- Street Photography With The Fujifilm X-T3 & X-T30. So last week we went on a short trip to Edinbrugh in Scotland. We did some exploring around the city and took some photos with the X-T3 + 35mmF2 & the X-T30 with the 18-55mm. It was a little tricky at times but I managed to get some photos I really quite like. Summer is nice but having the lovely low winter light all day worked out very nicely on this trip. Hope you enjoy following along.

I find this channel refreshing. While you do talk about gear a bit it's much more photo centric than gear centric. I really like your editing style as well.

Thanks very much, appreciate that :) We actually have the sharpness turned down a little in camera to -2 and the film sim we use is Astia Soft with a few adjustments in premiere pro 👍

Review of the 27mm would be great, I just picked one up as it's my favorite focal length (shoot it like a wide 50 or a 35 with more compression)
I would love to try one out, so I will try to make it happen lol It doesn seem like it would be the perfect focal length for my style... I think haha Glad to hear you love it.
The vertical view is portrait in your shots and the 27mm lens approx. 40mm is really nice to use enjoyed the video thanks.......

you said you did not know the name for the view when the pictures are taken vertical portrait is the answer the other view is landscape i hope this help you the tall buildings you shot were in portrait

Nice photos of the castle. Fond memories of it, lived there for two years. Think you captured the atmosphere perfectly.
Regarding needing something wider, might be worth getting a TTArtisans 25mm manual focus lens for street stuff, can’t go wrong for only £70…?

The manual focus only 25mm is a very different beastie to the 27mm AF.....
What is your go to lens for street photography?
My favorite that I always use is my 35 mm and 16 mm f1.4 and f2
EF-S 24mm f2.8 which I use on an old D450
Do you think xt3 is better in terms of minimizing overheating, compared to xt30
Honestly I don't know. We haven't really had any issues with over heating but we also don't record for long periods of time other than for sit down talking parts in videos.
