X23/Laura appearing was just so touching. They purposefully desecrated the end of Logan and yet still managed to find a brilliant, heartwarming way to continue her story.

Wade & Logan survive not by healing each other, but by sharing the load of the antimatter surge (like how the Guardians shared the energy load of the Power Stone). Together, they each only have to heal from half the surge power.

If you notice the sling ring Cassandra had, it had the red and green infinity stone attached to it, (TIME and REALITY), that's what made her able to open portals between universes. Dr. Strange do not have those stones in his possesion.

The weird thing is that in Loki and the TVA, the stones had no powers.

Blade's appearance in this movie was as satisfying to see as Steve Rogers wielding Mjolnir against Thanos in Endgame. The audience went NUTS when the Daywalker showed up!

We finally got to see wolverine fight like an animal with the crawling on all fours towards Deadpool . I personally enjoyed seeing him get stabbed thru the neck and every other part of his body an still go crazy

Ryan Reynolds has said he's not doing a 4th movie, but I think he'll pull an Iron Man and just show up outside of his own movies until the reboot where they recast most characters.

The fact that the production issues behind the scenes of blade have been going on for so long that a recent marvel movie was able to poke fun at it means that whatever issues are going on behind the scenes of blade must be really pervasive and ongoing... I would definitely watch a documentary on just what was the reason for the behind the scenes production hell for Blade

What i really appreciated about what you said is that each universe has its anchor character it really gives substance to why The Secret Wars will be a necessary evil to choose the best universes to survive. It will make Dr. Dooms reason a lot like Thanos' reason. Sacrifice for survival.

Their survival had nothing to do with being Anchors, When Deadpool regenerates his cells are replaced with dead cells, when Wolverine regenerates his cell are reborn / replaced with new cells, so they are basically matter / anti matter to each other

Is it just me, or in the post credits scene where we see Chris Evans slagging off Cassandra, they glance up to see a K.E.V.I.N. Robot in the cage (essentially the camera angle we were looking from)
It was only a split second but I read this as Wade using KEVIN to rewrite the scene to make him look better
I’ll have to watch it again but my first impression was just that Deadpool noticed they had a camera on them while Johnny was saying all that stuff (though Deadpool goads him) and thus Cassandra already knew Johnny was talking trash.
Multiverse didn’t branch from 616, 616 was isolated from the multiverse prior the events of Loki.
In fact, this movie finally did a lot of necessary legwork that’s been missing in the distinction between universes and timelines throughout Loki. Deadpool, Wolverine, all the Fox films are an individual universe with their own contained timelines, and it seems the TVA post Loki now monitor the wider multiverse while preserving the sacred timeline 616 universe. Paradox was running a rogue operation, accelerating the end of several universes, probably knocking on the doors of every hero who’s anchor died before Deadpool with the same offer, which is how we have Blade, Laura, Elektra, Torch, etc cameos, ultimately setting the stage for the wider conflict to the come.
22:05 looks like Cassandra’s version of the sling ring had both time and reality infinity stones on which might explain how it allows for multiverse travel?
Just a theory, i think Cassandra Nova is giving the idea of Battleworld. I think Dr. Doom will use the void as his own world. And will use Alioth. We don't know if the sling ring got destroyed. It will be used on the next Avenger movie for sure. :)

The Chris Evans Human Torch we see in this movie is a variant from the OG Fox Fantastic 4 universe. The logo's different and on a different part of the suit.

No way man... The Logan movie happened in 2016 in our Deadpool's cannon. He talks about Logan dying throughout the whole movie. Everyone in his world heard about it and it made wolverine THE hero in that universe. The skeleton he's desicrating is THAT wolverine. This new Wolverine is from a completely different timeline that Deadpool brought back to his(the OG fox) universe. This is now the only the only living wolverine in that timeline. @10:00

If I haven't misinterpreted this, in the MCU the term Nexus Being refers to a singular character that exists in every Universe, while an Anchor Being is essentially what the Comics referred to as a Nexus Being, a character intrinsic to One specific Universe.
That's how I understand it as well
Avengers 5 is almost certainly Avengers vs. X-Men, I assume Deadpool Wolverine & X-23 will cross over to Earth-616.
We're never getting the mutants in the MCU. Disney blew many chances at making a proper multiverse saga and introducing mutants to the MCU.

Because even then the point of the movie was how somebody higher than Paradox told him to make sure DP survives and is moved to the sacred timeline because his is dying.
I agree it will be Avengers v X-Men, but which universe of X-men is the question. At the end of the Marvels, Monica Rambeau is stranded in an X-Men universe with Hank McCoy tending to her. I don't think that was universe 100055, or was it?

Anchor beings make no sense, since any being will always die, so all universes would die. Maybe Paradox was lying to motivate Deadpool.
I think the idea is that the universe will end eventually
It does make sense, anchor beings when they die naturally doesn’t disrupt the timelines… only when they sacrifice that sends ripples through their timeline thread. Not a hard concept to understand.
So in universe, Wolverines death in Logan was such a big moment that it essentially broke the universe...
if you take the concept off the screen, the anchor being is the focal point of the movie franchise. The plot essentially happens around them. Wolverine is the "anchor" for the Xmen movies so when he died in Logan it was a clear sign that the franchise had run its course. This is the reason for Deadpool not being able to "resurrect" him by digging him up and instead having to replace him.
In replacing him Deadpool created a branch timeline and then Wolverine & Deadpool created a cannon event by saving the universe together and if my fictional multiverse maths is right all of that makes the two of them nexus beings in the middle of a cannon event which then makes them the anchors for this new timeline going forwards, which in turn prevents them dying with the Fox Xmen franchise and makes them available for a new franchise going forward A.k.a Marvel.

The line about daredevil being dead and Elektra being like eh whatever. They couldn’t have two current daredevils I think so they did it that way. Spiderman puts a wrench in that thought process though.

Around the same time as the scene when Elektra and the rest appeared, there was a car flushed with fire -- flaming wheels and everything -- and I thought the same thing. Even a name drop would have been perfect.

i like this but i have a theory...... deadpool has a death factor not a healing factor cos it replaces dead cells with more dead cells and wolverines healing factor replaces healthy cells with more so my theory is..... deadpool went for the blue cylinder which was antimatter and wolverine was connected to the matter cylinder, deadpools death factor is like antimatter and wolverines is matter so when they bonded it was a constant death and regeneration at the same time creating a feedback loop which destroyed the time ripper but since there was 2 people that had regeneration the power going into them would be split like when the guardians of the galaxy held hands to split the power of an infinity stone and the explosion they would of survived due to the regeneration

Saw it today, and it was great. Yes, there’s some plot holes, and some things that you just have to turn your brain off for, BUT this a DP movie, and you simply have to understand that it’s NOT going to be some high brow, next level film making like The Godfather or something.
It was A LOT of fun, and since it’s probably Hugh Jackman’s last go around as Wolvie, it was a fun way to go out with it.

such a missed opportunity to not have miss minute in it, Loki had such an amazing explanation to everything. I loved Deadpool & Wolverine, and I know more people are going to see it, but the impact Loki S2 had on me was insane. Everything was so meaningful in Loki, the friendships, the relations, the pressure of universes being on verge of vanishing from existence. This movie was tagged a friendship movie but I wished it created same kind of impact Loki created, still all love for this movies.
