I just put a cbr 900rr in a Polaris 400 trailblazer. Had to cut off top and sides kept bottom didn't have to extend it at all and I got two keep the original transmission and so it has reverse

The quad would win with the right rider as for it won’t handle as good as a street bike because it wasn’t designed to go that fast. But it’s not about top speed it’s about acceleration
any decent welder should be able to put the 2 together ,provided you have the complete bike AND quad. yamaha frames are the best choice for 4cyl transplant. due to their large engine cavity. i put a 77 kz650 into a 85 honda trx250x by cutting the back bone from the bike .. which removed the front also and the belly out of the atv frame only leaving the back bone and everything in front of the engine cavity .the next move was to weld the bikes engine bay to the atv chassis // i did so by allighning the 2 parts to fit nicely and straight and centered. then cut sections of pipe to weld between the 2.. then cut the bike swingarms (frame to swingarm) mounting tube clean. so only the tube that holds the bearings was left. then on the atv swingarm i cut its tube in half the longway leaving it connected to the swingarm and in a c shape .. centered it to the swing arm mount i cut from the bike/and tack welded it. then made a sproket relocation spacer with used rear sprockets ground so the chain will clear. and installed a chain to test true alignment before finishing the
