Top quality instruction:No ego, no assumptions, no bull. All of these programmes are tools at the end of the day, this video teaches a good workflow to start working with colour and tone in a non - destructive and measured way. It is genuinely informative and takes things back to basics. Thanks very much.
My new favorite editor channel. I was about to buy an expensive color grading program but FCX have everything I need. I just save almost $200. Man, thanks you
Color grading has always been a rabbit hole of an experience for me. Too easy to spend hours obsessing over it with a fear of a point of no return. This video helps a lot
Game changer. Knew a little of the basic but this definitely added value to my color work flow. I’m gonna give grading another try. Thanks again bro! 🤜🏽🤛🏾
To be honest I don’t know how to say thank you for this video. I have been struggling with color grading in fcp x but now I feel like a colorist already. THANK YOU 🙏🏾
Excellent video! I have been colour correcting my videos for a while. But never actually getting into colour grading! This video is so clear and makes all the sense now. "That's why they call it a colour grade. Because there's lots of layers to it" - this honestly made my mind go Of Course! Thanks!
Great tutorial. I wish we could rename the Color Wheel adjustments in FCP, like to "skin" , "background" etc. it would make organizing so much easier! One can dream :)
Hi great video, question I am trying to isolate the subject skin tones from the background, mask I am following the directions in your video but when I try to color the background my subject also are changing color with the background? When I invert my background my color is still effecting my subject, What I am doing wrong?
Hi, very helpful. Thanks! @7:50 how did you know which wheel to choose from the four? I'm guessing since it's the background (ie darker) you chose the shadows wheel? Are skins always midtowns wheel?
I use the C200. I have a question. I made my library into a normal rec 709 library instead of a WIDE DR library because I noticed that when I upload to youtube it would distort the quality of the wide dr videos. Thoughts on this? Am I missing something?
Great video! I'm noticing that when I copy and paste effects, the color mask is getting all sorts of wonky on the pasted clip. Did you experience that as well? I used two identical clips just to test it out.

So If im using the DJI Osmo Action 5 pro in D-Log M 10 bit I should use the DJI D-Log Camera lut? Im trying it but not sure if that is correct.

Perfect thank!
bro have u got pre made luts for final cut for me
Great video... thanks for sharing 👏
good stuff man. I didn't know you could use multiple color wheels and apply as masks to specific areas. Great stuff.
For some reason mine doesn't offer rec 709 to apply. The histogram doesn't' come up either. Anyone have any help with this?
Bro.. so helpful!
How do you get to the colour grading screen? Final cut doesn't just open up like that
This is a great tutorial. It helps me a whole lot. But i still dont know why my Luma and RGB Parade is facing down?
When I am in final cut, the area to the left of my video where you see the levels of color from -20 to 120 - it's not there. How can I access this?
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!! 🙏🏽
New Subbie here!!!! ⭐️

is there any third-party plug in there to support one-click color and exposure correction? something like the Lightroom auto mode?
