    The best advice that I’ve ever heard in regard to purchasing equipment is this, always buy bigger and better than your immediate need is, then grow into it(and you will) for example I bought a cheesy 5x8 trailer, sold it, bought a nice 5x8, kept it, and bought a 6x12 enclosed All trailers were paid with cash. I should have at least bought a 6x12 open trailer from the get go. Same thing goes with a mower or any equipment. Especially if you are using it for your business. Buy substantial equipment and grow into it. You can always sell it if things go south, but if you’re watching this, it means you are not of a failure mindset. Best Wishes in 2020 to all.

      Hazardra Lawn Care Thanks brother. I made that using a free intro editing program, that I heard about on UA-cam. I don't remember specifically which one though.

    OK, I’m going from Scott’s to earth way this spring. Small question, how would you figure out where to place the setting for the fertilizer being used? Some fertilizes do not have an earthway setting.

      The Earthway comes with a cheat sheet for suggested settings.

    Seems like they no longer make that model. Shame. I like the back-swept handles.

      I just purchased a Chapin 100# with the same handle design, but all stainless steel. I really like the handle design also.

      HandyGuy 2016 stainless handles translates to expensive....more commercial than for the homeowner I’m assuming!

    I am having trouble with my Earthway continuing to dump after I shut it off. It creates burned spots in the lawn. Any ideas on how to cure this?

      Best advice I have is test each setting from the bottom until you find what works best for you.

    I have an earthway 2050 TP pull behind estate spreader. What is it worth? I would definitely sell it to anyone and I’d pay the shipping!!

    The commercial hopper seems so much smaller than the consumer hopper. Is it big enough to hold one bag of product? For example, 36 pounds of Milorganite?

    • @HandyGuy2016
      @HandyGuy2016  5 років тому +2

      Yes, it almost holds 50# of 19-19-19 fertilizer, but it definitely seems small.

    I wish you would have identified your new and old spreader. What are their numbers? I can't do anything without that information. Bummer.

      Amy C22 Hd is the professional one.

      Amy I will find out and message you back.

    • @zazelda

      Thanks. The c22 is definitely outside my budget and needs. I've narrowed my purchase to the 2600, 2050, and 2030. The 2600 has the T bar handles, which I'm not sure of, but has a good hopper size. The 2030 and 2050 hold more than I need. I'm thinking your handles are more sturdy, but might come with a larger capacity. I only need to drop one bag at a time (no more than 40 lb). I'm trying to figure out why Earthway 80 lb. 2050 cost more than the 100 lb.2030 on Amazon. I'm afraid I'm missing something!!! Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks again for your response.

    • @HandyGuy2016
      @HandyGuy2016  6 років тому +1

      Amy The 2030 is the smaller model, and it has smaller wheels than the 2050 (8" vs 10").

    Is this same as 2150?

    • @HandyGuy2016

      Not sure?

    • @NipItInTheBud100
      @NipItInTheBud100 4 роки тому +1

      No it’s not. The C22HD is no longer in production. The 2150 is the closest to the C22HD though.
