How Big Would A Real Batman Be: Fact vs. Fiction

- There'a lot of talk on how big Batman would be if he was real. Did the comics get it right or would he need to be much bigger? To answer that question, we need to look at evidence from real life athletes who share some of the same physical and athletic qualities as Batman.
Watch the Blade Series:
Brute Strength Like Blade -
• Train Like Blade: Buil...
Stamina Like Blade -
• Train Like Blade: Supe...
Most places depict Batman as 6'2 210 to 260 lbs when he gets older he gets heavier slower, lower stamina but more powerful (dark knight returns comics) he is an absolute unit and i love that, Alan could definetly play him with small tweaks to his appearance
If Batman were real, he'd be more feared than he is in the comics, cartoons and film.
This was excellent my man
as a comic book fan whose only workout experience is a bunch of bodyweight stuff in my basement, I can tell you really know your stuff
keep up the killer videos
Appreciate it!
Love the video brother!
I would like to add a few things:
1. Bruce Wayne being 6'2 and 210lbs is not undersized by any means. A smaller but extremely strong guy will ragdoll anyone between 180lbs and 220lbs easily given enough skill and technique.
A 160lb olympic judoka threw me around when we grappled and i'm around 185lbs myself.
Bruce is master at several grappling martial arts, not only BJJ. If he's a black belt in Judo, JJJ, Sambo or Kudo. He will throw people around even if he's only 210lbs.
2. Bruce has to be 210lbs. End of question. Lightheavyweights in the UFC possess the best of both worlds. The skills, speed of a lighter weight and the strength and weight of a heavier weight.
Again, remember, Bruce has to fight criminals and then run from cops. Your average NFL player would manage this sure. But I just think being larger will put a bigger target on his back. But, i digress.
Bruce's weight could range around 210lbs to 230lbs. Nothing bigger or it will slow him down.
3. He is carrying heavy armor. A special forces soldier will carry around 60lbs to 100lbs worth of gear during missions. But I think with Wayne Enterprises funding, Bruce can reduce it down. Still, thats a kevlar composite armor, belt, cape he has to be wearing everytime he's on patrol. NFL, UFC, Rugby athletes will probably be exhausted beyond their limit if they do what they do with all the gear attached. In this case, I would say a Navy SEAL type of physique, a 10% bodyfat 210lbs is perfect.
Technically speaking he would have to lose Mom and Dad!!! (VIOLENTLY)!But awesome video, I going to subscribe.
I think this is the right idea, Batman being 6’2 210 is how it was established awhile ago, but if he’s bigger and stronger then most thugs and his rogues then yeah he’s probably around 6’4 245
It was very well researched, especially when factoring in the weight to height requirements.
Alexander Karelin, and Evander Holyfield I feel like would be pretty good examples. Power, strength and Stamina. Also good video.
Karelin is WAY bigger than Holyfield. But both are great examples of athleticism.
Great video bro, do you talk about game characters too? If so, could you make a video about Leon Kennedy from the 2023 Resident Evil 4 remake, his physique, performance, what the training would be like, etc.
Appreciate it! Definitely looking to make some more along those lines
But how would a batman that big fit in as Bruce Wayne? There's no way an absolute unit at 6'4" could keep an alternate identity secret.
Many 6'4 tall guys pass by you everyday without u noticing...try it you'll see.also Batman is not 6'4....DC says he's 6'2
@@wambokodavid7109Still too tall to blend in. Especially someone that high profile.
@@RyanG0899I disagree. The problem isn’t height, it’s muscle mass. Even so, he could say he works out to attract high society baddies, and his tuxedos can do the rest to undersell his mass & definition. People would think that he’s rich enough to pay nutritionists & workout trainers, so its easier for him to stay that fit.
he can probably say his muscles are implants and cover up with baggy suits
@@RyanG0899You’re forgetting that Gotham can’t see Bruce as Batman. Bruce has such a strong image of being a playboy, philanthropist, that nobody thinks he’d be crazy enough to be the Batman.
