The neutrogena hydroboost lotion either fragrance free or regular is amazing post shower! It’s a lightweight gel perfect for summer. For a treat I enjoy margot elena Lollia shower gels, lotion, oils and perfumes! So yum. My favorite scent is “Breathe.”
I love the tree hut shave oils! The Moroccan Rose is the best!
The Aveeno body oil for very dry skin is lovely especially when you are still a bit damp from the shower! Subtle oat seed oil scent but really enjoyable! Thank you for all your lovely suggestions :)

I recently bought Hempz body lotion and as a person who hates feeling greasy and oils i must say it’s wonderful so i just ordered the one you recommended. I dont mind starting a little collection. The texture is so light and just instantly sinks in the skin wow!!!
I love the whole almond line from L’Occitane, the body oil is lovely!!!
I never thought I would love Ouai Melrose place body creme because it has fragrance in it and most body creams/lotions that I have tried in the past from different brands the perfume is just so strong for me and is in top of the ingredient list. When I saw the fragrance with Ouai body creme it was towards the bottom on the list and made me excited to try and I love it so much it isnt an overpowering fragrance and it makes me so happy to use!

Hempz has a dry body oil in that same almond scent!! I combine them for ultra silky skin. I got the oil at ultra maybe a month or two ago. Also now obsessed with the ouai scent after trying based on one of your earlier videos - LOVE!!
I love that the super goop oil has a spray nozzle and it has SPF! Can't wait until you do some body oil recs! Just bought Teal's Lavender Bath + Body oil.
Dove body polish is my absolute favorite body care item right now, it has the perfect amount of exfoliation and the beads don't dissolve!

I’m putting the Ouai body products on my list, they sound amazing! I’m loving the Versed keep it supple body oil. It has a subtle Ylang-Slang scent and doesn’t leave you greasy, which makes it perfect for bedtime. Also, I love that it’s a spray bottle.

I adore Kopari- as someone that has super sensitive skin and applies body lotion at least 4 times a day lol the lotions never sit on my skin and immediately sink in.❤

the Ameliorate line is incredible for those who may have bumpy/dry/flakey skin, or those with keratosis pilaris. it's not too expensive, but super effective and nice.
I’d love to see what, if anything, you’re doing to help counteract the aging effects of the DHA in self tanner products! I still believe they’re less damaging than sun exposure, but they’re definitely the lesser of two evils.
I’ve seen some people recommend using an antioxidant lotion beforehand to counteract the free radicals from the DHA-induced process in our skin, such as Gold Bond with vitamin C.
As far as my favorite body care at the moment, I’ve been using Dr. Teals lotion that has a great eucalyptus mint scent that’s supposed to be energizing. I mostly just use it on my hands but it does have an invigorating quality to it!
Since you recommended the mario badescu lip balm and I fell in love with it I figured we definitely like the same scents😍😍 I’m trying all things that smell good to abbey from now on🎉🎉❤️❤️

Girl, you gotta go to a tanning salon and buy the Hemp Nation lotions. They are way creamier, thicker, and better overall! They’re nearly identical in packaging. They’re so good even my dad loves them!
I'm an Aveeno body wash fan. Smell is less important to me and I appreciate their focus on hypoallergenic ingredients for healthy skin. Their lightly scented version has a nice simple and clean unisex scent so the boyfriend has no problem sharing! It's super affordable too!
I second this. I prefer fragrance free body wash most often. I also find it not competing with my fragrance of the day.

For oils… Ouai’s rose hair and body oil is the the melrose place scent and feels so good on the body! Also the original body scrub is in the scent melrose place as well, I believe you have the St Barts body scrub scent which is also great (I have both) but if you want a set of the melrose place scent the original is also great!
My favorite body wash right now is the Olay fresh outlast in the star apple and hibiscus scent. Smells so good.

Neutrogenia Body Oil - I use the fragrance free one which is harder to find. Not too heavy and sinks in fast for my dry skin.

I am OBSESSED with Jergen’s in shower body lotion, you put it on while your skin is still wet and then you just pat dry. Also, the Osea Undaria Algae body oil, it’s a bit pricey but totally with it in my opinion.

totally agree with the cetaphil being the best for self tanner. but i agree i want something that smells nice... i love the kai lotion.. reminds me of the ouai body cream scent... but i also love the bum bum original.. thanks again for all the recommendations!

I've been enjoying PC Retinol Skin-Smoothing Body Treatment and Versed Skin Firm Ground Retinol Body Lotion. Use both throughout the week, not together of course, and it has been great on my neck, chest and arms! If I feel like I need some more moisture I go with the PC one.
I love the DRMTLGY exfoliating lotion. I alternate that and the Versed body retinol lotion at night.
I love the smell of Kopari products so much, it’s like monoi oil I think? Its the tiare that makes it smell so beautiful. I haven’t tried actual monoi oil before but I know there are some cheap ones that I want to try!

I have 2 recommendations: the body shop body butter in the scent “nut”. I think it used to be called Brazil nut, now it’s just called “nut” very creamy, non greasy, great scent. Very moisturizing.
La Roche Posay Lipikar balm AP+
This has a great texture, non greasy, very moisturizing, light fragrance (Maybe it’s actually called fragrance free.)

I adore the scent of the ouai body cream too. But like you, I did not find it moisturizing enough. I started just applying it to my chest and arms to get the smell and cerave to the rest of my body.

Derma B body wash and lotion have been really good for my dry winter skin. The price isn't bad and its a Korean product, but available on Amazon. The scent is really nice, but very light.

