I am starting to honestly suspect that She-Hulk series is less of an introduction to the character and more of a building block to explain the presence of all the other characters/franchises in the universe. I am like 50% sure that in the last episode they will just non-cholantly say mutants are real without subtext and everyone [the audience] will suddenly realize that Wanda/Dr. Strange screwed the universe more the movie implied and that the easter eggs were less easter eggs and more just worldbuilding.

To expand on that, what it could be implying is that the MCU is in the middle of an incursion and this is what it looks like. Things just start popping up that weren’t necessarily there before. the people in that world do not recognize it as anything different. And it is literally the marvel studios and fox studios universe is colliding
As for the kicks, the one you reference as Thor, i don’t think that’s Thor. I think that’s definitely “Bishop” especially for the M part. The tone matches with his classic costume. And the one you ref as Daredevil, i think that’s actually Gambit even though the color palette doesn’t look all 100% memorable. There’s also a storm one next to wolverine’s. So a lott of x men easters, i’m literally dying now 🥹🥹

The top left shoes with the spade symbol and the colors makes me think it is Gambit The brown for his coat and the red and blue for his suit. I agree with Kantaratch below that the shoes above Green Goblin is much more likely to be Bishop. The pure gold ones make me think Jubilee but I could see if being Professor X as well.

I like that the actress that plays Titania in real life has been very vocal about the beauty influencer industry and how they create impossible standards for women and messes with young women's mental health like the Kardashians. She seems to be really diving into this role and enjoying herself, and is a deeper middle finger up to that industry!
If you haven't seen it already, I cannot recommend The Good Place enough. It was Jameela Jamil's very first acting credit and she somehow even managed to outshine the likes of Kristen Bell and Ted Danson at times.

yeah apparently Jameela Jamil has never taken an acting class; she was "discovered" working as an english teacher doing some run-of-the-mill LIVE tv spot/interview and misunderstood that the camera had stopped rolling and heard "fill" in her earpiece (meaning just say/do anything to fill until stop roll) she started yelling "where's phil!? who the fuck is phil??" etc or something like that. it then went viral. i saw an interview where she told the story i may have details sorta or totally wrong... :/

The shoes on the shelf in between the Wolverine and Captain America shoes could be for Cable representing all the pouches on his outfit and the shoulder pads Rob Leifeld Drew him with sometimes.
I think those white and yellow ones are for Shatterstar, who was in Deadpool 2 as well. He also had a lot of pockets on his outfit in the Liefeld era. :)

The shoe you said Thor is actually for the Bishop x men mutant character he has the M over his right eye and the red scarf on his neck like on the shoe. The one you said Magneto I think thats more like Hawkeye because of the H on the shoe and in the comics Hawkeye had a purple costume with an H on it.
As far as the shoes go - The green and yellow with yellow lightning bolt gives me more of a classic Electro vibe than Quicksilver. The blue and orange/brown shoe to the left of Pug's neck reminds me of Speedball from New Warriors. The blue, red and yellow shoe with the big 'M' on the side (left of Thing, above Green Goblin) makes me think of Ms. Marvel or even Bishop from 90's X-Men cartoon. The white and yellow shoe (above her head) with the pouch on the side makes me think of Liefeld's Shatterstar.

I believe the Green and Yellow shoes with the metal on them are Doctor Doom not Rogue or even Frog Man. The Yellow and Blue shoes with the chain are Luke Cage not Wolverine. The shoes above the Doctor Doom pair is Jack of Hearts She-Hulk's current love interest and fellow former Avenger. Above Green Goblin is Bishop. Also Green and Yellow with lightning bolts is Electro.

16:08 The one on the left of Captain America's shoe is definitely Cable. It has those extra pockets that Cable had in the comics. Also the Spidey shoe kinda looks like the Scarlet Spider (Peter's clone) from the comics.
I think those are for Shatterstar. He also had a lot of pockets and was in Deadpool 2 as well. Cable's outfit is usually blue and yellow, like his father, Cyclops'.

I'm pretty sure the sneaker to the left of Captain America sneakers are meant to be X-Forces Cable. The white could represent his white hair with the silver portion representing his metal arm the pattern is even similar to the ripples in the metal, there is a red X, & the tan ribbed portion on the back looks similar to Cables boots & shoulder pads & the dead give away is the tactical pouch that has a striking resemblance to Cables tactical pouches all over his uniform. I'm a huge Cable fan & immediately felt that those sneakers represented him. Also it's to the left of Deadpool which they are always together as enemies or frenemies in the comics.
Definitely that Daredevil helmet scene for sure really got me , and I was really like “YES our Boy Daredevil is back!!!”
The Spider-Man trainers are the Scarlet-Spider which you can tell from classic outfit colouring and below them are Moon Knight from the look of them. Though it is crazy how many trainer references they are for characters not seen in the MCU yet