In fact, they all assumed Harvey Dent was Batman since he had a bigger frame than Bruce and he wasn’t a playboy, so he couldn’t say he worked out for the ladies. I actually don’t even know why Harvey was so big, tbh 😂
Probably look like a special forces soldier
I agree, hybrid athletes too
Those guys are normally not freaks like Batman would need to be, good athletes but significantly less athletic than top athletes
cool shit. I know he's not exactly a normal human but what about a real life master chief? Im thinking someone like giannis but even more jacked
Great idea 🦾
This just a very long video of showcasing that Ben Affleck was the most proper Batman
The best Batman
He definitely wasn't the most popular. Bale, Keaton, and Pattinson are rated higher than him by fans.
The only one who pulls ahead of Affleck is Conroy. And since he didn't have to worry about physique...
For as bad as Suicide Squad was, it showed just how good Affleck was as the character.
and its not only his genetics. he is a billionaire. and his iq is also extremely high. You cannot see someone like this outside of comic books or movies
iq aside. someone could probably be 6'2 billionaire and just start hitting some roids
@@michealjordan5236 maybe, but batman knows every fighting style. Yeah i wanted to know what his fighting style is and it turns out he know every single one of them
For sure, what you see Batman doing is unreal. The amount of money he’s said to spend on everything is insane and I agree about the IQ. He’d be the most gifted physically and intellectually person in the entire world. But still, in terms of just thinking about how big he’d need to be, it’s a fun thought experiment.
@@michealjordan5236can’t argue there - don’t think you’re wrong about the pharmaceutical enhancement. But there are plenty of people using all sorts of things that still don’t look or perform as top athletes. But if you have someone who is incredibly genetically gifted AND getting some extra laboratory help, well then you get something even freakier.
@@kristianivanov2049knowing and using them are different things.i know all martial arts actually just by looking at them I can tell what style u using(no lies no cap)but it doesn't mean I can do them.i trained in a few(14) tho that's all
I also think he’d need some steroids for either recovery or for athleticism. Probably for both, there isn’t a chance that he’d be able to keep up if he goes out night after night. Or he even more likely does actually have a superpower similar to captain America but watered down a bit
41 inch vertical is “mind blowing”?
Im hitting 56 without training more than a week at 6’1”
I gotta get more into some shit haha.
Doing more MMA now and am a Marine Veteran but still… maybe im better than i thought.
Dope video brother 🤙
I’ve always said that a realistic Batman wouldn’t be as big as he is in the comics.
I mean, look at Bruce Lee, can you imagine the type of training he has gone through, only to look so compact?
That’s why I think Robert Pattinson has the best looking Batman since he’s not too big or too small.
he’s a billionaire with crazy advanced resources, so I think it’s totally possible that he has access to designer performance enhancing drugs to give him the edge that he would need.
Access, sure, but it's more in character for him not to use them.
@@gelchert but with how driven he is why wouldn’t he take every advantage he can get to fight crime?
Honestly curious bc I haven’t read the comics
@micahpark8414 he took a form of venom before and then he got addicted or something and ended up just rotting and sitting around in his cave for a while until he recovered
@@lordskeletor4558 oh okay
Mike Tysons 5'10 - 5'11. I think height is a significant advantage, but maybe Batman could be 6'2 and still toss around large foes without being 6'4.
Bruce Wayne would have a similar physique to Prime Nick Diaz but bigger.
U forget the batman juice
Valid
I'd say batman would have to be built like a rugby player
batman would have no choice but to be black lmao
Matt Reeves should watch this video. Batman should not be skinny
Reeves Batman is like in year 2, do you know how long it takes to build muscle mass, Batman even being 210 lbs canonically is comical even at sub 8% body fat
Spec Ops soldiers don't look like Zyzz lol
@@wesleysmith9959 work harder look at bale Batman in Batman begins
@@CursedShinobiClown he's a comic book character
Supposedly, Pattinson didn't want to train like crazy for the role. And by "train," I think that means take all the PEDs that Hollywood action stars typically do to prep for roles.
