend. I hope the wrenching goes well and the cussing is minimal. Keep up the good work. 😎👍👏
Nailing it Sr.! I wasn't expecting you to film the Super M teardown. I'm glad you were able to get the camera away from Jr!
Great video Sr. I now know where Jr. gets his instructional talent.
Congratulations on a great video Senior! I look forward to following your engine rebuild. Junior has got some real competition as best Squatch family videographer now!

It's already been said, although I truly appreciate sr. videos. I love farmall tractors, so I'm grateful he's taking the time to record this.
Thanks Snr... Looking forward to the next instalment :)

Thanks Senior Squatch for this and I hope you will make more videos. A perfect time to get thing ironed out.
Never seen a Farmall M apart . 👍good stuff Sr. Hopefully it won't give too many problems. 👍
You can certainly see it’s F series ancestry......
Very nice video Sr. thanks for letting us be apart of the rebuilding of your tractor
Thanks for posting this, glad to see Sr doing the video work too. Look forward to see more , keep it up.
Watching your videos is like being in school again very informative keep up the great work
Squatch Sr. What a pleasant surprise. Great video and very informative and detailed. Keep them coming as you tackle the Super M project.
Glad you're taking us along Senior!
that was totally awesome with the steering going through the top of the radiator and having that really cool tree that goes down and controls the steering. Love how they did things back in the day.
That is actually a holdover from the earlier F series tractors.
The ol man knocks it outta the ball park. Nice work Sr. enjoyed it.
Once your dad has fixed this tractor please go out and buy him another old broken one.
I honestly didn't think this channel could get much better. Then your old fella goes and raises the game.
Excellent video Senior!!! Hope you keep taking us along your journey on the Super M!!!
Squatch Sr! Awesome work. I see were Jr. gets his talent from. ;)

great video & a great piece of machinery nice to see it getting repaired rather than parked
Great video Mr Squatch Senior, the old Super M looks like she's getting to the point of the teardown where she's going to start digging her heels in, some awkward and time consuming bits and pieces to deal with, you have the tools and the time so no issue really.
Excellent timing sir. I was just looking. Thanks for sharing!
Senior, Nicely done. Hope you will continue the overhaul series. All the best to you!
A pleasure to watch thanks for filming it !.
Senior Needs his own channel. Great job. Sure wish my Dad was still around to do things with. He taught me a lot about al kinds of machinery. Miss him daily! Thanks Senior!!
We can now see where Jnr gets his skills and presentation style from.
Great video.

Good job Sr...you and squatch253 make a great u tube team... Keep up the good work. Love the narrative
Thanks for letting us look over your shoulder at the project
I never knew there was a power steering option for the old Farmall M series. Learned something new today. Thanks Senior!
Your dad is a natural! He has been holding out on us. Glad he decided to do the videos. I know it slows him down but really enjoyed it so far. Look forward to more.

So, we all know where Squatch got his meticulous practices from! Nice work Dad!
Great job Sr. Really looking forward to your overhaul progress.

Man, this is a whole different animal that that "M" tricycle we had on the family farm 7 or 8 decades ago.
Excellent video I don’t even own a tractor and I’m enjoying this. Thanks for sharing.
Great video, Pop Squatch. Would love to see more.
Looking good. Get it blown apart so you can get your eyes on everything. Hopefully no major battles.
Papa squatch needs his own channel! Great video!
