    You are now officially my 'Holy Grail' UA-cam influencer. I'm 46, and have only recently (this past year) gotten into the beauty realm. Though, I've been dabbling in the skincare realm for awhile. I really appreciate your honest and knowledgeable reviews and info. It's apparent that your videos are well thought out. I agree. I’m 51 and I appreciate how much detail and research Abbey puts into her videos and I agree with her reviews. I don’t have the time to spend on myself that I did in my 20s so I like that I can learn some beauty hacks to get the best results and what products really work. Also I love that Abbey likes to find cheaper products where possible. 😁

    • @SandysArtChannel
      @SandysArtChannel Рік тому +14

      I agree. There is something about the Moroccan oil that magically absorbs into my fine, frizzy hair that never seems to happen with other hair oils. And, as someone who's hair struggles with coconut oil I will say - Not all oils are equal when it comes to hair, even if the ingredients list seems similar. Also, Moroccan Oil is definitely on the lower priced side of the high end hair oils. It's one of the cheapest at Sephora. And worth it, IMO!! :D

    Thank you for mentioning the Lancome concealer. So impressed that you can see the value of products from older brands instead of jumping on boutique brand sensations on social media. Years ago I browsed the cosmetic counters in Macy's and Nordstrom and realize I now overlook those brands.

    Great video Abbey! I do agree on so many products, especially the DRMTLGY tinted SPF and the Lancôme Concealor…SO good. I found the L’Oreal Age Perfect Serum Foundation a little too sheer and too glowy and I could not find a shade…and the true match nude hyaluronic serum was too matte, BUT mixing them together….Perfect shade, beautiful medium Coverage and just the right amount of radiance. Perfection on my 62 year old dry skin.

    Awesome video 👏🏻 I agree on DRMTLY. I just ordered 2 more bottles. I love how it’s light weight and dries down nicely. I have very dry skin and it feels nice on my skin. Have to agree to disagree on the Missha Sun Milk - I love it so much!! Retail at $30 is rather expensive, but it's usually around $15-$17 on Asian beauty sites, which I'm willing to pay. I don't have dry skin but it's great for me personally. It has a very natural finish on me though....I do think I want to try something more radiant in the future, but this will definitely always be one of my go-tos.

    Oh I adore the Bliss one, i tried many tinted mineral spfs and for my oily skin with cold undertones, it's the best. I feel the smell fades away quickly and as someone who doesn't like to use fragranced stuff, this one is ok. It shows how we are different 😁 I find many mineral ones either dry or leave a nasty cast, not this one.

    Great video! I have and love the performance of the Lancôme concealer. My only gripe is the shades. I have the lightest …Ivory N and it matches my summer skin tone but is not at all ..even a tiny bit… brightening under the eyes. I don’t want the under-eyes super pale but a bit lighter. I do like the undertone and it helps camouflage the deep blue from my aging, deep-set undereye area but not lighten. I am almost always the fairest in most shade ranges of complexion products. I think next try is the lightest Kosas concealer shade. I thought I had the lightest but there appears to be one more shade lighter

    Hi Abbey ❤, Great video as always 😊. I agree with you about the IT Cosmetics CC Cream! I get oily in the t-zone area and this just makes my even more oily and gross throughout the day. I've a full fringe and this makes it so greasy as if I didn't wash my hair 🙃. I've didn't hear of Dermatology until I subscribed to your channel. I have purchased the Needless Serum twice now thanks to your discount code 😘. I've also ordered and tried out the Night Time Peptide Cream Advanced Neck Cream, (early stages with those last two products). Hope you're keeping well ❤!

    Aww, this hurt my feelings 😎 I 💕❤️💕 the Missha Soft Finish ss! No white cast, just the right amount of hydration and beautiful under makeup. This is my HG. I guess what they say is true - individual skin reacts differently with products. Def super dry skin / pale face approved. 😎

    The Misha pink top dries my skin a bit in non summer weather, although I don't have white cast and I am extremely fair. I use it in summer ok. Abbey, you got me onto the Skin Aqua super moisture gel a couple years ago, and I still love it. You get tons for a great price (140 ml pump bottle is fabulous). I tried many top brands of American (I'm Canadian) tinted sunscreens, and they just didn't work for me with color. I don't like the heaviness of them either, in comparison to Skin Aqua. Thanks Abbey.

    The Charlotte tilbury contour wand is my holy grail I don’t like wearing contour but the shade light medium looks like a bronzer and a contour on me I don’t like super warm bronzers. Love this contour wand so much I’m on my 2nd tube of it but I’ll have to try that anatasia one too 😅

    I have dry skin and fell in love with the it cc cream years ago. These days If I use it I basically add a tiny amount into my sunscreen to sheer it out because it is just too much coverage- I much prefer the L’Oréal serum (though also mixed into my sunscreen) bc I prefer the formula and the price! And those tanologist drops are what I live by these days! Curious if you have priced any difference in the dark shade since the new EU regulations came out, or if you’ve tried the ultra dark version.

    I've never used the Missha - Soft Finish sunscreen (pink top), but I have used the Missha - All Around Essence Sun Milk (green top). The green one is my absolute favorite. The consistency is like the pink one, very light and has a cooling sensation when applied, and looks super dewy texture wise. I've never got any white cast while applying and I am asian. I think before you write it off, you should try out the Sun Milk one (green top) and let me know what ya think!!

      I didn’t like the Elf Camo CC cream it’s was very drying, very cakey, I felt like it cracked in certain area’s and I didn’t like the color shades they never came out the right shade for me some might like it but I didn’t like it, but yes the L’Oréal Age Perfect serum foundation is so good I know people don’t like L’Oréal but I like L’Oréal their products always work for my skin type and hair just like I like L’Oréal EverPure Glossing Shampoo and Conditioner and some of the other L’Oréal EverPure hair products

    I will say the Missha in the pink, that you have as the overrated, isn’t fabulous. But… the same brand in the green or the blue cap? love them! They pair well with or under makeup, but also work incredibly well alone. I am currently using the green cap on my shoulders when outside (in the south Texas sun!) and it’s beautiful for that. It’s perfect and lightweight and I love it.

    I have fair cool toned sensitive dry skin and love the block star. The smell doesn’t bother me and it blurs which I love because I wear it alone. Most tints are too warm toned for me to wear which is a bummer. I also love the L’Oréal foundation. I have gotten so many compliments on my skin when I wear it.

    I used IT CC cream for YEARS and it was my holy grail. And then one day, it looked like crap, and kept on looking like crap. The same thing had happened to me before with Bare Minerals. I have to blame it on menopause skin. After trying a billion different products I’ve landed on the Dermtlgy Tinted Moisturizer spf 46 with a dusting of Laura Geller powder foundation. Thanks for your recommendations, Abbey-- there are a couple of intriguing ones I’m going to try.

    Missha Soft Finish is my HG sunscreen and I have oily skin! I have tried dozens looking for a nice light matte finish and this is IT. No white cast at all, great texture, light, spreads well and dries very fast with no oily look. I would not recommend it for dry skin but is a wonder for oily skin. I recommended to my mother and son and they love it as well. Your review made me think that you may have got a fake product.
