No human could have fixed the psychological connections my brain had formed with connecting sexual desires to men....but GOD can and He does daily. I dont know you but you should really give God a shot at fixing whatever it is you struggle with because NOTHING is too hard for Him! @@shawnroberts3320 then riddle me this why when I was Christan I was given a diagnosis for depression and it stayed like that for around 20 months yet when I stopped going to church after only a month it was gone and I know that this is connected because I had been taking therapy sessions every week since I got the diagnosis and the Sunday I stopped going my therapist made a note of it and after month she said that my depression was all but gone and the only change I made in my life had been not going to church and after 2 weeks I became a atheist
Sounds more like "god" was causing bad things to happen and besides most of those places that try to turn gays into straight people are using the bible and it's belief structure

But what it sounds like, at least to me, is that you were seeking religion rather than a relationship with Jesus. Seeking religion with no relationship, and all the rules attached to it, always leads to rebellion and, in turn, causes SEVERE depression because you'll always realize you can never meet the criteria required to be "perfect." A relationship with God is different in that we realize that God understands we aren't perfect and we will never be perfect. Instead, He gives us undeserved grace and mercy when we slip. Thats why He sent Jesus. Jesus loves you so so SOOOO much and the enemy is only trying to get you to believe God caused bad things to happen to you. The Bible reveals to us that God causes all things to work together for the GOOD of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. It also states that that God knows the plans He has for ALL of us. Plans to proser us and not to harm us. Plans to give us a hope and a future.

The goodnews there's Creator who create The whole universe and the life. He create us like in His own image He called us His Masterpiece. He loves, cares and gaves us everything we need. But the bad news is we rebelled on Him , we deny Him , we curse Him and suddenly the world changes at all because of our Sins. The Glory of God has been take away because of our sins we deserve curse and punishment. But here's the Goodnews after all the curse and punishment that we may been experience in our life but He show the riches of His mercy and grace by giving His own life in the 2000 years ago the Creator our God became a human It was Jesus Christ from Nazareth he's perfect and sinless man who gave his life on the cross to take the punishment for the sin of the world and you may not know it at all. We all break the God's law or we called a moral and Jesus paid it all to fine and that's what happen on a cross. He literally shows the Justice, Love, Mercy, Grace and importantly the Salvation he saves us from curse,sin&death.
Man. How could i not serve the God that created me and even when im against him forgive me. I would be foolish not to. I will praise the LORD until i have my last breath.

JESUS SAVES
God the Son (Jesus Christ) has given us the gospel to share with the world.
Mark chapter 16: Verse 15: "And He said unto them, Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."
How can anyone hear the "good" news? Romans chapter 10: verse 17 "Then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." (We receive the "word" in many ways. The "Word" is Jesus Christ!); John 1:1-5 The Spirit teaches through the Word)
Isaiah chapter 7: verse 14: "Therefore the LORD shall give you a sign; behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and call His name Immanuel." Hebrew: עִמָּנוּאֵל, "God with us" in human flesh but without sin. The Savior of the world was born to die for our sins! He did so 33 years later. His terrible ordeal; body mutilated; blood poured out, finally died (John chapter 19 verse 30; Luke chapter 26:verse 46 ) and was placed in a tomb and rose from the dead the 3rd day ! "HE IS RISEN" Matthew chapter 28: verse 6.
Isaiah chapter 53: verse" 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all." - IT IS FOUNDED UPON GOD'S LOVE FOR MAN AND WOMAN HE CREATED
John chapter 3: Verse 16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

THE PAYMENT BY HIS BLOOD FOR ALL SINS EVER!

Romans chapter 5:verse 8 " But God demonstrates his love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, now justified by his blood, we will be saved from wrath through him."

