It's nice to see someone who appreciates the same same things I do. Only difference is I do it while cycle touring in as many remote areas as I can. And once again you have shared more exciting cooking ideas. Thank you yet again. Looking forward to part two 😊
I know that this pan is made for the 25 but I accidentally bought it and I have a 27.but to my surprise it fits on the 27 perfectly it's a tiny bit high but fits inside the little clips just right. To travel with it I just put in on top of the 27 fry pan with a dish cloth in between. It works great and makes the 27 more use full without being as big as the 25.love it good video as always.
My Trangia cooking guru! Very nicely done mate! The “I am being tolerant..no I really am being tolerant” look on your face and the bowed head silence was pure Wittgenstein. Looking forward to breakfast.
What can I say, I too was young and foolish once. Now I have evolved and am no longer young... If all goes according to plan breakfast will be served friday next week. By that time maybe you already has followed in the footstep of Supertramp..? All the best!
that looked really good. Thank you for directing me here. The reason I was asking about powder Alfredo was because I wanted to have less perishable stuff and be able to store it. Your videos are very enjoyable, peaceful and informative. Thanks for taking the time to share this. hope you are well .
Thank you for your kind words Jim! I rarely use powdered or freeze dried, powdered milk the exception, but I appreciate your reasons. For multiday hikes my usual kind of outdoor cooking isn't ideal for the reasons you mention, I have made my own dehydrated food on a few occasions and thought I'd eventually make a video on the topic DIY dehydration in an ordinary oven the coming autumn. Cheers!
👍👍👍 .. nice 😊. Pasta is an Old Faithful. Lots of options, simple to prepare and comforting on the stomach. Am looking forward to Part 2. Thanks for sharing .. take care ..
As long as you have access to water it's very practical, weighing little and taking a lot less space than the finished meal and as you point out no end of variations. All the best Thomas!
Love the video. A few comments. Perfect conditions for the ‘storm cooker’ This is the first I’ve seen the sauce pan, I’m definitely going to get one. Love your mini grater. Funny the canoers going by kids😊
Thank you for another thoroughly enjoyable video! And thank you for the information about the sauce pan. I haven't seen any here in the states. I will definitely look into purchasing one. It is unfortunate that the Trangia storm cooker is not as popular here. Is is certainly a versatile and bulletproof system.
Glad it was helpful Zachary. I guess that it's not so strange that other system are more popular, we tend to be at least a bit patriotic with our purchases, wether it's outdoor equipment, tools, car or clothes. The domestic stuff is often considered to be a bit better than the rest, I'm no exception from that rule... Cheers!
They used to (to my knowledge) because I have a 27 nonstick set and even got the 25 pan in nonstick. Last thing I want when camping is to scrub dishes, specially when water is scarce.
@@RedswedeOutdoors Yes definitely, and as you say, people are not aware of how easy the sounds travel over water, in the direction of wind or over calm water. The other way, against the wind is a little different. And I believe that snow is among the best absorber of sound in the nature. You can be pretty close to each other and don’t hear what the other person says 🤔
Looks like a great meal in a beautiful place. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy your evening
Thank you very much David, Cheers!

Cycle touring sounds like an excellent idea, covers more ground than walking for sure. Cheers!
Lovely nature, you are so fortunate! I stay in a crime ridden part of the world! Enjoy it.
Thank you, I really do. Sad to hear of your bleak surroundings... Cheers anyway!
Yummmm
Yeah, it was pretty good. Cheers!
Looks good, Red! I dont listen to serving size. If it fills me up, then that is a serving. I always look forward to seeing your adventures
Thanks Chad. That's a definition of serving I can get behind. Cheers!

What a good fortune that they so good together Alan, I would have thought it too big. Hope it gives lots of good meals outdoor. Cheers!
I do the same.

What a great location and the scenery is wonderful. A great way to vacation! Can’t wait for part two!
Glad you enjoyed it. Cheers!
Nice cooking and camping. Food seams to taste far better in nature. Thanks for sharing Red!
True that, even the simplest of food tastes better outdoors. Glad you came along.
You had me at "new Trangia pan." :)
Then you should take it for a shake-down ;-) Cheers!

Sweet, yes all the kit, luxury, nice.
Yep, it's sweet in camp, a drag while getting there though...

Thank you. The only thing the wind really did to the Trangia was moving the "hotspot" an inch down wind. Cheers!
Thank thank for your hard work
So nice of you, Mario. Cheers!
Looks delicious!! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you, it was really good if I may say so myself. Cheers!

I sure wish Trangia would make a non stick saute pan to fit a 27. I have dropped hints to them, I hope they were listening.
Yep, they should. I also hope that they add the feature to custom build the T27 like one can with the T25. Dropping hints on that too. Cheers!
They used to (to my knowledge) because I have a 27 nonstick set and even got the 25 pan in nonstick. Last thing I want when camping is to scrub dishes, specially when water is scarce.
👍👍🙏🙏wicked my good man
Thank you Wayne!
fin film, god mat och dryck.
Tackar så mycket!
What brand of bowl/container are you using that you stored your pasta in?
I think it's the "Bowl'n Lid" from Light my Fire. I borrowed it from my wife that in turn got it as a lunch box at a hotel. Cheers!
Använder du Trangia 25 eller 27 och finns denna nya panna i olika storlekar?
Hej.
Jag har en T25 och så vitt jag vet har de inte gjort pannan till de andra storlekarna än. Ha de'!
hej - takk så mycket... what titanium platter are you using please?
It's from Snow peak, I guess that they entered the market in Sweden when I found it since it was a nice price then.
Cheers!

Some technical issues 😊
The downside of being in a public area. ;-)