I am obsessed with their body serum and body lotion. Just fantastic. My skin all over looks divine with those two products (if I may say so myself😊)
I really enjoy the Necessaire body serum and hand cream… I get a bit anxious when I finish them up. I also LOVE the Neom A Perfect Nights Sleep hand cream and body butter. So comforting.

There are definitely a few things I'll be adding to my next Sephora sale haul. I love naturium but these options are lovely and I'm sure my husband will like the smell better

The Moroccanoil dry body oil is great. It smells nice and is not to greasy.
My fave lotion is the Tree Hut Coco Colada mixed with the Aquation hyaluronic acid moisture cream. In shower its Tree Hut Tropic Glow scrub, Raw Sugar Almond Milk Agave Oatmeal body wash and Sol Janeiro Coco Cabana cleanser💙💚💙
Have you tried the Venus deluxe smooth razor? Comes in the mint green box and has a silver handle. My friend swears by it so I just went and bought it. Excited to try it out soon. 🙌

Necessaire carries my favorite exfoliator. Fine sand like granules. Scent- I have eucalyptus. I’m purchasing sandalwood next.
Also the body wash by necessaire. Both products feel very high quality and luxurious.

Bay Harbor Beauty has amazing Glowing Body Oils to choose from. Gosh there is Flower Bomb, Vanilla Sandalwood, Island coconut lots to choose from, etc. I have been using them for a couple of years now. Tammy from Tammy's Ageless Beauty introduced this brand to me and I'm hooked:) I think she even has a discount:)

Really enjoy your feedback. As a 57 year old woman with very dry skin and sun spots I find it very confusing to determine which products I should be using from skin care to makeup. Do you have video's specifically for the older age group that I should focus upon?
No7 has proven studies behind their products- They make makeup and skincare. For dry skin I like Clinique Dramatically different, square bottle with light yellow cream. I use it mostly all year long. I really enjoy PIXI I am sensitive to a lot and their line seems to play well with my skin. I love their Rose serum or the rose cerimide night cream-Pretty much anything from the brand I love. NOW if you want simple and very affordable go to the vitamin aisle look for JAMIESON vit E cream(which is nice and thick ) and their Retinol nigh cream. I hope this helps you a bit. Take care :) oh and nivea in shower lotion( I swear by this simple step)

I have been loving Nuxe multi-purpose nourishing oil for face, body, & hair. It is pricey but I am lucky that family always gifts it to me. I like to mix a few squirts in with my body lotion and apply all over after showering. I also love my new Rockwell straight razor! I get a superior shave, it is so much more cost effective than disposable razors, and more environmentally friendly 🥰

my holy grail for body care is definitely Rituals.... I use everything from therm, foaming shower gels (I always have at least 3 different fragrances in the shower), shower oils, body creams, hand creams, hand washes... just everything and all the time when is someone visiting my house and they try this foaming shower gels, they fell in love so when I travel back home (I am from Slovakia but live in the UK) i buy few of these at the airport and bring it home to everyone. My absolute favourite is Rituals of Karma and Rituals of Ayurveda... and their body oils are perfect as well, I always use them after shaving, much better than normal aftershave creams
To make my self tanners last longer I like to use Hempz original body moisturizer and I like Alba Botanica very emollient body lotion maximum.
I would love to use all these nice body products but my body skin is so sensitive and dry so I can only use those boring medical ones like Diprobase and Apoderm. I love Aveeno though, their Dermexa cream and their one for very dry skin that’s fragrance free are my faves. I use the Face Theory Glyconide cream on my feet. It has 9% glycolic acid and makes my feet and ankles so smooth and soft.

How do you feel about dove bodywashes?
My favorite body oil above all is the buff city shower oil i use it on my body my face in my hair and its affordable and comes in so many scents and if you go to a buff city shop they can combine scents the one im using right now i combined oatmeal and coconut and it smells so warm and vanilla-y and coconutty and amazing
My favorite body cream/body butter is from atlanta body culinary on etsy its their 8oz whipped body butter u can get it in literally any scent you want they hav so many currently using birthday cake
Abbey you should try the Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter. It’s my favorite body butter! I’m not a fan of body butters bc the ones I’ve tried were to oily for me until I tried the Josie Maran.

After trying all of these + more, I found out about a body lotion (available on Amazon) that is the best moisturizing AND smells amazing 😻: Lux Unfiltered No 14 Conditioning Body Cream (Santal) - Ultra Hydrating Vegan Body Lotion + Hyaluronic Acid + Vitamin C + Squalane + Jojoba Oil + Shea Butter! It’s kinda pricey, yet worth it…am I’ll never buy anything else 👍👍
You should try the frank body glide n glo body oil stick and any other frank body products!

Have you tried using the Supergoop Glow Oil when your skin is wet? Wondering if this product will seal in more moisture that way.

Far and away the Bioderma Atoderm Cleansing Oil is the best in-shower cleansing product because it doesn’t try out the skin and feels like silk. There’s nothing out there quite like it and it is on many Derm holy grail lists.

I love the tropic glow body butter and scrub. Smells amazing and they are nice drugstore affordable products. Haven’t tried the pineapple one but I already have so many scrubs from them. Coco colada, papaya, cotton candy and vanilla are nice scents to check out. Those are my faves.

Have you tried tree hut body scrubs, eos shaving cream, olay new (ish) line of body washes with retinol/ hyaluronic acid/ vitamin c/ collagen etc. Do you think adding the fragrance oil with lotion and or using any of the oils in general affects the lasting time of your tan??