BY GOD'S GRACE ALONE THROUGH FAITH ALONE IN JESUS CHRIST ARE WE SAVED
Ephesians chapter 2:verse 8 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 not of works, lest any man should boast."
Jesus died to pay the penalty for our sins and rescue us from eternal death. Because of Jesus' death on our behalf, all we have to do is believe in Him, trusting in His death and in the shedding of His blood as payment for our sins, as well as in His burial and resurrection from the dead the third day, and we will be saved! John chapter 20: verses 24-31; See also 1 Corinthians chapter 15: Verses 3-4 above.
WHOSOEVER BELIEVES SHALL TESTIFY TO THE TRUTH
Romans 10:
9 That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For with the heart man believes in righteousness; And a confession by mouth is given for salvation.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Salvation and forgiveness of sins is the blessing of anyone who believes in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We receive the baptism of God the Holy Spirit immediately which seals us in Christ and that is permanent! Ephesians chapter 1: verse 13-14. Those who reject the free gift of salvation, see John chapter 3: verse 16 above, "perish", which means their sins are judged by God the Son and they suffer eternal separation from God and the family of God forever called the "second death". Revelation chapter 21: verse 8.
"Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." Romans chapter 5:verse 1

Grace is a common word in Christian culture (think “saved by grace” or “amazing grace”), but did you know that “gracious,” as a description of God’s character, first appears in the Old Testament? The ancient Hebrew word for grace (Hebrew: khen) describes something that is elegant looking or beautiful, like a deer (Proverbs 5:19) or a necklace (Proverbs 3:22). These beautiful objects generate a response of favor in the viewer, and that’s actually how the word is often translated.
In the Hebrew Bible, to show someone grace is to treat them as the object of your delight or to show them generous favor. This meaning is very common in stories about people who like each other (like Jonathan and David in 1 Samuel 20:29). But what’s more surprising is when this word is used for someone “showing khen” to a person who doesn’t deserve it. We see this when Jacob asks his brother Esau for khen twenty years after cheating and lying to him (Genesis 33:8-10), or when David asks God for khen after committing murder and adultery (see Psalm 51:1). And it is this meaning-undeserved favor and delight-that is the focus of Exodus 34:6 when God calls himself gracious.
God’s essential character is generous and giving, showing favor and delight to people even when they don’t deserve it. This idea of grace as an undeserved gift is also used in the New Testament. The apostles saw Jesus as the most amazing gift! John actually paraphrases Exodus 34:6 when he says that Jesus, the God of Israel become human, was “full of grace.” Jesus is the very incarnation of God’s generous delight. And, of course, grace became an all-important theme in the teachings and writings of the apostle Paul, who himself experienced the “abundant grace of our Lord” (1 Timothy 1:13-14) when he least deserved it. And if that was true for him, it’s true for anyone else. Or, in his words to the Ephesians, “It is by grace that you have been delivered” (Ephesians 2:8).

I've always known grace to mean gift but I never considered it to mean favor.

Sebastian Simoes if you are trusting in God as your Saviour through Jesus alone then you could say: Sebastian is full of grace. You talk about Mary as though saving grace comes from her, when it is only given by God. Mary is full of grace because she is trusting in God her Saviour. But if you are Catholic then you will not see Mary videos on this channel as they remain true to scriptures not Catholic traditions.

In my own experience, listening to secular music and immersing myself in worldly content makes my mental and spiritual health suffer. When I started listening to sermons and focusing on the things of God, I started feeling better mostly because I’m drawing closer to Him and seeking to know Him. I want to recommend these channels: Living Waters, Cross Examined, Wretched, Cold-Case Christianity. And the “Hell’s Best Kept Secret” sermon :) Listening to Christian music also helps lift my spirit and to heal some depression. A friend sent me one of your videos about the various Satan's about a week ago. I watched another of your shows that was in my suggested video box. It blew me away. I love how you always bring the topic full circle back to Jesus, & I see the love you have for Him. And the love He has for you is apparent in your messages & how He gives you His scriptures to validate the teachings. I subscribed & got my 1st notification today, but only caught the last few minutes
Going back to watch the message now. But, I want to thank you for keeping Jesus 1st. I see so many Christians listening to messages of fear & confusion, because their focus is so heavily placed on the current events of the day. Sometimes I don't even hear the name Jesus mentioned throughout the whole message. And every other paragraph is either Biden or Trump. But, you really seem to keep the focus on Jesus. Please pray for me. I've been suffering skin problems as a teenage girl. Most of my peers has flawless skin, and with mine I felt uncomfortable and I lost all my confidence.
But I do not linger on that thought.
Jesus is my healer. He is full of mercy and grace. By His name I will be healed. Just let Him touch my face and He will grant me a brand new skin. All I ask is to be healed. Jesus is the best doctor. I believe in Him. For years I've been suffering this, it's time to come to the Lord Jesus Christ to renew me inside and out. He is the miracle worker after all!

