Nice. The only issue I see is that it made you blue at 2:07. I have both the Ace Pro 2 and DJI Action 5 and I'm doing videos trying to decide but I will primarily be using it when I'm in and around the water at the beach, snorkeling and then maybe vlogging in and around the beach while on vacation. Looking forward to seeing more from your channel!
Thank you. I just subb to your channel and looking forward to your comparison vids! I would love to see your underwater footage for both cams. Personally I am really quite happy with the footage from Ace Pro 2 as I come from GoPro, the 12 being the last I own. As I may dive a bit deeper at the edge of recreational depth or beyond, footage from GoPro tend to be quite greenish even when using red filters. At the same time, I am thankful that GoPro launched the 13 with battery non-compatibility to their older models and that inspired me to explore other brands where I found this Ace Pro 2.
@Aquatic-Monkeys thank you so much for the sub. Yes, I agree. The battery was a huge mistake for GoPro because it is enticing people to try other cameras. I'm excited to explore these other action cams as well. Unfortunately I may not get to take it in the water until this summer though 😞
@@TimBrownTown Fortunately or unfortunately, I live in places with no winter :~( Besides these recent footage from HTMS Chang and Pak One, I will be going back to Koh Chang (freediving) and Bali (scuba) next month. If you need any underwater footage to test different functions or depth (subjected to dive site) I will be happy to share with you the raw unedited footage for your use.
@@Aquatic-Monkeys Personally, I would prefer year round summer and only to visit colder climates so I think you are fortunate! I really appreciate the offer. I may take you up on it at a later time. I'm a strong swimmer but I've never made it beyond snorkeling. Scuba is on my bucket list FOR sure!
@@TimBrownTown Thats great! If you ever decide to come Thailand [for | to learn] scuba, do ping me. Will be happy to be your videographer for 3rd person shots :)
Fortunately there is no issue with fogging when scuba diving. However my unit does fog up when shooting in colder environments, on land. This has been feedback to Insta360 and they are helping to look into it.
@@906Roofer As far as I am aware, my cam is from the first batch and Insta360 has since fixed it with subsequent batches. I had orderred mine literally on the launch day and received it within a week from launch. However I have purchased some anti-fog wipes and spray. I will be testing it out both on land and underwater again in the next week or so. I will let you know the result.

That's kind of discerning seeing how I shoot a lot of winter stuff on Lake Superior@@Aquatic-Monkeys