@@Lilc97Jax Comics and Netflix Daredevil. He's a costume designer who became supervillain The Gladiator who then reforms with Murdock's help.
If I remember correctly, during Season 3 of the Netflix Daredevil show (which is canon to the MCU) Melvin had to leave the city because of the Kinpin's grip, so it makes sense that Matt is looking for another tailor. Not to mention that the red suit name was tarnished by Bullseye's actions during S3, so him wanting a different color one also makes sense.
In regards to the shoes, I thought the ones referencing Rogue looked more like Dr. Doom to me. Maybe I’m looking too much into it, but the Thor shoes reminded me more of Bishop because it has the M on the side of it. The letter could reference Miljoner but who knows.

The yellow DD costume in the comics comes from his father's ringside robe, red and yellow being his father's colors. So its DD's homage to his father. Who knows they might mention that in the episode. I will be very happy if they do :)
The ones that you labeled as Thor are Ms marvel ones cause there’s a lightning bolt on the side but it’s just not colored in. There are actual captain marvel shoes one or two rows down from that. Thor shoes can be seen to the far mid right. I suspected the brown and red ones might be blade but I think the Dora Milage is a better guess. The “rogue” shoes look like Dr Doom shoes cause of the green and silver for his armor and robes, and the golden circles with the chain is for his iconic cape holder or whatever it’s called. The pink and purple ones are Hawkeye with the H on it. I could be wrong but that’s just what I thought they were. Great video tho, love your content! I’ll never understand why people think this show is so bad. It’s by far one of the most enjoyable Disney + marvel shows I’ve seen so far. Ironically, there was a what if comic way back when where spider man figured out where daredevil was blind as a spin on the comic where daredevil fought electro (who I think the green shoes with yellow lightning are for) in the Baxter building when the FF weren’t home. Spider man ended up coming to help him and finish off electro. The main thing I remember about that issue is that spider man commented on daredevils bright yellow suit being a more obvious choice since he literally can’t see colors and I hope they’ll play off of that in the next episode, which I’m sure I’ll also enjoy your review of.

Its not scattered. Its a straight up single storylined episodes. And its building to her wanting to be a superhero and/or accepting she needs to become one. Until then ita a different case each week w a slight thread to carry over. Not all shows are serialized.

Personally the appeal for me seeing the rest of the mcu get thrown into the courtroom and the themes of the show. I get they need a story for Jane but if it were down to me it would be even more scattered
Someone may have mentioned this already (too many comments to scan!) but the meta-within-a-meta gag with Josh Segarra's Pug character COULD be referencing back to the Lance Arroyo character he played in the two seasons of The Other Two (HBO). His character there was a kind of goofy simple but sweet guy who becomes a fashion sensation when he gets into designing novelty footwear.
I think the solid yellow shoes might be Iron Fist? The most recognizable part of his costume is his yellow mask. Idk tho

This show is so meta that I literally laughed out loud. Especially the LA lifestyle Easter eggs i.e. all the pop ups, everyone has a “guy” with connections, kardashian type influencers selling crap 🤣🤣🤣
To the right of the hulk shoes I think they're dr dooms. But I wouldn't take any of these easter eggs as cannon. I really want to see that the x-men were just living on the down low with professor x helping hide mutants with his telepathy perhaps also with the help of a 616 Illimani or some sort of secret government task force for mutants, eventually having mutants outed. Marvel could do a really good job of introducing the sentinels having them threaten pretty much all superheros an earth maybe even throw Ultron back into the mix idk cause robots. Basically another civil war leading to sentinel-ultron.
Seriously Charlie, doing reviews for average shows like this, and not even looking at Superman and Lois or Sandman from DC, is a travesty

When they first enter the Superhero ‘clothing room’ there is a person on screen receiving a new costume and leaving.
Then on the next camera angle you see him get a little lost when leaving.
Surly that is a reference to something. Any thoughts?
Well, I'm bummed. I didn't have the subtitles on so I heard "Kingsley" instead of "Tinsley." I thought we were getting a certain super villain who was also a fashion designer.
There was what looked like a blue 'Beast' mask in Alonzo's room and behind the mask were beak-like masks (a few in a row) reminiscent of Khonshu from Moon Knight.
I'm disappointed that we didn't get any cameos or post credit scene in this episode. It seemed shorter than the others.
When She-Hulk went to see Alonzo. The outfit next the door could be for the female in Moon Knight.
The camera focused alot of the knight armor. That may be for the Black Knight Armor. The grass skirt, could be Wakanda.

