Here I was thinking about buying another Paladin in order to make like an armored modern-looking Wolverine custom. Give me a lot of time painting if I just bought the yellow Paladin.

I really like the idea of having a little squad of A.I.M troops, and the various heads, but geez Louise do I hate those dumb “ Super Soaker” guns, which look even stupider in yellow and powder blue. The only one that makes sense is the smaller laser pistol, the rest are just unforgivably goofy.
I'm not a fan of the price for these "army builders" set, but at least Hasbro is making it worth the money. I imagine that an Army builder should be cheaper per figure since they are 'generic' figures, so you imagine the MSRP should be $30 for these two packs vs $20 for a one pack of a name figure.... but of course that isn't the case, but with all the head swaps and equipment it makes it worth the $40 purchase, but I'm with Shartimus, I really do want a second set.
Personally I wish these army builder sets where three packs instead of two. Two standard soldiers and one hasbro kit-bash. A comic book characters army doesn’t look as good when it’s half and half.
Andrew Anderson absolutely. It’s why I wound up buying 3 of the Hydra set, just so I could mix up the mess with one randomized figure. I wish they had offered a two pack of the generic soldier with the various accessories so you don’t wind up with an army halfway comprised of brutes.
I dont think the classic aim soldier belt from the winter wave is different I think it's the fact they painted yellow on black instead of what they did with the new one which is molded yellow painted black

I would put the brown straps on the vintage cap. I think that would work and always liked that cap design
