ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

I watched Glenn since I was 12 and honestly when I heard he was gone a little piece of me died with him! He kept me company with his videos for years now and I still can't get over the fact that he's not with us anymore! Rest in peace Glenn!

I'm finally watching these, I knew I'd find it difficult to watch as I remember finding yours and Glen's channel on the same day in 2012 and been here ever since. But man I took Glenn's death pretty bad. He was just the nicest of guys and he had this sarcastic wit that would just break you. He convinced me to buy my neo classic iron-man at a show. I only ever met him the once and always hoped to run into him again..
You Glenn Boog and Anthony's Customs were my 4 horseman of collecting I watched your videos religiously and then one day Glenn was just gone..
I'm so grateful he made his mark on the world and was loved by many.
It brings me joy watching these and remembering good times!

Oddly, I found Glenn Webb's channel only a couple months before you had announced that you were going to do your own Evolution video. I then studiously watched all of his Evolution videos.

Back when I started collecting again, his videos really stood out, and so did yours. Both of your video reviews became crucial to my purchase considerations. It’s great seeing a video like this and it brings me back to when I got back into this crazy collecting world. Much love to Glenn Webb and all that he did for the collecting community. And much love to you Shartimus for keeping the energy and paying tribute to a true Marvel Legend.
it wasnt a licensing thing, Disney owned the rights to make any Xmen products they wanted, even the movie figures, as Marvel Studios were "exec producers" of those films, and controlled the merchandising rights, BUT Disney saw merch as advertising and didnt want to advertise another studios film franchise they saw as competition with their newly purchased MCU. The same in the comics, the Xmen were scaled down to just a couple books & took a back seat to the Inhumans. It was a directive confirmed by product makers about what characters they could and could not use. Xmen were off limits. It didnt change until years later when Disney agreed to only allow comics versions of the Xmen, but the movie versions were still off limits until very recently, as you know. It was happy side effect of the 20th Century purchase by Disney.

This was an 👌 video bro! Kudos to you! I felt like I got taken back in time seeing the evolution of this character in figure form. I hope you end up doing this sort of thing with other ML figures. Of course it would have to be one with lots of releases like Logan. Deadpool, Spidey, Ironman? Anyways very good stuff here. To answer your question as to where can MLs even go from a here after House of X Wolverine, well they have lots of versions of Wolverine they haven't made yet. I think you got too caught up (while asking that question) that MLs has to or can only make a Wolverine figure based on what the current Wolverine is in comics or movies. Dude, this is MLs, they can go back to the past and give is Department H/Spy Wolverine, Venomized Wolverine from that run with the poisons (Poundz even made a custom of that version), Hydra Wolverine, Patch Wolverine in his white tuxedo, an updated Astonishing Wolverine, Fantastic Four Wolverine (the version of when he actually wore a FF uniform), Wolverine in a basic X-Men uniform with the yellow running down the middle (this version could open up the doors for Morph, Gambit in that uniform, etc), Earth-1610 Wolverine (Ultimate Marvel), Wolverine wearing jeans and that Punisher t-shirt, Zombieverse Wolverine, Vampire Wolverine, and so much more. Dude there are a lot of Wolverines MLs has yet to explore.

Hasbro went HARD after that Juggernaut wave. As for where they could go? An updated Ultimate Wolverine, Wolverine as Death, Wolverine in his feral mode with the bandana and no nose (though I doubt there is a demand for it), Wolverine The End, Astonishing Wolverine with the newer body mold, New X-Men Wolverine, a single release Patch in the white suit. They'll find ways to make more man!

my personal favorites are the Fox ML Wolverines... not only is the Hugh Jackman likeness spot on, but the claws are easily the best claws on any Wolverine. They look like they actually fit in the forearm, and they're STRAIGHT.

That's exactly what I'm doing right now. So far I've got Big-Time Spidey, 3 figures from the PS4 game, Peter Parker with the vintage 90's card, and a Venomized Miles Morales. But it's tough hunting for figs in the wild.

ive kept my silver wolvy in package too. Which I have been a fan of that first hasbro packaging but I never felt the blow from collecting toybiz and all that. If ya recall bro I found you around 2011 and the Return of Marvel Legends was like my first packaging I learned about, and still my favorite. Although of course I like new collector friendly stuff too. But man Toybiz packaging does really hold a place above the rest even though I said roml is my fav. I love the TB packaging and I mean it's iconic. Old 3.75 mu stuff though is my all time favorite toy packaging for modern stuff.
