- So in this video I finally add fish to the above ground mini pond, whilst giving a full update on what’s been going on with it since being set up 3 months ago. I also do some updates on my other 2 ponds!! Thanks for watching!!!

YAY!! MOE's story comes full circle! ;) I was enjoying the Vid and just starting to wonder if I was gonna get to see him, and then BOOM!! 'The Man, the Myth, the Legend'...SUCH a delight seeing Moe back out in the Pond and w/a Wee Little bit of a mate!! You are an A-Mazing fishkeeper, he was really in a bad way and you noticed and took extra-special care of him, a huge, comfortable 'hospital tank' & all the time he needed to heal. So glad you told him about going into the pond, so he had the night to sleep and dream on it. Great 'post pond' quirk tips, & bonus Road Trip!!! This made me SO HAPPY!!! Thank you!!!
Thank you so much, it was nice to finally be able to move Moe out into the pond! He had me worried for a while but he made it back to full health and now he’s back outside living his best life!! I’m glad that this made you happy, and I will be sure to continue the Moe updates! 😊
Im going to start my 500l mini pond and live in the Netherlands. Your channel is deffo worth viewing by millions. For me its Pure for the simple fact that we live in likeways climates and you mention and fix neccesary factors to overcome them❤🎉 worthy info that i cant thank you enough for

So, your raised series is the way I want to go ! I'm thinking of just building a big box & using pond liner .. It's going to take some planning but, I loved how you used the decking on the outside of yours 🙂 TY for the tips & tricks so far !

@@GingerFishyOfficial Those darn things are really expensive here in the states ... About a dollar a gallon 😔 Those Rubbermaid foam ones are the ones I was looking into .. The box & liner or box & epoxy pond liner (liquid) is looking really good due to cost ! Ty again 😃

How do you prevent the rain from overflowing it?
To be honest I haven’t really made a way for it to not overflow when it rains, but it doesn’t seem to have caused a problem. What i should of done, and maybe will now, is to drill a couple of small holes at the top of the tub, where I want the water line to sit. This is what I’ve seen other people do to prevent tub ponds from overflowing when it rains. Thanks for pointing it out though and reminding me, I’ll mention it in a future video! 😊

How cold does it get where you are?
Pretty chilly, often below freezing at night durin the winter.. its rare that it stays below freezing all though out the day though!
Lol. Goes out of his way to go buy a net to avoid picking up fish by hand. **picks up fish by hand 2 minutes later. 😂 That's something I would do, too.

What is the size of the pond please

How many litres is the little pond ? Would a 48inch length 13inch wide 18 inch tall pond be ok for a couple goldfish?
Hi there! The pond is 470L. It’s recommended that for a fully grown single tail/ common goldfish you should aim for 100L per fish. Looking at your dimensions, they are very similar to my pond, but just not quite as wide. So I would say that it should be perfectly fine for a couple of goldfish!

Where is your video of your largest pond?
Hi Karen, unfortunately I haven’t got a video on building my largest pond.. I build that before I started my UA-cam channel. But it’s actually a Blagdon Affinity Pond (which is sort of a kit pond), that I added a couple of diy bog filters to. I also insulated and covered it in the same way I did on diy patio pond build. In the Spring though I’m going to hopefully be upgrading it.. it will be a similar setup but just on a bigger scale, and I’ll definitely be making a video showing all of that! Thanks for watching!! 😊