The shoes you called Thor shoes are for Bishop. Next to Magneto is Gambit. Between Captain America and Wolverine is for Cable. Thor shoes are actually two below Deadpool. Immediately below Deadpool maybe silver surfer?the Green and white ones about Bishop are definitely Doctor doom. The Brown and Red ones likely aren’t Dora shoes. More likely Juggernaut. Below that is maybe Omega Red? Below that’s is maybe Kraven, but could be a really obscure Opar the Leopard reference. Or maybe beast.
i think the wolverine shoes look more like the original Luke cage costume from the comics with the metallic piece being his old headband, the blue and red shoes above the green goblin being for bishop from the x-men since you can make out the M he has on his face, and i think the shoes to the left of the magneto shoes are either for gambit solely because of the marking that to me resembles an ace of spades.
I'm pretty sure the "Thor" shoes you mentioned are actually the X-Man Bishop. Also, the white, yellow, and red shoes are for X-Force member Shatterstar (the pocket on the side of the shoe gives it away) who was in Deadpool 2.
Ah, this episode brings me back so many years ago, when Reebok was supposed to have a deal with Marvel for all the super heroes themed shoes. Just never happened for some reason.

Could the silver ones beneath Deadpool be silver surfer or maybe the silver samurai??
Beneath the Deadpool shoes are the shiny silver Silver Surfer shoes, and beneath those are the classic Thor shoes (blue with the silver discs, red at the top for the cape). Above the Green Goblin, the blue shoes with the red sash and the big M are Ms. Marvel shoes. The blue with gold filled with circles shoes just behind Pug's head are Speedball shoes. I think the green with yellow lightning shoes under Namor's are intended to be Electro shoes, as that's his classic costume colors. Quicksilver had a green costume and a blue one, but they both had silver lightning bolts on them. I believe the grey shoes with a green cloak-like accent to the right of the Moon Knight shoes are Doctor Doom shoes. I think the top row shoes above the Hulk shoes are Nighthawk shoes (blue and red costume with gold accents). The shoes just to the left of Captain Americas are so festooned with pouches that they just about have to be Cable shoes. I think the crimson and dark red shoes to the left of the Doctor Strange shoes are Juggernaut shoes, because they have a look and color scheme reminiscent of his classic armor.
I loved the episode and all the teases for things to come. Can't wait to see Daredevil

Actually, the Daredevil costume appears to have a mask that looks more like a helmet that is molded to fit his face. Whether Netflix DD's costume is built like that IDK, but it seems radically different beyond the color.

At the time of this comment, all I remembered was whether he had an approximately appropriate costume or not. The color seemed to blend, and all I remembered was a mask similar to Ben Affleck Daredevil's (aka seemed like one piece of leather-like material). I haven't watch the Daredevil series since it came out, so seeing it in a two-tone form like on She-Hulk seemed great, but radically different (and more comic-like). Going back to pictures of the Netflix version, I agree it's the same (other than color). I never realized how helmet-like it was until the color made it pop.

The red/pastel blue above Green Goblin are X-Men's Bishop the "M" is to represent the M for Mutant branding scar from AoA, the Pure Yellow between that pair & the Nova Pair I believe are designed like Prof X's Hover Chair* the Green & Yellow you said were Quicksilver is actually the classic Electro design as well as a Moonknight pair under Spider-man, the ones you described as Falcon are likely correct but could also be Alpha Flight, my faves are 100% Ghost-Rider's kicks though(a look at my profile pic may clue you into as why lol)

David Otunga was not just a lawyer or wrestler. We first met him in the 2000's as "Punk" a contestant on season's 2 "I Love New York",a reality dating show. Which was a spin off of "Flavor of Love". After being eliminated he would then go on to marry the EGOT winner, Jennifer Hudson. They were married for 10 years before divorcing in 2017. He's done tons of tv, reality series, and films throughout his career.
He's perfect for this show as a cameo appearance.
I've been thinking since antman's appearance in the Hawkeye broadway show that the disney plus shows may be each happening in different universes. There seems to be something off with the character inclusions for each one. I think these will end up being some of the Easter eggs that start to tie things together in the next phase. Loving it so far!