Yep. One of my pastors defined grace as "undeserved kindness, freely bestowed."
That's right, we canot *earn* grace. The question of the day is *"Who gets God's mercy and grace?"*
God's mercy and grace are *promised* -not earned- to those who *merit* it by *obeying God's instructions:*
⚫ "And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent" (Acts 17:30)
⚫ "He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy." (Proverbs 28:13)
⚫ "Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him . . . " (Isaiah 55:7)
If we'll obey and come to God in repentance, we will enter God's mercy and grace, as promised. Our past sins will be blotted out:
⚫ "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord" (Acts 3:19, NKJV).
How will we enter "the presence of the Lord"? By receiving the holy spirit, which is given "to them that obey him" and "repent":
⚫ "And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him." (Acts 5:32)
⚫ "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." (Acts 2:38)
If we have commited to confessing and forsaking sin, we are given the holy spirit to help lead us out of slavery to sin. Through the holy spirit Jesus will lead us out of slavery to sin - and into His righteousness (Hebrews 12:11) - as long as we abide in Him and follow the holy spirit (Romans 8:13,14). Jesus says
⚫ "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent." (Jesus, in Revelation 3:19)
And as long as we abide in Him in repentance and "walk . . . after the spirit" we remain in justification -not under condemnation:
⚫ "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." (Romans 8:1)
While we abide in Him in repentance and "walk . . . after the spirit" we have the hope of salvation: the promised gift of eternal life, to be received - by grace - at Jesus' "revelation," His return:
⚫ "But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ" (Paul, in 1 Thessalonians 5:8,9).
⚫ "And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life" (1 John 2:25).
⚫ "Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;" (1 Peter 1:13)
While we abide in Him in repentance and "walk . . . in the light" we remain in justification, and He continues to cover - with His blood - what sins we might commit:
⚫ "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." (1 John 1:7)
Outside of abiding in Him in repentance, we remain outside His promised mercy, grace and redemption. We will perish, paying our own death penalty. That's why Jesus warned
⚫ "except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish." (Jesus, in Luke 13:5)
Peter makes it clear: come to repentance, or else perish:
⚫ "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." (2 Peter 3:9)
Jesus told His disciples to preach "repentance and remission of sins" . . . not "faith alone" . . . not "faith + nothing = salvation":
⚫ "Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
And that *repentance and remission of sins* should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem." (Luke 24:45-47)
Jesus made His death, His blood, available as a ransom (the noun, Matthew 20:28) . . . available - by grace - to cover the death penalty we earn for sin. We can have that mercy and grace - as promised - if we *"through"* faith (Eph 2:8) will decide to "come to God" (Hebrews 11:6) on His terms, confessing and forsaking sin (Proverbs 28:13).
I am so thankfull that God gave me such a loving savior as Jesus Christ and im so thankfull that Jesus Christ gave his life for me.
Without Jesus Christ there would be no hope.
Jesus puts a smile on my heart and a comfort in my sole.

The Father gives grace as a gift, and a changed heart lives out this generosity and shows this trait to others- even enemies. Mercy triumphs over judgment in the disciple's heart.
I made a promise straight to God’s face about a week ago that I would give something up, starting that day, forever. Something I won’t get into here but it’s indeed sinful.
Today, I broke that promise and knowing it was one I made to God (as opposed to a neighbor, say), it left me with deep, deep regret. I gave myself what I deserved by disallowing myself of certain things, which ultimately will, unfortunately, affect how I’ll be able to do Christmas gifts this year. So my self-inflicted punishment actually bled over onto other people, so it was ultimately a selfish act.
This video brought to light that God is graceful and all I need to do is ask, even if I break his heart like that. I knew that character trait about him but this video was an excellent reminder, so thank God for the Bible Project!

Forgiveness and mercy come from you, my lord. However, I am only human, and therefore I am not able to extend your love to everyone that needs it. And sometimes, it may be harmful for us to love one another in our human ways. Very good production! I recently received a gift from God that was so unexpected that it stunned me. It was so, so much better than anything I'd imagined before that it made my eyes wet. We can't imagine how much better His Paradise is than what we can describe or envision; it beggars our imagination. Jesus says in Matthew 19:29 that if we leave parents, siblings, and others for God's sake that we "...will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life." The joy, glory, riches, and power of this is far beyond our mind's grasp.
I learned that one should: Own your failures and be responsible for your mistakes. Thank you! To God be the Glory!
