Of course then ended up spending a few hundred bucks building an A.I.M. trooper army to surround him on the shelf. I love this channel, but my bank account hates it.

I just put the extra face into a snack-sized Ziploc bag before storing it in the back. I was worried about scuffage too but it seems the weight of the extra face keeps the figure balanced. Some have reported it shelf-diving. No stability issues for me though.
The first modok was a BAF, I don’t think those selling him should be considered scalpers, IMO, they were just lucky to buy it when it came out, just glad I will be able to get a reasonably priced Modok
I almost spent the money multiple times to buy the old BAF and I'm happy I didnt. I like the new one way more bigger, smoother and I didnt have to collect a full wave of old figures.
I feel like the BAF has like a "Select" quality detail M.O.D.O.K., however this new one is a good piece to put on a display. To sum it up, I'm torn lol.
Quick tip. The front heaviness of the figure was bothering me. I wasn't storing the face and extra hands inside to protect the face from damage, so i got some painters masking tape and made a taped pouch with 4.5 ounces of lead fishing sinkers and taped it inside to the bottom back of the rear cover. It worked like a champ and the figure is perfectly balanced and way more stable.
@@sully_hash1215 I didn't notice that being a problem, but it's front heaviness bothered me enough that I did the lead weight trick within 10 minutes of unboxing it. I just checked this second, and with the weights it's pretty resistant to rotating and trying to turn it side to side just has the base sliding on the surface like a solid piece.
Hold on actually. Yes I do remember that it was a little wobbly at the two connection points of the upper exhaust flame. The added weight puts enough pressure on those points to seat them perfectly.
I didn't know how much bigger this new one was compared to the ToyBiz BaF. I didn't start getting Legends until 2019 and I am glad I never bought MODOK on eBay for over $100. This one looks great. The other one just looks a bit outdated compared to the Hasbro modern legends.