I found myself watching this episode and remembering how a few years ago Kylie Jenner tried to trademark her name Kylie for products (including a beauty line) and i believe had some ridiculous lawsuit against the singer Kylie Minogue using the name Kylie on her products. Despite the fact Kylie Minogue had been using her name on products and promotions before Kylie Jenner was even born and as it was both their real names there was no basis for the lawsuit.
Can't remember the exact details of how it all went but I think that's roughly what happened.

my fan theory as to how the X-Men could join the Marvel Cinematic Universe:
keep First Class, Days of Future Past, Apocalypse, Dark Phoenix, Deadpool 1 & 2, New Mutants in the Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline as there is a massive gap between 1963-1995
with the Dark Phoenix cast appearing in Deadpool 1&2, these films can happen after the events of Dark Phoenix and since Essex Corps is referenced in New Mutants, this could happen in the Dark Phoenix timeline
after these events, Professor X uses Cerebro to convince the world that mutants don't exist and erase any new mutant activities from people's minds whenever one is witnessed. however the only person who knows is Nick Fury, who agrees with Professor X to keep tabs on any new mutant activity. this is also referenced in a deleted scene from Iron Man 1, when Nick mentions X-Men
the X-Men can work in secret between 1992 up until Endgame. when Tony Stark snaps his fingers, the mind stone reverses the effects of Professor X's actions. resulting in the public now remembering who the X-Men are
as for Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, Hydra's meddling with the mind stone prematurely reversed Professor X's actions, as it was mentioned that the mind stone unlocks dormant abilities already present in the brain
my theory brings the Dark Phoenix X-Men cast into the MCU, thus eliminating the need to recast the entire X-Men team. the actors are young, they've expressed interest in returning and continuing their roles. it's an option for Marvel Studios to do that
I've explained my theory to a lot of people, most of whom say it works. others say it won't work and demand i should forget everything about the Fox X-Men films and be happy with what Disney/Marvel Studios are going to do with the X-Men
I will probably receive a lot of negative feedback about my theory, nothing is set in stone, if Marvel Studios can bring back JK Simmons as J Jonah Jameson, why won't they bring back the Dark Phoenix cast?
there are multiple websites that support my theory, along with the Iron Man 1 deleted post credit scene. not only that, something similar happened in the comics (Robert Reynolds/Sentry and Gabriel Summers/Vulcan)
since Days of Future Past rewrote the timeline, X-trilogy/Wolverine trilogy no longer take place as the ending to Dark Phoenix doesn't connect to the original trilogy, leaving it open for possible future sequels. as I mentioned, the Dark Phoenix cast could return and continue

The shoes on the top shelf above the hulk shoes are for gambit, in the top right from left to right are frog man, wolverine, storm and captain America. The solid gold ones are for Adam warlock.

Great video. I think there was a few mistakes in the sneaker Easter egg breakdown. I’m sure but cannot verify that the yellow and green shoes with the lightning bolt could be referring to Electro. Also, purple top right that you said were magneto, I think those are for Hawkeye. Hawkeye classic costume. The ones above the green goblin shoes seem more like Bishop from X-men with the colors and the M. Similar to Bishop’s M shaped scar on his eye.
You are correct, I, too thought Hawkeye over Magneto for those sneakers. It isn't an "M", but an "H", like the top of the classic Hawkeye mask, emblazoned on the side of the sneaker.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but the shoes thing is JUST a tease. These character's don't all exist within the MCU yet. The existence of this scene is meant to be only a tease for future and current characters at best. Its done as a sketch panel during the credits because had they filmed a real scene of Pug showing his shoes to Nikki that would properly canonize the shoes and THEN you could say these characters have precedence for existing in the MCU currently. But as a fun little sketch scene at the end of the episode its just showing off his "collection" which may or may not be canon. But until the real reveal of F4 and X-Men in the MCU happens (which may in fact gaslight all of us saying they were here the whole time) this scene proves nothing other than being a fun nod to all the IP's Marvel can throw around.
The fireproofing suit could also be another ghost rider Easter egg plus there’s a leather biker jacket lurking in the background of his shop

Great vid as usual. I loved the Xmen Bishop kicks with that M on them. The Hawkeye shoes were meh though lol. I think the solid blue behind Pug was Speedball from New Warriors...... hell I don't know. Alot of Xmen ref's though. Keep the great vids coming!

I think the green and yellow that you mentioned for Rouge may be Dr Doom shoes. Checking out the grey/ metalic color that looks like a suit of armor.
It makes sense that they already exist. Especially for future wars. I don't think the fans could take another origin story for at least 30 more years

Fuck the haters, this is one of the best Marvel shows to date. Thank god they chose to do something different while referencing tv classics but speaking perfectly to modern times. Even my GF sitting beside me last night started Perrin in at my screen being like “This is Marvel?? Why’s it so… weird!? And funny?” Kudos to the whole team.
I believe the shows you referenced as Magneto are actually Hawkeye's. The purple letter is actually an "H", and you can see the classic mask profile above the tongue of the sneaker to the left and right.
I think the Quicksilver shoes are actually electro shoes, they match more with his pattern scheme
I would like to believe the sneaker designer is a variation of Kang. Iron Lad? Yes, Iron Lad lived in a future where the “new characters” existed so he made the other shoes as special editions to be seen as prophetic.
